Christ Made Sin 2008

Print Friendly, PDF & Email

2Co 5:21 For he hath made him sin for us, who knew no sin; that we might be made the righteousness of God in him.

Heb 9:28  So Christ was once offered to bear the sins of many; and unto them that look for him shall he appear the second time without sin unto salvation.

The scriptures that declare, “Christ is made sin” have come into question. This belief needs discussion. Christ replied to Satan “man shall not live by bread alone but by every word that proceeds out of the mouth of God”. Is Christ is living by every word? Is Christ fulfilling every scripture?

Mat 4:4  But he answered and said, It is written, Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceedeth out of the mouth of God. Mar 14:48-49  And Jesus answered and said unto them, Are ye come out, as against a thief, with swords and with staves to take me? I was daily with you in the temple teaching, and ye took me not: but the scriptures must be fulfilled

God the Father is making all things through Christ. All things are in Christ including the good and the evil. Christ is not alone in this. He is our head. His body is there with him as one. We are one with Christ and with the Father. In addition, the ONE is “living by every word that proceeds out of the mouth of God”.

1Co 11:3  But I would have you know, that the head of every man is Christ; and the head of the woman is the man; and the head of Christ is God.

Joh 17:11 And now I am no more in the world, but these are in the world, and I come to thee. Holy Father, keep through thine own name those whom thou hast given me, that they may be one, as we are.
Joh 17:22 And the glory which thou gavest me I have given them; that they may be one, even as we are one

We are in Christ and Christ is in us, if Chris is in you. Christ lifting us up will lead us to reign with him as his Christ. Christ lifts us up for the purpose of bringing all into the understanding and wisdom of the Father. So that God the Father will become all in all. These things are happening now “for the time is at hand.” These things have been happening so that we learn obedience. These things will be happening so we can teach others how to be obedient.

1Co 15:28  And when all things shall be subdued unto him, then shall the Son (the head and the body, “the Christ”) also himself be subject unto him that put all things under him, that God may be all in all.

Rev 20:6  Blessed and holy is he that hath part in the first resurrection: on such the second death hath no power, but they shall be priests of God and of Christ, and shall reign with him a thousand years.

Rev 1:3  Blessed is he that readeth, and they that hear the words of this prophecy, and keep those things which are written therein: for the time is at hand.

Can we say, “God is not responsible for all that is happening”? God is in control. Either God is in total control or He is not in control, which would mean we are in control. This is a lie of the adversary. God is sovereign. The word is being lived through Christ, has been lived, and will be lived until every man fulfills all scriptures. Then Christ will return all over to the Father and God will be all in all. God claims responsibility for all things. He says, “I have spoken, I will also bring it to pass”. His words are not spoken in vain. Every word has purpose. Good and evil have purpose. That purpose is to destroy the flesh through death.

Lev 18:4  Ye shall do my judgments, and keep mine ordinances, to walk therein: I am the LORD your God.

Isa 45:7  I form the light, and create darkness: I make peace, and create evil: I the LORD do all these things.

Isa 46:11  Calling a ravenous bird from the east, the man that executeth my counsel from a far country: yea, I have spoken it, I will also bring it to pass; I have purposed it, I will also do it.

God does not tempt us. However, the Lord sends spirits to tempt us. He has created Satan, our adversary, and his angels to tempt us. God sends evil spirits to tempt us and he turns us over to our lusts. God has created “death by sin” through our adversary and by the beast for the destruction of the flesh. We are in death but Christ has conquered death. Knowing this we must still complete the fulfillment of the scriptures and must die daily in order to gain life. Life is the goal of God the Father. In addition, He is choosing to do this through this body of death. Life comes about through death.

Jas 1:13-14  Let no man say when he is tempted, I am tempted of God: for God cannot be tempted with evil, neither tempteth he any man: But every man is tempted, when he is drawn away of his own lust, and enticed.

1Sa 16:16  Let our lord now command thy servants, which are before thee, to seek out a man, who is a cunning player on an harp: and it shall come to pass, when the evil spirit from God is upon thee, that he shall play with his hand, and thou shalt be well.

Mar 1:13 And he was there in the wilderness forty days, tempted of Satan; and was with the wild beasts; and the angels ministered unto him.

Rom 5:12 Wherefore, as by one man sin entered into the world, and death by sin; and so death passed upon all men, for that all have sinned:

1Co 5:5 To deliver such an one unto Satan for the destruction of the flesh, that the spirit may be saved in the day of the Lord Jesus.

Rom 6:9 Knowing that Christ being raised from the dead dieth no more; death hath no more dominion over him.

1Co 15:31 I protest by your rejoicing which I have in Christ Jesus our Lord, I die daily.

