Those are words that God’s spirit has seen fit to use to keep you and me from seeing what he’s actually saying. But he tells us what he means by every single symbol in his word. Every parable in the word is explained elsewhere in the word, and you can know what those symbols mean. They’re all clearly defined. This is what it is, it’ll just come out and say it, and all you’ve got to do is be willing to take the time to look at the word of God. You’ve got to take time for the word of God. You’ve got to spend time with your husband, Jesus Christ, and your husband Jesus Christ is His word. Spend time in His word. Take of your time and give it to Him, because it’s really His. Is it not to deal your bread to the hungry? You know I could ask you, what is bread? Yeah, I know, you really do need to give people– don’t say, “Depart in peace, be warmed and filled” and not do anything for a person (Jas 2:16). But the real bread is what we’re talking about. Deal your bread to the hungry. Don’t learn these truths and then just keep them to yourself. Now I’ve got something to say about that too; I’m going to be talking about Tarsus here shortly. If you have no idea what Tarsus means, I hope to give you a new outlook on what Tarsus is before I get out of here. But right now we’re just talking about the things I have listed here, and we’ll get to the rest of it in our next talk.
Okay, now, the next question is, what is a Jew, and what is circumcision? Well, Rom 2:28, read yesterday:
Rom 2:28 He is not a Jew which is one outwardly.
The world doesn’t believe that; they don’t believe that. And you know what I mean when I say “the world.” You know what I mean when I say “earth.” The whole earth is deceived; the whole earth is being tormented by the words that come out of the mouth of the two witnesses (Rev 11). You say, “Well they’re not even aware you’re here.” That’s true, they’re not, not yet, but God has got the means to make the world aware of his word. He’s got the means of tormenting these very men. And I’m here to tell you, you just mark my word, maybe you can make me out a false prophet– I don’t think I have to worry about that or I wouldn’t be opening my mouth, but I’m telling you that Kenneth Copeland is going to eat those words. And I don’t have anything against Kenneth Copeland; I love him. He’s a charismatic individual, he’s the work of God’s hands, and I appreciate what he’s doing. Appreciate it for what it is, and it’s deception. He’s trying to suck me in, and I need to be able to resist these things. If I didn’t have him, and billions like him, I wouldn’t be here talking to you. So I’m grateful for what Kenneth Copeland is doing, love the man, but he’s going to eat those words. Those words are going to be words that he’s going to be so ashamed of someday that he will repent, and he’ll see his nakedness, and he’ll want that eye salve, and he’ll change. He’ll make a change one day, and I’m not saying it’s going to be in the lake of fire; I don’t know when God’s going to do it, but God will change Kenneth Copeland and bring him to see the things of the spirit, and see that the fullness of Christ has nothing to do with dollars. The fullness of Christ is actually hindered by dollars. Hindered! Here he is talking about the fullness of Christ and making it out to be dollars. Billions and trillions of them, if you want the fullness.
Rom 2:29 But he is a Jew which is one inwardly; and circumcision is that of the heart, in the spirit and not in the letter.
That’s your circumcision; that’s your Jew: in the heart, in the spirit, just like everything else.
What is death, and what is crucifixion? Is death Christ on the cross? Is crucifixion Christ on the cross? Is it when Christ said, “Into thy hand I commit my spirit” (Luk 23:46)? Is that death? Is that what you think of death? That’s what the whole Christian world thinks. Anybody here see The Passion? How many of you have seen The Passion of the Christ? Most of you have seen that. Is that what it’s all about? Is that Christ’s crucifixion? No, it’s not. You’ve got to fill up in your body that which is behind of the afflictions of Christ (Col 1:24).
