The Last Great Day: Prophecies Concerning The Year of Jubilee The Great White Throne Judgment – That God May Be All In All
[Study Aired October 10, 2025]
We are considering the spiritual significance of the last great day, the seventh and the last of the holy days given by God to Israel for our admonition (1Co 10:11). This day signifies the beginning of the great white throne judgment which will bring all men of all time to know and love their Creator. Another ordinance given to ancient Israel which signifies this same last great day and the forgiving of all sins and debts of all time is the year of the jubile after seven sevens of years. Like Pentecost, the year of jubilee is the fiftieth year, the year after seven sabbath years:
Lev 25:10 And ye shall hallow the fiftieth year, and proclaim liberty throughout all the land unto all the inhabitants thereof: it shall be a jubile unto you; and ye shall return every man unto his possession, and ye shall return every man unto his family.
Eze 16:55 When thy sisters, Sodom and her daughters, shall return to their former estate, and Samaria and her daughters shall return to their former estate, then thou and thy daughters shall return to your former estate.
1Co 15:28 And when all things shall be subdued unto him, then shall the Son also himself be subject unto him that put all things under him, that God may be all in all.
Eph 1:21 Far above all principality, and power, and might, and dominion, and every name that is named, not only in this world, but also in that which is to come:
Eph 1:22 And hath put all things under his feet, and gave him to be the head over all things to the church,
Eph 1:23 Which is his body, the fulness of him that filleth all in all.
Introduction
We ended our last study with these words:
“In our next study we will show that many of the prophecies which the churches of Babylon apply to the thousand-year reign have been misapplied to that period, and are rather referring to the kingdom of God which is even now within God’s elect, and to the time that follows the thousand years, the time when God will begin to become be “all in all.”
All the prophecies in Isaiah, which we have been told refer to those who live at the time of the thousand-year reign, are in fact referring primarily to the condition of the kingdom of God which is even now within His elect, those who are being prepared in this life to rule this world with Christ during that thousand years. Because Christ’s words “shall never pass away” (Mat 24:35), they will also apply to all the rest of mankind who will be resurrected with spiritual bodies in the great white throne judgment, to be judged in the lake of fire. That is not to say that those in the first resurrection must also be in the second resurrection. Nor is it to say that those who die to their carnal mind first, now in this present time, must also partake of the second death. The blessings of the first resurrection are not extended to those who are partakers of the second death, and the second death has no power over those who are in the first resurrection:
Joh 5:28 Marvel not at this: for the hour is coming, in the which all that are in the graves shall hear his voice,
Joh 5:29 And shall come forth; they that have done good, unto the resurrection of life [at the beginning of the thousand-year reign]; and they that have done evil, unto the resurrection of damnation [G2920: krisis, judgment, the great white throne judgment].
This is how Christ instructs us to view His kingdom at this time:
Luk 17:20 And when he was demanded of the Pharisees, when the kingdom of God should come, he answered them and said, The kingdom of God cometh not [in this age] with observation:
Luk 17:21 Neither shall they say, Lo here! or, lo there! for, behold, [at this time] the kingdom of God is within you.
That being true, and the kingdom of God being within us at “this present time”, it is now that ‘the wolf is dwelling with the lamb’ (Isa 11:6) within those who will first be the rulers of this world and then will judge angels:
Isa 11:6 The wolf also shall dwell with the lamb, and the leopard shall lie down with the kid; and the calf and the young lion and the fatling together; and a little child shall lead them.
Isa 11:7 And the cow and the bear shall feed; their young ones shall lie down together: and the lion shall eat straw like the ox.
Isa 11:8 And the sucking child shall play on the hole of the asp, and the weaned child shall put his hand on the cockatrice’ den.
Isa 11:9 They shall not hurt nor destroy in all my holy mountain: for the earth shall be full of the knowledge of the LORD, as the waters cover the sea.
Isa 11:10 And in that day there shall be a root of Jesse, which shall stand for an ensign of the people; to it shall the Gentiles seek: and his rest shall be glorious.