Rom 7:24 O wretched man that I am! who shall deliver me from the body of this death?

Joh 12:24 Verily, verily, I say unto you, Except a corn of wheat fall into the ground and die, it abideth alone: but if it die, it bringeth forth much fruit.

Now Christ himself came in the flesh. He is in the flesh now. He did come in the flesh to be the type and shadow that we need to follow with our spiritual understanding. Christ did come in the flesh, which represents the carnal mind, to be our example. Christ is coming into that carnal mind in order to destroy it. In addition, he is destroying it by giving us life.

1Jn 4:2-3 Hereby know ye the Spirit of God: Every spirit that confesseth that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh is of God: And every spirit that confesseth not that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh is not of God: and this is that spirit of antichrist, whereof ye have heard that it should come; and even now already is it in the world.

Rom 12:2 And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.

Rom 8:3-6  For what the law could not do, in that it was weak through the flesh, God sending his own Son in the likeness of sinful flesh, and for sin, condemned sin in the flesh: That the righteousness of the law might be fulfilled in us, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit. For they that are after the flesh do mind the things of the flesh; but they that are after the Spirit the things of the Spirit. For to be carnally minded is death; but to be spiritually minded is life and peace.

What is life? This is life, to be spiritually minded and to know God and whom he has sent. Knowing the Father and his Son, we receive life. Christ and his angels give life and the devil and his angels give death. The devil and his angels keep us in deception by feeding us heresies until the time appointed when we are to come out of this deception. Because heresies must be among us so that, we can come out of them. By coming out of them, we grow. Life is what grows. Death dies. All this is taking place in this body of death. The mind of Christ is replacing the carnal mind. Knowing the Father and his Son is receiving Christ and his teachings. Christ’s teaching is that his Father has created all things through him, by him and for him. This includes the wicked for the day of evil. This includes the evil that proceeds out of our mouth and our heart. This also includes the life that the Father is giving us through Christ. We are to live by every word that proceeds out of the mouth of God. Christ being the beginning of the creation of God is doing exactly that. Christ is living by every word.

Joh 17:3 And this is life eternal, that they might know thee the only true God, and Jesus Christ, whom thou hast sent.

1Jn 5:20 And we know that the Son of God is come, and hath given us an understanding, that we may know him that is true, and we are in him that is true, even in his Son Jesus Christ. This is the true God, and eternal life.

1Co 11:19 For there must be also heresies among you, that they which are approved may be made manifest among you.

2Jn 1:9 Whosoever transgresseth, and abideth not in the doctrine of Christ, hath not God. He that abideth in the doctrine of Christ, he hath both the Father and the Son.

Col 1:16 For by him were all things created, that are in heaven, and that are in earth, visible and invisible, whether they be thrones, or dominions, or principalities, or powers: all things were created by him, and for him:

Pro 16:4 The LORD hath made all things for himself: yea, even the wicked for the day of evil.

Rev 3:14 And unto the angel of the church of the Laodiceans write; These things saith the Amen, the faithful and true witness, the beginning of the creation of God;

Christ is not doing this alone. He is “the Christ”. “The Christ” is the “Head” and the “body”. “The Christ” is not complete without the body. The head cannot survive without the body and the body cannot live without the head. This is the Fathers doing. He has done this for his purpose, not for the purpose of evil men but for his own purpose. The evil in us is vanishing. The evil is conquered. The Father does this through Christ. Christ risen, he is the resurrection; he is our life it is accomplished. God will be all in all.

Mar 8:29 And he saith unto them, But whom say ye that I am? And Peter answereth and saith unto him, Thou art the Christ.

Eph 1:9-11Having made known unto us the mystery of his will, according to his good pleasure which he hath purposed in himself: That in the dispensation of the fulness of times he might gather together in one all things in Christ, both which are in heaven, and which are on earth; even in him: In whom also we have obtained an inheritance, being predestinated according to the purpose of him who worketh all things after the counsel of his own will:

What has to happen now is the completion of Christ. This completion is by living by every word for all men. That is what it will take to complete Christ. This is the only way Christ will be complete. All men will live by every word.

Col 2:9-10 For in him dwelleth all the fulness of the Godhead bodily. And ye are complete in him, which is the head of all principality and power:

Now, Christ is rising up his priests to reign with him. All this accomplished for his glory. Those that are reigning with him are glorifying the Father through Christ by keeping his teachings. We are to keep the sayings of the prophecy of this book and do everything written in the book. The book of Life, Christ, our hope and glory.

Rev 5:10 And hast made us unto our God kings and priests: and we shall reign on the earth.