And I had a minister tell me– I says, “What does that verse mean to you?” He had two other ministers, one on the right and one on the left, and I was just talking to him because he was the elder, and he says, “If you can explain that verse, you’re doing more than anyone in this room can do.” Room full of people. This guy was in his seventies and he’d been a minister all his life, and those were his words to such a critical verse of scripture. Just admitted he didn’t have a clue what that meant, and if I thought I could, I was just on an ego trip. You’ve got to know this guy to appreciate how he felt he had just shut me up. He had just shut me up, and he did because I realized at that very moment that I was wasting my time. This was at the end of a long and heated debate about whether we have anything to do in Christ or whether Christ did it all on the cross, and I realized right there that there was no getting through to these people, even though they are believers in universal reconciliation.
Universal reconciliation’s not the meat of the word! I hope you all know better than that. Paul didn’t teach eternal hell fire; he taught universal reconciliation, and yet he told the Corinthians that they were just on the milk (1Co 3:2). Universal reconciliation is very basic. That’s what Hebrews means when it says aionian judgment. That’s universal reconciliation. Heb 6. That’s universal reconciliation. You need to get way beyond that. You need to get to the meat of God’s word, which is Christ in you. Christ in you, and crucified in you, dying in you. That’s crucifixion and death.
Joh 12:24 Verily, verily, I say unto you, except a corn of wheat fall to the ground and die, it abides alone: but if it die, it brings forth much fruit.
Now you need to be careful to maintain good works. Be careful to maintain good works that you be not unfruitful (Tit 3:14). Because if you’re not bringing forth much fruit, and being fruitful, you haven’t died. And if you haven’t died, you’re not alive.
Now in the letter this all sounds like total contradiction, but the truth is, if you don’t see the things of the spirit, your whole doctrine is total contradiction. That’s the truth. The very people that point to me and say, “Mike you con[ tradict]”– I had a guy email me, and just reading his email, I can understand it completely. He says, “Mike, right here on your page, you say that when the disciples asked Christ, ‘What will be the sign of Your coming at the end of the age?’ (Mat 24:3) you say the word is aion there. [ And he’s talking about the end of this way of life, this system.] Then in your DVD you say age has nothing to do with the return of Christ. What gives, Mike? What gives?” And I can see that it looks like a total contradiction, but the truth is that if you see age– the word aion– as just the passing of time, and you don’t see it as the life– it’s the life that is being discussed, what happens and what is done with that life as the age– then you don’t see the spiritual meaning of the word “age.” There is an outward and there is an inward, and the Bible is full of such apparent contradictions. I gave you the example yesterday of the beast that was, and is not, and yet is (Rev 17:8).
If you cannot see the things of the spirit, then there is no hope of ever understanding such a contradictory statement. The beast was, and is not, and yet is. That’s as contradictory as you can get. And to say, “I’m going to give them bread from heaven” (Exo 16:4) and then turn right around out of the same mouth and say, “That’s not bread from heaven” (Joh 6:32) is as contradictory as you can get. That’s why I say all that I’m saying here pivots on Joh 6:32 and 33. But read that whole sixth chapter of John. It’s all about bread from heaven and how the things of the spirit– because it’s also Joh 6 that says the flesh profits nothing (Joh 6:33). “The flesh profits nothing. The words that I speak unto you, they are spirit and they are life.” The flesh profits nothing. The letter profits nothing. The carnal mind profits nothing. But the words that I speak to you are spirit. And if you don’t know what spiritual words are, you can’t understand the word, because they are not men’s wisdom (1Co 2:13). They’re hidden.
Joh 12:25 He that loves his life will lose it, but he that hates his life in this world will keep it unto life eternal.
That, right there, is a contradiction. If you lose your life you’ll find it; if you find it you’ll lose it. But it’s only a contradiction if you think it’s talking about physical life. If you think physical, if you can’t break loose of the things of the letter, of physical things, if you can’t make that break, you will never ever understand the things of the spirit. They are not the letters of the alphabet.
Gal 2:20 I am crucified with Christ, nevertheless I live. [ Another contradiction. I’m crucified, but I live.] Yet not I, but Christ lives in me, and the life which I now live in the flesh, I live by the faith of the Son of God who loved me and gave Himself for me.
