Why Does God Have a First Fruit?

I’m sorry to hear that you are still struggling with the concept of a monstrous God who will torture anyone in an eternal pit of literal flames for all eternity over a predestined life of unbelief which is called in its entirety “a vapor that appears for a moment then vanishes away”.

Jas 4:14  Whereas ye know not what shall be on the morrow. For what is your life? It is even a vapour, that appeareth for a little time, and then vanisheth away.

Calvin really was a given a monstrous demon. Let me ask you a couple of questions which I will, Lord willing, one day ask Calvin himself.
1) Do you believe that the mercy you are being shown, and the belief and faith you are being given is at the expense of those who do not believe? I hope you find it in your heart to believe that is true, because it is.

Rom 11:30  For as ye in times past have not believed God, yet have now obtained mercy through their unbelief:

2) Do you believe that the mercy you are being shown is for the purpose of showing that very same mercy to those who do not, in this age believe? I pray you are granted the faith to believe that to be so, because it is. That is why those who believe in this life are given that faith, according to the scriptures.

Rom 11:31  Even so have these also now not believed, that through your mercy they also may obtain mercy.

A third question I will ask is, why is God saving a remnant at this time? Is it not for the purpose of using that remnant for the purpose of “having mercy on all?”

Rom 11:32  For God hath concluded them all in unbelief, that he might have mercy upon all.

Now I want to help you, but all I have to offer is these Truths, straight out of the Word of God. So please answer those questions if you respond.
God’s “firstfruits” are not His only fruits. Hence the name ‘firstfruits’. Again, all unbelievers will be brought to the faith through God’s firstfruit elect.

Jas 1:18  Of his own will begat he us with the word of truth, that we should be a kind of firstfruits of his creatures.