Psa 139:16 Thine eyes did see my substance, yet being unperfect; and in thy book all my members were written, which in continuance were fashioned, when as yet there was none of them.

(Rev 1:3) Blessed is he that readeth, and they that hear the words of this prophecy, and keep those things which are written therein: for the time is at hand.

We must get away from being fearful of what others may think of us saying Christ made sin. Christ is living by every word that proceeds out of the mouth of God. It is that simple. He has conquered death and sin.

Rom 8:2 For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus hath made me free from the law of sin and death.

God speaks as though it has already happened. God has given us all these commandments knowing that we will stumble and fall. Why has he done this? So that we can learn obedience by the things, that we suffer so that Christ is completed. The fulfillment of the Word is in this manner. All things completed through us, for us and by us, as we become “the Christ”.

Rom 4:17  (As it is written, I have made thee a father of many nations,) before him whom he believed, even God, who quickeneth the dead, and calleth those things which be not as though they were.

Pro 24:16 For a just man falleth seven times, and riseth up again: but the wicked shall fall into mischief.

Heb 5:8 Though he were a Son, yet learned he obedience by the things which he suffered;

Now this is all the wisdom of God. God’s wisdom is not man’s wisdom. Who can understand his ways? We receive the spirit in earnest. We see things through a dark glass. The only way we see the things of the spirit is by the Father sending his light to us. Christ is the light. The Christ is the light. The Christ is the head and the body. The Christ is living by every word that proceeds out of the mouth of God. “Christ made sin”. This is a hard saying. We do not want to go there. We do not want to believe the words that have proceeded out of the mouth of God. It is easier to believe the lies of the adversary. The adversary says we are in control. Well the Father says he is in control. He is responsible. He is sovereign.

Isa 14:24-26 The LORD of hosts hath sworn, saying, Surely as I have thought, so shall it come to pass; and as I have purposed, so shall it stand: That I will break the Assyrian in my land, and upon my mountains tread him under foot: then shall his yoke depart from off them, and his burden depart from off their shoulders. This is the purpose that is purposed upon the whole earth: and this is the hand that is stretched out upon all the nations.

Every knee will bow and every mouth will confess that Christ is Lord. The only way this is accomplished is by living by every by every word of God. You are not bowing down and you are not confessing with your mouth that Christ is Lord if you are not living by every word that proceeds out of the mouth of God. Christ bows down to his Father and through him, we receive the Father. Christ living by every word glorifies the Father. We glorify Christ by living by every word. The glory is Christ in us.

Isa 45:23 I have sworn by myself, the word is gone out of my mouth in righteousness, and shall not return, That unto me every knee shall bow, every tongue shall swear.

Rom 14:11 For it is written, As I live, saith the Lord, every knee shall bow to me, and every tongue shall confess to God.

Php 2:10 That at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of things in heaven, and things in earth, and things under the earth;

The Father has chosen his Son to do all these things. Few can receive and do these things with Christ. We are his son and therefore the son of God. The completion comes by us being in Christ and Christ being in us. One day we will all rise up together and with Christ turn all things over to the Father. Then the Father will be all in all. However, we need to remember the commandments of God. These commandments are to love God with all of our hearts and minds and to love our neighbors. Love is keeping the commandments of God.

1Jn 3:2 Beloved, now are we the sons of God, and it doth not yet appear what we shall be: but we know that, when he shall appear, we shall be like him; for we shall see him as he is.

1Jn 5:2-3 By this we know that we love the children of God, when we love God, and keep his commandments.  For this is the love of God, that we keep his commandments: and his commandments are not grievous.

Mat 22:35-39 Then one of them, which was a lawyer, asked him a question, tempting him, and saying, Master, which is the great commandment in the law? Jesus said unto him, Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind. This is the first and great commandment. And the second is like unto it, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself.

Being commanded we go through this carnal existence. Did Christ not have the same experience that we are going through? Did he not have the pulls of the flesh? The carnal mind was there with him pulling at him testing him. Nevertheless, Christ being born of the spirit has the power to subdue the carnal mind. He is in control by the Father giving him the power.

Heb 2:18 For in that he himself hath suffered being tempted, he is able to succour them that are tempted.

Php 3:21 Who shall change our vile body, that it may be fashioned like unto his glorious body, according to the working whereby he is able even to subdue all things unto himself.