Because we’re living in the spirit now. We’ll never die, never die. Never die? Isn’t that what Christ said? You drink of this water and you’ll never die (Joh 4:14). But I don’t see the woman at the well walking around today. See what I mean? If you don’t see the things of the spirit, you do not understand the word of God. You’ve got to see beyond the letter.
What are the signs that Christ gives us to know Him?
Mat 11:2 Now when John had heard in the prison the works of Christ, he sent two of his disciples,
Mat 11:3 and said unto Him, “Are you He who should come, or do we look for another?”
Now, we’re going to get into some really hard to grasp things right here right now. Hard to understand. The things of the spirit are hidden, and we’re about to get into some really hidden stuff here. But when you see something emphasized in the harlot, you need to really become wary. I’m not saying that anything they say and everything they say is proof that it’s wrong. That’s no way to think. I mean, I remember in the Worldwide Church of God, we said, “Well if the Catholics believe it and teach it, it’s got to be wrong.” That’s no way to think. You need to have the word of God telling you what’s right and wrong. But it’s a generally true statement that if Catholicism believes it, it probably is wrong. That’s a very good way to think, because Catholicism is the mother of harlots, and the mother of harlots has a mother, known as Judaism, so that just like Ishmael was the rejected seed before Esau came along, and Cain was the rejected seed before Ishmael came along, and so on, Israel is the rejected seed since Christ came along. But now we have a rejected Christian religion, and this is mystery Babylon the great, the mother of harlots.
Mat 11:4 Jesus answered and said unto them, [ these are people asking about are you the true Christ, John’s two disciples] “Go and show John again those things which you do hear and see.”
Now what did Christ say to Thomas, on the other hand? Let me finish what I’m saying here.
Mat 11:5 The blind receive their sight, and the lame walk, the lepers are cleansed, and the deaf hear, the dead are raised, and the poor have the gospel preached to them.”
These things right here are what TBN just really takes credit for. This is what we’re getting done right here. The blind receive their sight, the lame walk, lepers are cleansed, the deaf hear, and the dead are raised up again and the poor have the gospel preached to them. Did you not know the dead were being raised by the ministers on TBN? You didn’t know that? Did you not know that people are being healed of their diseases by the thousands all over the world by the ministers on TBN? Well then if you’re not aware of that, you’re not listening to TBN, because they talk about it all the time. Benny Hinn has raised people from the dead, so he claims. They’ve never been able to verify it, but he talks about it all the time. And some of the miracles that he claims apparently have actually happened, at least one. I don’t know if you saw the series or not by Stone Phillips on the miracles of Benny Hinn. Benny Hinn received his __ from– according to Paul Crouch– from Kathryn Kuhlman. She passed on her healing powers and her ministry to Benny Hinn. And Kathryn was having great miracles. You just walked into Kathryn’s tent and you were going to have a miracle. You were going to be healed or something great was going to happen to you because you came expecting a miracle, and the miracle always had to do with something physical. Miracles aren’t spiritual, you know? “Everything to you is just spiritual, isn’t it?” And so Kathryn and Benny, they’ve got the crowds. As Joyce Meyer says, she was talking about “sell all you have and give to the poor” (Mat 19:21), she quoted that scripture, and she says, “I am so tired of hearing that. I’m just so tired of hearing that.”
Pat Brown brought the clip down and we watched it, and it was just hard to believe that these words would come out of her mouth, because they came out of Jesus Christ’s mouth. “Sell all you have and give to the poor.” She didn’t try to explain it or anything; her way of explaining it was that God took away everything that Job had and gave it back to him. God didn’t ask Job to sell what he had and give to the poor; he took it away from him. There’s no correlation there whatsoever. But you’ve got to have some way of justifying contradicting Jesus Christ, and that’s the way it is, because everything is physical to these people. It’s all physical, and so what she said was, “You see this ring right here?” In a huge auditorium she says, “I bet you people up in the balcony can see it.” She says, “I’ve been sloughing these roads for Christ for 25 years. I think it’s time that I started receiving some blessings for what I’ve done for Jesus Christ.”
