Mike,
A couple years ago the bible and the Word of the Lord was cryptic and largely unknown to me. I began a year ago, after a severe chastisement from God, to study to show myself approved. I was frankly intimidated by the bible. I concentrated on the New Testament. One thing t... [read more]

Hi Mr. Vinson,
I am a loyal reader of your site. I read your commentary about serving in the military and about voting, but I didn't see anything about jury duty. I get these jury summons about once a year, and my feelings are that I should judge no man.
Are there any Scriptures concerning this matt... [read more]

Hello Mr. Vinson,
First of all thank you for your site. I have been reading IWWB and like minded material for some time now and it has opened the scriptures to me. It has been wonderful learning all these truths and I have gained some perspective.
Is it good for a Christian to volunteer with Pe... [read more]

Mike,
I have been meditating for a long time on the wrath of God. If I remember correctly, you say we all experience God's wrath and the nonelect experience it in the Lake of Fire. I believe we all experience the same thing, but the difference may be in the knowing. There are so many verses about kn... [read more]

Hi Mike,
I would also like to know if you can point me to an explanation of Jdg 19. I am having trouble with that one. I see that this is what happens when there is no Christ (king) in us (the land), but the meaning of the concubine being raped and her division into 12 parts is confusing. I also am ... [read more]

Mike,
I was pondering over Joh 21:15-17 and seeking understanding on why the switch Jesus made after using agape two times, he ends using phileo.
In the KJV the last two say "feed my sheep", but I noticed the following switch in Young's Literal Translation.
Joh 21:15 When, therefore, t... [read more]

Mike,
Please read this and give your opinion about the subject matter involved. Your knowledge of the OT is vastly superior to mine, but the verses and interpretation of the NT verses in relation to the OT verses seems to hold water. It is interesting. I will look forward to your opinion on the mat... [read more]

Mike,
Nice to hear from you. I just think this guy made a valid point concerning the house of Israel and the house of Judah. I know about spiritual Israel. I know being in the body of Christ places me and you in the commonwealth of Israel, but just because that is true does not eliminate the disti... [read more]

Hi Mike,
I have a question? Reading "The tempting of mankind" I found this sentence: The dust spoken of in Genesis is "the spirit that dwelleth in us which lusteth to envy" (Jas 4:5).
Can you please tell me where you found this translation, because when I read KJV or the Dutch most used transl... [read more]

Mike,
I was sent an article on loving God and free will. Interesting. The Reformers used to teach four stages of man's will – and that seems to clear up most of the discussion for those who can't accept scripture.
Stage 1 – Pre- Fall – Adam and Eve - fully able to love God. T... [read more]

Hi Mike,
Here is the story about the way we met the people who also do not believe in a hell doctrine and who do believe that our Father will be All in All:
Twenty years ago the Lord called me. The Lord opened my eyes beginning June this year. Circumstances were that I broke my collarbone and while ... [read more]