These are important concepts we have learned in the past few years, “Christ made sin”. In addition, learning that we must “compare spiritual with spiritual” has been just as important. “The Christ” is the head and the body. The body of Christ receives stripes. The body of Christ sacrifices for all. The body of Christ hangs on a tree. It is an ongoing experience until every man receives the whole fulfillment of the word. Once every fulfilled word passes through all men then the end will come. Christ is the end. Christ is the beginning. Christ is all in all. The time will come when all this will come to pass. Nevertheless, there is a season for everything. The season that is upon us now is “The Christ” is made sin. “The Christ” is made sin for the reason of learning obedience. “Through His suffering he learned obedience”. The suffering comes by sin destroying the flesh and death by sin.

Rom 5:12 Wherefore, as by one man sin entered into the world, and death by sin; and so death passed upon all men, for that all have sinned: (For until the law sin was in the world: but sin is not imputed when there is no law. Nevertheless death reigned from Adam to Moses, even over them that had not sinned after the similitude of Adam’s transgression, who is the figure of him that was to come.

Rom 7:10-14 And the commandment, which was ordained to life, I found to be unto death. For sin, taking occasion by the commandment, deceived me, and by it slew me. Wherefore the law is holy, and the commandment holy, and just, and good. Was then that which is good made death unto me? God forbid. But sin, that it might appear sin, working death in me by that which is good; that sin by the commandment might become exceeding sinful. For we know that the law is spiritual: but I am carnal, sold under sin.

2Co 5:21 For he hath made him sin for us, who knew no sin; that we might be made the righteousness of God in him.

Heb 9:28 So Christ was once offered to bear the sins of many; and unto them that look for him shall he appear the second time without sin unto salvation.

1Co 15:50 Now this I say, brethren, that flesh and blood cannot inherit the kingdom of God; neither doth corruption inherit incorruption.

1Jn 4:2-3 Hereby know ye the Spirit of God: Every spirit that confesseth that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh (flesh and blood, corruption)  is of God:  And every spirit that confesseth not that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh (flesh and blood, corruption)  is not of God: and this is that spirit of antichrist, whereof ye have heard that it should come; and even now already is it in the world.

2Jn 1:7 For many deceivers are entered into the world, who confess not that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh (flesh and blood, corruption) . This is a deceiver and an antichrist.

Jer 18:4 And the vessel that he made of clay was marred (flesh and blood, corruption) in the hand of the potter: so he made it again another vessel, as seemed good to the potter to make it.

Psa 51:5 Behold, I was shapen in iniquity; (flesh and blood, corruption) and in sin did my mother conceive me.

Gal 4:4 But when the fulness of the time was come, God sent forth his Son, made of a woman (flesh and blood, corruption), made under the law,

1Co 6:9-10 Know ye not that the unrighteous (flesh and blood, corruption) shall not inherit the kingdom of God? Be not deceived: neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor effeminate, nor abusers of themselves with mankind, Nor thieves, nor covetous, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor extortioners, (flesh and blood, corruption) shall inherit the kingdom of God.
Gal 5:21 Envyings, murders, drunkenness, revellings, and such like (flesh and blood, corruption): of the which I tell you before, as I have also told you in time past, that they which do such things shall not inherit the kingdom of God.

I will leave you with this prayer of Christ for us.

Joh 17:9-26 I pray for them: I pray not for the world, but for them which thou hast given me; for they are thine. And all mine are thine, and thine are mine; and I am glorified in them. And now I am no more in the world, but these are in the world, and I come to thee. Holy Father, keep through thine own name those whom thou hast given me, that they may be one, as we are. While I was with them in the world, I kept them in thy name: those that thou gavest me I have kept, and none of them is lost, but the son of perdition; that the scripture might be fulfilled. And now come I to thee; and these things I speak in the world, that they might have my joy fulfilled in themselves. I have given them thy word; and the world hath hated them, because they are not of the world, even as I am not of the world. I pray not that thou shouldest take them out of the world, but that thou shouldest keep them from the evil. They are not of the world, even as I am not of the world. Sanctify them through thy truth: thy word is truth. As thou hast sent me into the world, even so have I also sent them into the world. And for their sakes I sanctify myself, that they also might be sanctified through the truth. Neither pray I for these alone, but for them also which shall believe on me through their word; That they all may be one; as thou, Father, art in me, and I in thee, that they also may be one in us: that the world may believe that thou hast sent me. And the glory which thou gavest me I have given them; that they may be one, even as we are one: I in them, and thou in me, that they may be made perfect in one; and that the world may know that thou hast sent me, and hast loved them, as thou hast loved me. Father, I will that they also, whom thou hast given me, be with me where I am; that they may behold my glory, which thou hast given me: for thou lovedst me before the foundation of the world. O righteous Father, the world hath not known thee: but I have known thee, and these have known that thou hast sent me. And I have declared unto them thy name, and will declare it: that the love wherewith thou hast loved me may be in them, and I in them.