You know, I have nothing against Joyce Meyer, she’s like all the rest of God’s angels that appear as light but are really the ministers of Satan. She is a minister of Satan, and her doctrine is deception. And to her all of the blessings and promises in Jesus Christ are “yea, yea” for the things of this world, for material blessings– they’re all material, and the spirit means nothing whatsoever to these people. Less than useless. But of course, the truth is that when Christ talks about blessings, He’s talking about the things of the spirit. He is not talking about– let me read it again.
Mat 11:5 The blind receive their sight, and the lame walk, lepers are cleansed, and the deaf hear, the dead are raised up, and the poor have the gospel preached to them.
Those are types and shadows, yes they are, they’re types and shadows. And if all you can see is what Christ did outwardly, when he says specifically that the bread is not the bread, and the withered hand is not the withered hand, and the restored limbs of the legs are not the legs, and the restored sight of the eyes is not the sight, that this is all type and shadow, if you can’t see that, then you don’t know what Christ is actually talking about, because it’s hidden. He spoke to the multitudes in parables; without a parable he spoke not unto them (Mat 13:34). This is a parable. He’s talking to the people that saw Him break bread. This all revolves around Joh 6:32 and 33. They saw this miracle. It says they saw it. When they saw the miracle, they followed Him across the sea. They saw what He did. They saw His works. And He says to Thomas, “You believe because you’ve seen” (Joh 20:29). That’s what the people did. That’s what all the apostles did. They didn’t believe Christ was raised from the dead until they saw Him. Thomas just was the last one. Peter didn’t believe it. Mary said, “The Lord is risen.” You know why she said it? She’d seen Him! She’d seen Him (Mar 16:9-11; Luk 24:10-11; Joh 20:18). Peter said, “I don’t believe it. Let’s go down there and see.” He and John take off, and sure enough the tomb was empty, but they hadn’t seen Him yet (Luk 24:12).
They still didn’t believe. Not one of them believed until they saw Him, and so for our benefit Thomas is picked to be the one that makes a point. “Thomas, you believe because you saw.” But who is it that’s blessed? Who is it that’s really blessed? “But blessed is he who believes though he has not seen” (Joh 20:29). You say, “I wish I could have lived in the days of the apostles.” Listen, if the apostles had just believed because they saw, they would have been worse off than you today. But you see, later on their faith was tested. Their faith was tested because Christ was received up into heaven out of their sight (Mar 16:19; Luk 24:51). Out of their sight. He wasn’t seen anymore after that. I mean His physical body. He appeared in a physical body (Luk 24:39). You and I are going to be in physical bodies during the millennium. We will be like Christ (1Jn 3:2). Christ can appear physical when He is spiritual. You cannot be a spirit and walk through walls while you’re flesh. You’ve got to become spirit before you can do that.
And that’s what will be happening during the millennium. The people of God will be seen and they will rule this world, and it’ll be just like Christ from Pentecost to the last time they saw Him, but He hasn’t been seen since then, and yet you believe on Him, Lord willing, though you haven’t seen. Now that is a blessed position to be in. Blessed are the poor in heart (Mat 5:3). The humble, to whom nothing has any value whatsoever but Jesus Christ and Him crucified in me, filling up in me that which is behind of the afflictions of Christ (Col 1:24). If those things mean something to you, then you’re better off than the apostles who stood right there and the people who stood right there and watched Christ break bread and heal people of physical ailments, because the things that are not seen are of so much more value than the things that are seen. There is no comparison.
Mar 16:17 And these signs shall follow them that believe: in My name shall they cast out devils; they shall speak with new tongues;
Mar 16:18 they shall take up serpents; and if they drink any deadly thing, it shall not hurt them; they shall lay hands on the sick, and they shall recover.
