Is there a correlation between the Words that sweep away the refuge of lies and the mingling of faith?

Rev 8:7 The first angel sounded, and there followed hail and fire mingled with blood, and they were cast upon the earth: and the third part of trees was burnt up, and all green grass was burnt up.
Heb 4:2 For unto us was the gospel preached, as well as unto them: but the word preached did not profit them, not being mixed with faith in them that heard it.
Act 10:43 To him give all the prophets witness, that through his name whosoever believeth in him shall receive remission of sins.

Yes, indeed there is a correlation between the fire and the hail, both of which symbolize the Word of God and which “sweep away the refuge of lies”, and the fact that the Word of God when not “mixed with faith” actually becomes “the refuge of lies” and is twisted and wrested into lies, when it is not “mixed with faith”.

2Pe 3:16 As also in all his epistles, speaking in them of these things; in which are some things hard to be understood, which they that are unlearned and unstable wrest, as they do also the other scriptures, unto their own destruction.

“They that are unlearned and unstable” are those who are without faith and who “wrest” and twist the Word of God into the lies that must be “swept away” by the hail and the fire of God’s Word:

Isa 28:17 Judgment also will I lay to the line, and righteousness to the plummet: and the hail shall sweep away the refuge of lies, and the waters shall overflow the hiding place.
Jer 5:14 Wherefore thus saith the LORD God of hosts, Because ye speak this word, behold, I will make my words in thy mouth fire, and this people wood, and it shall devour them.
Heb 11:6 But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him.
