Hi Mike
What are your thoughts on capital punishment? Or more importantly, what does the Bible say about this subject? With all the writings you have on line, I have not come across anything on that. I have read that we should not go to war and that we should love our enemies instead. What about the... [read more]

Hi Mike,
Your last response to me was very helpful concerning salvation not beginning until after Christ's death. There are two areas that are hard for me to harmonize into this view.

Hello Mike,
I enjoy reading your site and have learned from it. I do not know if you have covered this on your site, but in Matthew 22 Jesus refers to "a man" during the wedding parable. Is he referring to Satan?

We are in Mat 22 where Jesus is talking about the kingdom of heaven. All of the parables are about the kingdom of heaven. The kingdom of heaven is the theme of the entire Bible, from Gen 1:1 to Rev 22, through the last verse of that book. It is presented to begin with as a conflict bet... [read more]

Your preacher friend, like all orthodox Christians, has no use for Christ's words. Here is Christ:
Joh 3:13 And no man hath ascended up to heaven, but he that came down from heaven, even the Son of man which is in heaven.
Listen to your preacher friend and you will remain confused. Listen to Chris... [read more]

Hi. Mike,
My husband and I have a question. We have read the papers on free will. We are trying to come to a conclusion on the whole issue. We think we do and then we run across another verse that brings questions to mind. Here are several verses that we can't figure out.
