How Can We Discern The Spirit of Someone who Claims to Have the Gift of Healing?

[Posted July 1, 2024]

Hi B____,

Thank you for your patience and for your question.

You ask:

I clicked on that link, and at the top of the home page in large letters I saw the words ‘reiki‘ and ‘tarot‘. Both are doctrines of demons which take our eyes off of Christ and put our attention and trust in ourselves and in a vague ‘life force’.

Here is also another proof positive of the total lack of respect for the words of the Lord expressed throughout this website:

“40 min session – £60
“Or you can buy a package of 3 sessions for £170” (End Quote)

Can you even imagine Christ saying such a thing to any blind, lame, leprous, or epileptic seeking His mercies??? I certainly cannot, and I have no problem discerning the demonic influence of this website.

Healings and miracles must never be conflated with truth and obedience to Christ’s doctrines. Christ’s doctrine concerning healing or anything else is not “40 min session – £60, Or you can buy a package of 3 sessions for £170” (End Quote)

In stark contrast, this is Christ’s doctrine concerning everything He had to offer mankind:

Mat 10:8  Heal the sick, cleanse the lepers, raise the dead, cast out devils: freely ye have received, freely give.

The fact is that the scriptures actually warn us that healings and miracles are two of the methods by which the Lord sends His “strong delusion” upon this world:

2Th 2:8  And then shall that Wicked be revealed, whom the Lord shall consume with the spirit of his mouth, and shall destroy with the brightness of his coming:
2Th 2:9  Even him, whose coming is after the working of Satan with all power and signs and lying wonders,
2Th 2:10  And with all deceivableness of unrighteousness in them that perish; because they received not the love of the truth, that they might be saved.
2Th 2:11  And for this cause God shall send them strong delusion, that they should believe a lie:
2Th 2:12  That they all might be damned who believed not the truth, but had pleasure in unrighteousness.

The “delusion” with which the Lord is deceiving this world is not called ‘weak delusion’. It is called “strong delusion” because when the Lord “deceives that prophet” His “strong delusion” is irresistible for those who are not firmly grounded upon “The Rock” and upon His doctrines. Those who are given to love healings and miracles more than obedience to the Lord’s doctrines will hear these words when they are resurrected from the dead at the great white throne judgment:

Mat 7:21  Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven. [“… freely give” (Mat 10:8)]
Mat 7:22  Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? and in thy name have cast out devils? and in thy name done many wonderful works? [Healings and miracles (Rev 13:11-15)]
Mat 7:23  And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity.

Christ does not contradict the claims of these apostates. He simply replies, “depart from Me, ye that work iniquity.”

So once again I repeat: healings and miracles are never to be conflated with Truth and obedience. Healings and miracles happen to both be mentioned as the very means by which the Lord is deceiving the masses and multitudes who come to Him:

Rev 13:2  And the beast which I saw was like unto a leopard, and his feet were as the feet of a bear, and his mouth as the mouth of a lion: and the dragon gave him his power, and his seat, and great authority.
Rev 13:3  And I saw one of his heads as it were wounded to death; and his deadly wound was healed: and all the world wondered after the beast.

Rev 13:11  And I beheld another beast coming up out of the earth; and he had two horns like a lamb [He could heal and perform miracles, but…], and he spake as a dragon… [“40 min session – £60, Or you can buy a package of 3 sessions for £170” (End Quote)]
Rev 13:12  And he exerciseth all the power of the first beast before him, and causeth the earth and them which dwell therein to worship the first beast, whose deadly wound was healed.
Rev 13:13  And he doeth great wonders, so that he maketh fire come down from heaven on the earth in the sight of men,
Rev 13:14  And deceiveth them that dwell on the earth by the means of those miracles which he had power to do in the sight of the beast; saying to them that dwell on the earth, that they should make an image to the beast, which had the wound by a sword, and did live.
Rev 13:15  And he had power to give life unto the image of the beast, that the image of the beast should both speak, and cause that as many as would not worship the image of the beast should be killed.

This is not speaking of fake miracles. These are real miracles which the Lord uses to try our faith in His Words and whether we will be faithful to His doctrines:

Eze 14:9  And if the prophet be deceived when he hath spoken a thing, I the LORD have deceived that prophet, [with “strong delusion” (2Th 2:11)] and I will stretch out my hand upon him, and will destroy him from the midst of my people Israel.
Eze 14:10  And they shall bear the punishment of their iniquity: the punishment of the prophet shall be even as the punishment of him that seeketh unto him [or her];

I hope these very clear scriptures help you to see what a false prophet this woman is. This entire website is nothing more than deceitful New Age doctrine to be avoided like the plague.

Your brother who struggles with you, Mike