Mar 16:19 So then after the Lord had spoken unto them, he was received up into heaven, and sat on the right hand of God.
Mar 16:20 And they went forth, and preached everywhere, the Lord working with them, and confirming the word with signs following.
There you go; there it is. You read it. I read it to you. Where are my signs? They’ve got them; I don’t. They’ve got people being blessed by the millions because they’re planting a seed when they have a need. Here I am; I don’t have it. What’s going on? Why is it that they have healings, they have money, they have big crowds, and I don’t have any of that? Well Jesus Christ explains that, and you’ve got to have ears to hear Him, but He tells us– He didn’t say, “These signs shall follow the elect.”
He didn’t say that! No. He’s talking about and to those Jews that believed on Him who want to kill Him! That’s who He’s talking about here, and you thought this is what you ought to be looking for! This is going to prove– the gifts are going to prove who are God’s elect. That’s not what Christ taught; that’s not what anybody taught. This is a sign, and an evil– these are Jesus Christ’s words too–“and an evil and adulterous generation seeks after a sign” (Mat 12:39, 16:4). Adulterous doesn’t mean adultery. It means that they believe in false doctrines and they’re in bed with the serpent and his lies. That’s an evil and adulterous generation, and they are looking for the signs, and there will no sign be given. So I feel like I’m in pretty good shape, because the only sign that will be given is for the Son of Man to be three days and three nights in the heart of the earth (Mat 12:40).
In other words, for Him to die. Now I’ve got that sign, because I know that I’m not the man I used to be, and it’s nothing that I’ve done. But the Mike Vinson that stands before you today is the exact opposite of the Mike Vinson of just 10, 12 years ago. Mike Vinson, who was really working hard to be somebody in this world, wanted to get that first billion. I was thinking more like million, but I hadn’t learned to think big. But I wanted the things of this world. I read that scripture, a wise man leaves an inheritance to his children and his children’s children (Pro 13:22), and I wanted to leave something to my children and my children’s children. I wanted to be a wise man. If all you see is the letter, I’m telling you, it’s just not possible to please God. It’s not possible to please God with the carnal mind. You’ve got to see beyond the things that are before your eyes and that is especially true when it comes to the letters of the word of God. They went forth– let me read that again.
Mar 16:17 And these signs shall follow them that believe: in My name shall the cast out devils; they shall speak with new tongues;
Mar 16:18 they shall take up serpents; and if they drink any deadly thing, it shall not hurt them; they shall lay hands on the sick, and they shall recover.
Mar 16:20 And they went forth, and preached everywhere, the Lord working with them, and confirming the word with signs following.
I mean that just– you talk about strong delusion. You’ve got to take the sum of God’s word to even hope to see beyond these letters here. You’ve got to be aware that the sum of his word is truth (Joh 17:17) to even hope to see what’s being said here. These are the signs that follow them that believe, and those that believe want to kill Him! How many people are even aware that Joh 8 says he said unto those Jews that believed on Him, “I know you’re Abraham’s seed, but you’re the seed of the serpent.” How many people realize that He says, “You believe on Me and you want to kill Me.” People can’t see that. They can’t see.
1Co 1:1 Paul, called to be an apostle of Jesus Christ through the will of God, and Sosthenes our brother,
1Co 1:2 Unto the church of God which is at Corinth, to them that are sanctified in Christ Jesus, called to be saints…
1Co 1:7 com[ ing] behind in no gift
Signs following, confirming the– preaching the gospel with signs, bringing billions of people to Christ. How many people can see that in the third chapter of that same book, talking to those same people, just like Christ talking to the Jews that believed in Him, Paul tells them, though you came behind in no gift, though you were able to heal the sick and cast out demons, you are yet carnal, because you say, “I’m of Paul;” “I’m of Apollos” (v. 3-4). “I’m a Baptist;” “I’m a Methodist;” “I’m a Catholic;” “I’m a Protestant.” Any such boasting is vain, and if you’ve got the eyes to see it, it’s as clear as glass that these are those who “will say to Me in that day, ‘Haven’t I done these things? Haven’t I don’t just what it said in Mar 16? Haven’t I?’ ” (Mat 7:22) And he doesn’t deny it, because it’s true.