The wolf, the leopard, the lion and the bear all signify the beast within every man. The ‘little child’ who is given to “lead them” and rule over them is the humble believer identified by Christ Himself:
Mat 18:2 And Jesus called a little child unto him, and set him in the midst of them,
Mat 18:3 And said, Verily I say unto you, Except ye be converted, and become as little children, ye shall not enter into the kingdom of heaven.
Mat 18:4 Whosoever therefore shall humble himself as this little child, the same is greatest in the kingdom of heaven.
The timing of this prophecy is given to us in verse 11:
Isa 11:10 And in that day there shall be a root of Jesse, which shall stand for an ensign of the people; to it shall the Gentiles seek: and his rest shall be glorious.
It is time when “a root if Jesse… shall stand for an ensign of the people.” It is “this present time” in which the Lord is preparing a nation of kings and priests to rule this world for a thousand years and then judge angels at the white throne judgment:
Rom 8:18 For I reckon that the sufferings of this present time are not worthy to be compared with the glory which shall be revealed in us.
Rom 8:19 For the earnest expectation of the creature waiteth for the manifestation of the sons of God.
1Co 6:2 Do ye not know that the saints shall judge the world? and if the world shall be judged by you, are ye unworthy to judge the smallest matters?
1Co 6:3 Know ye not that we shall judge angels? how much more things that pertain to this life?
This prophecy in Isaiah 11 primarily applies to us at this present time while we are being judged in these clay vessels prior to the thousand-year reign, and then, secondarily these prophecies, which are prophecies about God’s judgments, will apply to all men after the thousand-year reign when they are being judged in the lake of fire. Only then will the lion lie down with the lamb and be led by a converted, humble little child. Satan is under arrest in the abussos for a thousand years, but the beast will not be destroyed until “the thousand years are expired” (Rev 20:7). During the thousand years mankind is not symbolized as a “humble… little child.” Rather, mankind is so rebellious that he must be ruled with a rod of iron which will brake them to shivers:
Rev 2:26 And he that overcometh, and keepeth my works unto the end, to him will I give power over the nations:
Rev 2:27 And he shall rule them with a rod of iron; as the vessels of a potter shall they be broken to shivers: even as I received of my Father.
Notice how these prophecies, which have been attributed to the time of the thousand-year reign, actually refer to “this present time [of] judgment [which] is now on the house of God, and not to a time of being ruled with a rod of iron, leading up to a time of universal rebellion against “the Lord and His Christ.”
Isa 11:4 But with righteousness shall he judge the poor, and reprove with equity for the meek of the earth: and he shall smite the earth with the rod of his mouth, and with the breath of his lips shall he slay the wicked.
Isa 11:5 And righteousness shall be the girdle of his loins, and faithfulness the girdle of his reins.
1Pe 4:17 For the time is come that judgment must begin at the house of God: and if it first begin at us, what shall the end be of them that obey not the gospel of God?
What does this fiery judgment and chastening which is now on the house of God produce? It produces “the peaceable fruit of righteousness” with which all who now know Christ are so gratefully familiar.
Heb 12:11 Now no chastening for the present seemeth to be joyous, but grievous: nevertheless afterward it yieldeth the peaceable fruit of righteousness unto them which are exercised thereby.
Here are the very next few verses:
It is true that “the kingdoms of this world… become the kingdoms of our Lord and His Christ for a thousand years. The wolf, the leopard, the lion and the bear are within every man. Through Christ we, as a humble little child, are leading them even now.
Does the knowledge of the Lord cover the earth as the waters cover the sea during a time which leads up to the destruction of the nations in the four quarters of the earth? No, obviously it does not. If it did the nations would not rebel and “compass the camp of the saints about” (Rev 20:9). The knowledge of the Lord is covering the earth as the waters cover the sea even now within all those who are being judged at this time, and the knowledge of the Lord will also fill the earth as the waters cover the sea when the lake of fire is doing its purifying work on all men of all time following the universal rebellion of all mankind after the thousand-year reign.
