Hey Mike, I am having trouble with understanding grace (chastisement). Is the same word for grace in Rom 5:20 the same word used in Rom.6:1 Shall we continue in sin that (chastisement) shall abound? Also in Rom.6:14, you are not under the law but under (chastisement). How does... [read more]

In your paper entitled "What Part of this Book is your Part" page3. The paragraph:
The children of night are "drunken... they are Not of the day.... Let us not sleep as do others... but let us who are of the day be sober..." and yet both are God's elect???? That is what we are being ask... [read more]

The short answer is, merely considering the predicament of the thief on the cross, NO (Luk 23:43). God can save us without us having to be submerged in water, or sprinkled, or any outward physical form of cleansing. Since so few of us even believe that we are on the cross with Christ... [read more]

Good morning, Mike,
I came across these verses and I wonder if I am seeing this correctly.
Jer 7:30-33 For the children of Judah have done evil in my sight, saith the LORD: they have set their abominations in the house which is called by my name, to pollute it. And they have built the high pl... [read more]

Hello Mike,
Thank you for taking my questions. You and your website have been extremely helpful to me - thanks again.

Hi Mike,
I have been re- reading the gospels and wondering if you can explain why Jesus went only to the Jews. Also wondering what he meant in Matthew when it says he came to save His people? Mat 1:21. Also, since Jesus hadn't been crucified yet, I assume the gospels up until his crucifixion are sh... [read more]

Hi Mike
I have your article on the "law." It is very wonderful. I just have some questions about it.
Didn't Jesus come in our place so that we wouldn't have to bear the curse of the law?
I understand that he came to fulfill what the law and the prophets testified to "types and shadows, fulfillment ... [read more]

How do we know if we are offering our bodies enough as a living sacrifice to be in the first resurrection? Is there a measuring stick as to whether we are putting to death the deeds of the flesh enough? It sounds like you are saying Paul was concerned that he could lose his first- fruits salvation.... Mike,
If everyone is going to heaven or be saved anyhow, then why did Christ have to die?
Thanks,
D____
Hello D____,
Christ had to die so that everyone could be saved. If a fireman has to go into a burning building to save one person, and then finds there are ten in there, don't you think he shoul... [read more]