These signs follow them that believe. And it’s them that believe that deceive and are deceived. You say, “Well what about the elect? Don’t they believe?” Of course they believe, but they see the whole of God’s word. They don’t get hung up on gifts and use gifts as proof of who God’s ministers are, of who the elect are. The elect are not interested in gifts; they’re interested in fruit. Be careful to maintain good works that you be not unfruitful (Tit 3:14). Being unfruitful has nothing to do with gifts. Gifts are toys for children. You give gifts to children. You give trials and tests and provings to your children as they get older. You see how much they can do. They study hard; they try to get good grades to improve themselves. They’re not thinking of gifts as they mature. Those who think of gifts, who dwell on gifts, who talk about healings and casting out demons, are babes in Christ, yet carnal, coming behind in no gift. Now how clear can it be?
If your method for trying the spirits is to see how many people I have brought to Christ, you don’t know how to try the spirits. But you need to know how to try the spirits, try the spirits– why? Why do we need to try the spirits? Because many false prophets have gone forth into the world (1Jn 4:1). That’s the reason you try the spirits. You try the spirits because many false prophets have gone forth into the world. And they are teaching false doctrine. That’s what a spirit is. A spirit is a doctrine. If you want to cast out a demon, you just show someone the truth of God’s word. If you can show someone that God is love instead of a monster who will torment people in flames for all eternity, and convince that person of that, you have pulled them out of the fire and touched not the unclean garment, like Jude says (v. 23). That is casting out a demon. That is giving a dead person life. That is healing a person of leprosy. That is giving a person the ability to walk where he couldn’t walk, to see where he couldn’t see, and to use his hands where he couldn’t use them before. You’ve done greater things than Christ ever did.
Right at the end of the the book of John, the last verse, it says if all the things that Christ did were written down in a book– you see it says time and again “and He healed their sick”, “and He healed all of their sick”, “and He healed their sick” “and He healed them”, “they came to Him and He healed them”, it says that time and again– and John sums it up at the end of his book, and he says if all of the things that He did were written down in a book, the world couldn’t contain the books. Ray points out the fact that Hollywood never shows Christ the way He really was. According to the scriptures, abundantly clear, is He was thronged everywhere He went. He was thronged, not with people who wanted to die to the flesh; they wanted to be healed. “Lord, that I might receive my sight, that I might get my ability to walk back, my hand back”– whatever it is.
They weren’t thinking mature thoughts of dying to the things of the flesh. They just wanted their flesh healed. We all want our flesh healed. Very few of us even think about having our spirit healed. Very few of us are able to think and reach out beyond the things of the flesh. Kenneth Copeland has not gotten that, that’s for certain, but he has bigger crowds than I’ll ever have. He has bigger buildings, more possessions than I’ll ever have in this life. But I wouldn’t trade places with him for all of his money– his billions as he’s claiming there, and I suppose maybe he’s telling the truth. I wouldn’t trade places with him for the world. I’m thankful that I’m right here talking to you. I’m thankful that God has given me the ability to see the things he’s given me to see, and I appreciate what God has given me, and I wouldn’t trade what I have for what he and Creflo and all the rest of them put together have.
So the things of the spirit are not seen. They’re simply given to you. You’re given eyes to see and ears to hear. And until that is given to you, there’s no hope of you being able to just dig it up.
