Christ In The Father From The Beginning?
Hi Mike,
What do I think? My grandfather used to say that “hell” will be what we make it by our mouths and actions. Based on what I see in this parable, grandpa was pretty close. The master judged the servant based on his acting out of fear and what was said out of his mouth.
That brings up another question. How many serve God out of fear of hell and punishment rather than wishing to please the Master? Some will not discuss the trinity with me, because they say, we are “treading on dangerous ground” when speaking about who God is. It seems to be a primary question for all believers, if you ask me, and fear of retaliation from God prevents them. That kind of fear paralyzes, and nothing new can be learned.
I had a revelation a moment ago and need to share it.
Exo 3:2-4 KJVA
- And the angel of the LORD appeared unto him in a flame of fire out of the midst of a bush: and he looked, and, behold, the bush burned with fire, and the bush was not consumed.
- And Moses said, I will now turn aside, and see this great sight, why the bush is not burnt.
- And when the LORD saw that he turned aside to see, God called unto him out of the midst of the bush, and said, Moses, Moses. And he said, Here am I.
- Verse 2 – The angel of the LORD in Hebrew is roughly “messenger Jehovah” or similar.
- Verse 4 – LORD is “Jehovah”, God is “Elohiym or Elohim”.
“Elohiym” is plural of “eloah” (deity). So the “messenger of Jehovah” appears in the fire, Moses looks and “Jehovah” sees him looking, and “Elohiym” (plural for the messenger [ Christ the speaker] and the invisible Father [ in the flame with Him]) speaks to Moses.
Am I crazy? It looks to me like the reason Elohiym is plural is because the Father and the Son were present in the flame of the fire.
Let me know what you think.

Hi P____,
I have been so blessed to be given your fellowship.
You are right on in your understanding of what you see here in Exo 3. As a matter of fact, I can give you a scripture that says exactly that:
Joh 14:10 Believest thou not that I am in the Father, and the Father in me? the words that I speak unto you I speak not of myself: but the Father that dwelleth in me, he doeth the works.
Joh 14:11 Believe me that I am in the Father, and the Father in me: or else believe me for the very works’ sake.
There is nothing in this e- mail that would suggest your conclusion is crazy.
I have just written a letter in which I believe God has revealed to me how He will deal with those who are cast into the lake of fire. They will be spirits (1Co 15:44), but like Satan, they will still be in need of some chastening and purging.
Christ tells us exactly how those in the lake of fire will be judged in:
Luk 19:22 And he saith unto him, Out of thine own mouth will I judge thee, thou wicked servant. Thou knewest that I was an austere man, taking up that I laid not down, and reaping that I did not sow:
Does God really “take up that I laid not down, and reaping that I did not sow?” Of course not. He has sown the entire “field,” the world.
Mat 13:38 The field is the world; the good seed are the children of the kingdom; but the tares are the children of the wicked one;
Is this not exactly what Joseph’s brothers thought of Him? Joseph was not anxiously waiting for his father to die so he could get his revenge, but that was exactly what his brothers would have done had they been in Joseph’s shoes, so they were being tormented by their own sinful thoughts. And here is what we are told about how God will deal with those in the lake of fire, if we can agree that those who are there are for the most part “impure and froward.”
Psa 18:25 With the merciful thou wilt shew thyself merciful; with an upright man thou wilt shew thyself upright;
Psa 18:26 With the pure thou wilt shew thyself pure; and with the froward thou wilt shew thyself froward. [ In the lake of fire especially]
Let me know what you think.
Mike