Therefore these verses in Isaiah 2:4 and Micah 4:3 will also have a secondary application to each person who is cast into the lake of fire, but they have no application to those who are being ruled with a rod of iron during the thousand-year reign as they are so commonly misapplied.
Here are two more prophecies which are commonly misapplied to the time called the millennium by much of christendom.
Isa 2:1 The word that Isaiah the son of Amoz saw concerning Judah and Jerusalem.
Isa 2:2 And it shall come to pass in the last days, that the mountain of the LORD’S house shall be established in the top of the mountains, and shall be exalted above the hills; and all nations shall flow unto it.
Isa 2:3 And many people shall go and say, Come ye, and let us go up to the mountain of the LORD, to the house of the God of Jacob; and he will teach us of his ways, and we will walk in his paths: for out of Zion shall go forth the law, and the word of the LORD from Jerusalem.
Isa 2:4 And he shall judge among the nations, and shall rebuke many people: and they shall beat their swords into plowshares, and their spears into pruninghooks: nation shall not lift up sword against nation, neither shall they learn war any more.
Isa 2:5 O house of Jacob, come ye, and let us walk in the light of the LORD.
And:
Mic 4:1 But in the last days it shall come to pass, that the mountain of the house of the LORD shall be established in the top of the mountains, and it shall be exalted above the hills; and people shall flow unto it.
Mic 4:2 And many nations shall come, and say, Come, and let us go up to the mountain of the LORD, and to the house of the God of Jacob; and he will teach us of his ways, and we will walk in his paths: for the law shall go forth of Zion, and the word of the LORD from Jerusalem.
Mic 4:3 And he shall judge among many people, and rebuke strong nations afar off; and they shall beat their swords into plowshares, and their spears into pruninghooks: nation shall not lift up a sword against nation, neither shall they learn war any more.
Mic 4:4 But they shall sit every man under his vine and under his fig tree; and none shall make them afraid: for the mouth of the LORD of hosts hath spoken it.
Mic 4:5 For all people will walk every one in the name of his god, and we will walk in the name of the LORD our God for ever and ever.
Mic 4:6 In that day, saith the LORD, will I assemble her that halteth, and I will gather her that is driven out, and her that I have afflicted;
Mic 4:7 And I will make her that halted a remnant, and her that was cast far off a strong nation: and the LORD shall reign over them in mount Zion from henceforth, even for ever.
The apostle Peter tells us that we are living in “the last days.”
Act 2:17 And it shall come to pass in the last days, saith God, I will pour out of my Spirit upon all flesh: and your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, and your young men shall see visions, and your old men shall dream dreams:
Peter reaffirms this to be his understanding of the phrase ‘the last days’ when he says this:
2Pe 3:3 Knowing this first, that there shall come in the last days scoffers, walking after their own lusts,
Paul and James both consider these times to be “the last days”:
2Ti 3:1 This know also, that in the last days perilous times shall come.
Jas 5:3 Your gold and silver is cankered; and the rust of them shall be a witness against you, and shall eat your flesh as it were fire. Ye have heaped treasure together for the last days.
“The last days” of Micah 4:1 are “the ends of the ages” of this verse:
1Co 10:11 Now all these things happened unto them for ensamples: and they are written for our admonition, upon whom the ends of the world are come.
These two prophecies are almost identical and certainly are speaking of the identical same “last days.” However, the phrase ‘the last days’ is never to be understood as the time of the thousand-year reign nor of the “little season” of rebellion which follows the thousand years. That “little season” would be the physical ‘last days’ and the physical ‘time of the end’ which immediately precedes the great white throne judgment. Christ tells us that His words are spiritual words (Joh 6:63), and spiritual words are never to be understood as having their exact same primary physical meaning. Physical death, for example, is never to be confused with spiritual death, and Christ is not a physical ‘lamb’; rather He is “the Lamb of God… slain from the foundation of the world”.
Luk 9:60 Jesus said unto him, Let the dead bury their dead: but go thou and preach the kingdom of God.
Rev 13:8 And all that dwell upon the earth shall worship him, whose names are not written in the book of life of the Lamb slain from the foundation of the world.