Now, there’s some of you here that I met just at this meeting, quite a few of you, most of you as a matter of fact, and I get asked all the time, “How can I study my Bible? How can I get into it and just study it on my own?” because Deborah was asking me earlier this morning, or was telling me, not asking me, she was telling me, she says, “You know, God had witnessed all of this”– and you all tell me the same thing–“God had witnessed all of this to my spirit before I ever came to the web page. I knew there was something wrong already. I knew that the things I was hearing in church were wrong.” You see, it’s God’s spirit that’s working; it’s not Mike Vinson. It’s the spirit of God that is working, and we’re simply used to confirm what God’s spirit has opened your eyes to see before you ever became aware of the web site. But the web site has its place. God has given me the ability to teach, and teachers confirm to you what the spirit has already told you. That’s their function. They confirm with the word of God, like the Ethiopian eunuch said to Philip, “How can I know except some man teach me?” (Act 8:31) Teachers have their place, but you don’t fall down and worship the angel. Angels are messengers; teachers are messengers; prophets are messengers. There are different kinds of offices of messengers, but office has nothing to do with authority over people; it has to do with service. And our office is to teach you and show you what’s actually in the Bible. That’s what God has gifted us to do: to share his word with you, and to point you to what’s already there, what he has already told you was there. You know it’s in there; you just haven’t seen where it is yet. That’s the way it worked with me.
I remember clearly being told the first time, “As in Adam all die, so in Christ will all be made alive” (1Co 15:22). That was about the very first scripture I ever heard that had to do with universal reconciliation, and that just meant that I was about to get my first taste of milk. See, everything I had before that was just poison. Just poison. But the milk was about to get started, and then I could go from that to these deeper things that God has opened my eyes to see and he’s opening your eyes to see. But you have to start somewhere, and God uses teachers to do that. So that’s what we’re here for: just to share the things that God has given us with you. And you’ve come a long way to be here. We’ve all taken out of our time and lives to get to come here and to be with each other, and I hope that what we’ve said, what we’re doing here has been worth the time you’ve taken to come here. I hope that the things that you’ve seen and are going to hear this morning have been worth the time that you’ve taken to come, because I wouldn’t want to waste your time, but I don’t believe I have. I think I have given you the ability to see some of the things– not I have given it to you, but I have helped you to see some of the things of the spirit that God is giving you.
But– Young is all I can remember, I can’t remember your first names– she asked me, “What do I need to study the word of God?” And for those of you who don’t know about it, you can download e- sword off of my site. That’s what I would suggest you do, because it’s the cheapest thing to do, or you can get a Wigram’s concordance if you don’t have a computer, and you can begin to see what the word of God really says, because those two instruments– and e- sword is based upon Wigram’s, it’s just an electronic format for what you’ll find in Wigram’s– and Wigram’s was done 150, 200 years ago, it’s been around all these years– George V. Wigram’s Englishman’s Hebrew Concordance, Englishman’s Greek Concordance. Two volumes, you need them both. And you’ll be able to see for the first time in your life what the Bible actually says. You don’t have to believe me; you just go and read the entries for that Hebrew word, they’re all there, everywhere that word olam appears, it’s right there in front of your eyes. Everywhere that word aion appears, it’s right there in front of your eyes, without all the twisting of the councils and the creed- makers of the past to make it say what they want it to say. You read all the entries of this word aion, 165– aionian Isa 166– the different words that God will put in your mind to have questions about will be right there in front of you– you just read the entries, and the Holy Spirit of God will tell you what that word means, because you can see how it’s used in all of its entries. Do that. Get to know Jesus Christ. This is life eternal: to know God and Jesus Christ whom he has sent. The flesh profits nothing. The words that I speak to you, they are spirit and they are life.
Well, I thank you all for coming, and I hope to see all of you again the next time we get together. It seems so rare for people to come back for some reason, but I hope that some of you will be back. And each time we have a conference the core group grows. That’s just the way it’s working. I don’t know how many people we have here today and it doesn’t really matter, but God is doing his work and he’s doing it in his time, and I’m thankful to be a part of it. I’m thankful you’re here, and I appreciate every one of you, I love every one of you, and I hope that I’ve been able to be of some service to you.
