Is The Son Of Man A Worm?

Print Friendly, PDF & Email

Hi V____.
That is wonderful, and I would certainly would tell you if I thought you were mistaken in any verse you have dealt with here, but I agree with every word you have written simply because you have remained faithful to this verse of scripture:

Rev 1:8  I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the ending, saith the Lord, which is, and which was, and which is to come, the Almighty.

Christ cannot be the beginning and the ending without also being everything that gets you to the end.

Act 17:28  For in him we live, and move, and have our being; as certain also of your own poets have said, For we are also his offspring.

Is God our Father? Of course He is our heavenly Father. Christ said so many times, but that doesn’t mean that Christ is not also our Father and we “His offspring.”

Psa 22:30  A seed shall serve him; it shall be accounted to the Lord for a generation.
Isa 9:6  For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given: and the government shall be upon his shoulder: and his name shall be called Wonderful, Counsellor, The mighty God, The everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace.

So both Christ and His Father are our Fathers, simply because we are of both. God, through Christ, “creates light and darkness good and evil” men and all things. “All things are of God.”

Isa 45:7  I form the light, and create darkness: I make peace, and create evil: I the LORD do all these things.
2Co 5:18  And all things are of God, who hath reconciled us to himself by Jesus Christ, and hath given to us the ministry of reconciliation;

So thank you for taking the time to share with me the revelation of Jesus Christ God has given to you. It is an endless and unlimited revelation that will continue for a life time in these clay vessels.
I have just begun a series on the book of Revelation so it will be awhile before I will be doing anything else, but I agree with you that we need to understand that we are all, in this flesh, “the son of man… a red worm.”
It is a joy to see your growth in the revelation of Jesus Christ.
Your brother in the Christ,
Mike