Not even “the kingdom of God” is yet to be taken literally and in its primary physical sense:
Luk 17:20 And when he was demanded of the Pharisees, when the kingdom of God should come, he answered them and said, The kingdom of God cometh not with observation:
Luk 17:21 Neither shall they say, Lo here! or, lo there! for, behold, the kingdom of God is within you.
These prophecies concerning “the last days” apply primarily to us in “this present time… the last days” when “God is pouring out His spirit on all flesh” (Act 2:17). Any application these words will have to those who live during the thousand-year reign of Christ and His Christ will be only after that thousand years when they are cast into the lake of fire, at the great white throne judgment, and through that judgment “in the last days”, they will be purged of their rebellious carnal minds. For the thousand-year reign to be considered as a time for mankind to “freely repent and believe the Gospel, personally choosing Christ as Savior and Lord” would work against the very purpose for which God has ordained for Satan to be released and granted to “deceive the nations in the four quarters of the earth.” The very purpose for the feast of tabernacles and the last great day is to provide God the occasion He is seeking to “destroy death.” It is not designed to be a time to “freely repent and believe the gospel, personally choosing Christ as their Savior and Lord” as so many believe.
In their final application, all these prophecies in Isaiah concerning “the last days” of physical “Judah and Jerusalem” will be fulfilled only after the fire of God’s word, which is the same ‘fire’ of “the lake of fire”, has purged “Judah and Jerusalem [as well as] Sodom and Samaria” of their rebellious, carnal minds, which is also the mind of their father, the devil, who will be right there in that “lake of fire” with them.
Mat 25:41 Then shall he say also unto them on the left hand, Depart from me, ye cursed, into everlasting [G166, ‘aionios’, age lasting] fire, prepared for the devil and his angels:
Rev 20:10 And the devil that deceived them was cast into the lake of fire and brimstone, where the beast and the false prophet are, and shall be tormented day and night for ever and ever.
As hard as it is for the daughters of the great harlot to believe, Satan and his angels will also be reconciled to God via our ministry for Christ:
Col 1:19 For it pleased the Father that in him should all fulness dwell;
Col 1:20 And, having made peace through the blood of his cross, by him to reconcile all things unto himself; by him, I say, whether they be things in earth, or things in heaven.
In Romans 11 we are told when physical Israel will be “reconciled to God.” In that chapter we are informed “that blindness in part is happened to [physical] Israel, until the fulness of the Gentiles be come in.”
Rom 11:25 For I would not, brethren, that ye should be ignorant of this mystery, lest ye should be wise in your own conceits; that blindness in part is happened to Israel, until the fulness of the Gentiles be come in.
Rom 11:26 And so all Israel shall be saved: as it is written, There shall come out of Sion the Deliverer, and shall turn away ungodliness from Jacob:
Rom 11:27 For this is my covenant unto them, when I shall take away their sins.
Rom 11:28 As concerning the gospel, they [“Israel… according to the flesh] are enemies for your sakes: but as touching the election, they are beloved for the fathers’ sakes.
Rom 11:29 For the gifts and calling of God are without repentance.
Here now are some verses which have been hidden in plain sight from the day they were written until the day we are given to see them. These verses of scripture will almost always be avoided by those who teach that the thousand-year reign is a time when physical Israel will rule this earth, and that “during the millennium [mankind will] freely repent and believe the Gospel, personally choosing Christ as Savior and Lord.” These are the verses which give us the time table for when “the fulness of the Gentiles [is] come in, [and when] the gifts and callings of God are without repentance, [and therefore when] all [physical] Israel shall be saved” (Rom 11:26).
The timetable to which Paul refers in Romans 11 is given to us in Ezekiel 16. This entire chapter is addressed to “Jerusalem.”
We will pause this study at this point, and we will see exactly when “all Israel [after the flesh] shall be saved.” No, I am not saying I will give you a date. What I am saying is that the scriptures do give us the exact time line in which “the fulness of the Gentiles comes in and all Israel shall be saved”.
We will cover that timeline in our next study.
