What Can Be Gleaned from The Song of Solomon’s KJV Headings?

Remember, even though the Song of Solomon is the holy spirit’s inspiration, penned by Solomon, it is a male’s perspective, most eminently, Christ’s, whom Solomon signifies for precisely how he will have his Bride respond to him, whom she has learned to honour and respect with enthusiastic ministrations.

Job 23:13 But he is in one mind, and who can turn him? and what his soul desireth, even that he doeth.
Job 23:14 For he performeth the thing that is appointed for me [The Bride!]: and many such things are with him.

Here are the KJV’s theme headings in the SoS and what they present:

Final Advice: It is Solomon’s final statement of certainty, capitulating unresolvedly for his Shulamite creation, whom no man is worthy of marrying (Ecc 7:29), since they all, and generalized by women’s innate machinations, are not worthy of her. Hence, his excruciating realization that he needs to reproduce all that he has conceived in the first seven chapters of the Song of Solomon in a brand new creation, one pure from birth, signified ‘without breasts’, trained and imprinted on his intellect, wisdom and knowledge emblematic of Christ’s spirit.

Eph 1:7 In whom we have redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of sins, according to the riches of his grace;
Eph 1:8 Wherein he hath abounded toward us in all wisdom and prudence;
Eph 1:9 Having made known unto us the mystery of his will, according to his good pleasure which he hath purposed in himself: 

Below are the potentially certifiable meanings of the numbers the KJV deemed necessary in the theme headings listed above: 

The Bride’s Devotion is Mentioned Seven Times.

It always represents the Completion of a process, the complete thing, and especially judgment. The number 7, as with all the meanings of numbers, doesn’t have to be literally seven of a thing; it can be both a number and the meaning of the completion of an event. 

Rom 11:4 But what saith the answer of God unto him? I have reserved to myself seven thousand men, who have not bowed the knee to the image of Baal. 

Unity of spirit is mentioned three times.

Three, or thirds, is the process of spiritual progression toward the completion of judgment. Typically, and in Revelation, when a third is mentioned in relation to things being killed, it refers to the process! Anything to do with the number three concerns the process of a particular matter. The number three signifies our process of spiritual progression towards maturity. It is only on the third day that we are being perfected: 

Luke 13:32 And he said unto them, Go ye, and tell that fox, Behold, I cast out devils, and I do cures to day and to morrow, and the third day I shall be perfected.

The Bridegroom’s Majesty is mentioned once. 

1 equals Unity. One is a number so critically apt for Solomon’s Shulamite Bride, typifying Christ’s one virtuous Bride.

The Groom’s Devotion once. Son 4:9 Thou hast ravished my heart, my sister, my spouse; thou hast ravished my heart with one of thine eyes, with one chain of thy neck. 

Interestingly, all numbers add up to twelve.

Twelve is the number of foundations. The number of Christ and the Body of Christ. The altar before this temple is twelve cubits by twelve cubits. The Day of the Lord is symbolized by 12 hours. Symbolized in ancient times, we can only work in daylight; a twelve-hour day, so to speak, for no man can work when it is dark in our lives. Twelve is the foundational number of the house of God (Rev 21:16). This twelve-by-twelve altar is Christ. Those who are “crucified with Christ” (Gal 2:20). The true meaning of the house and altar is the Lord’s firstfruit elect, who, with Christ, are the altar of God where all His sacrifices are offered. Notice closely this incredible revelation about what constitutes the true temple and house of God:

1Co 3:16 Know ye not that ye are the temple of God, and that the Spirit of God dwelleth in you? 

From that analysis, the spiritual mind is startled by the meaning of every figure! Figure 1 represents Christ’s supremacy as King of kings and head of His Wife, unified as One, and Figure 3 represents her progressive recreation to completion. Any added combinations are equally significant. All add up to 12—the number of foundations, the number of Christ, and the Body of Christ. The altar before this temple is twelve cubits by twelve cubits. 

7+1=8, the seventh is of the eighth.

7+3=1, the completeness of the flesh recreated in spirit.

7+1+1=9, the number of God’s judgment. The number for pregnancy; she is being reborn in spirit.

7+3+1+1=12, the number of Christ, his Wife and 10 new spiritual children as one in the Father; the Day of the Lord and measurement of the Altar.
