Christ Versus Christian Religion

Print Friendly, PDF & Email

Hi I____,

To be perfectly honest with you, I challenge you to name one single doctrine of orthodox Christianity that is scriptural. Orthodox Catholic and Protestant Christianity, both quote many truths from the scriptures, but just as the Serpent did with Eve, they go on to twist God’s words into a contradiction of God’s word.

The subject of the book ‘The Restitution of All Things’ is as good an example as can be given. All orthodox Christians quote and affirm that “God is love.” Then, in the same breath they will tell you that this ‘loving Father’ will sustain the fires of hell for all eternity so that those who go there will endure unimaginable, excruciating pain and agony for all eternity. And after one trillion years have passed with no purpose or reason to do so, this ‘loving Father’ of the orthodox Christian religion has not even begun to torment you for what you chose to do in that “as a vapor that appears for a moment” life, that you lived way back billions of years before.

I am not saying that there are not ‘chosen’ people who are yet in ‘Babylon.’ There are, but they will “come out of her” in God’s own time.

If I have misunderstood your question, forgive me. I certainly don’t mean to be dumping on you. I don’t want to be overly “generally speaking” as you put it, in my answer. I used to think that at least I had Christ in common with orthodoxy. But Paul tells us that even this is not so:

Gal 1:6 I marvel that ye are so soon removed from him [ Christ] that called you into the grace of Christ unto another gospel:

And again from Christ Himself:

Mar 13:22 For false Christs and false prophets shall rise, and shall shew signs and wonders, to seduce, if it were possible, even the elect.

These “signs and wonders” are accompanied by many false doctrines, far too many to name them all in an e- mail.

I hope I will still hear from you again.

Mike
