Till The Seven Plagues Are Fulfilled
Good morning my brother and Dearest Friend,
If anyone in this world needs to offer sacrifice to the Lord, I do. In that regard I began reading Leviticus (after reading your papers on the “offerings”). I must say that chapter 10 is full of surprises: 1) vs 1 Nadab and Abihu offered profane fire – 2Co 11:4 another Jesus?
2) vs 6 … the burning which the Lord has kindled – 1Pe 4:17 that judgment begin in the house of God?
3) vs 16 – 20 What is the significance of this?
vs 16: Then Moses diligently made inquiry about the goat of the sin offering and there it was, burnt up. And he was angry with Eleazar and Ithamar… saying…vs 17: Why have you not eaten the sin offering in a holy place since it is most holy and God has given it to you to bear the guilt of the congregation, to make atonement for them before the Lord…vs 18: See! Its blood was not brought inside the holy place, indeed you should have eaten it in a holy place, as I commanded…vs 19: And Aaron said to Moses, Look this day they have offered their sin offering and their burnt offering before the Lord and such things have befallen me. If I had eaten the sin offering today, would it have been accepted in the sight of the Lord? vs 20: So when Moses heard, he was content.Whenever you have the time, A____
Hi A____,
You ask about the spiritual significance of the fact that Aaron and his surviving sons disobeyed Moses’ command to eat the priest’s portion of the sin offering in the holy place at the time Aaron’s two oldest sons were slain for offering strange fire to God in their sensors?
Your question gives me the opportunity to demonstrate that God’s wrath is poured out on “every soul of man,” upon His elect first and also upon the spiritual Gentiles.
Rom 2:8 But unto them that are contentious, and do not obey the truth, but obey unrighteousness, indignation and wrath, tribulation and anguish, upon every soul of man that doeth evil, of the Jew first, and also of the Gentile;
Who among us has not “done evil?”
Rom 2:4 Or despisest thou the riches of his goodness and forbearance and longsuffering; not knowing that the goodness of God leadeth thee to repentance?
Rom 2:5 But after thy hardness and impenitent heart treasurest up unto thyself wrath against the day of wrath and revelation of the righteous judgment of God;
Rom 2:6 Who will render to every man according to his deeds:
Rom 2:7 To them who by patient continuance in well doing seek for glory and honour and immortality, eternal life:
Rom 2:8 But unto them that are contentious, and do not obey the truth, but obey unrighteousness, indignation and wrath,
Rom 2:9 Tribulation and anguish, upon every soul of man that doeth evil, of the Jew first, and also of the Gentile;
Rom 2:10 But glory, honour, and peace, to every man that worketh good, to the Jew first, and also to the Gentile:
Rom 2:11 For there is no respect of persons with God.
Is there anyone who has not done evil? Is there any man who has not been contentious and has not obeyed the truth? Is there anyone who has not obeyed unrighteousness and been a child of disobedience? Is there any man one earth who is not in one of those two groups, Jews and Gentiles? Of course not, and that is why we are twice told that God’s wrath and His peace both extend to “every man… to the Jew first and also to the Gentile.”
Eph 2:2 Wherein in time past ye walked according to the course of this world, according to the prince of the power of the air, the spirit that now worketh in the children of disobedience:
Eph 2:3 Among whom also we all had our conversation in times past in the lusts of our flesh, fulfilling the desires of the flesh and of the mind; and were by nature the children of wrath, even as others.
Before we look at what is the spiritual significance of Aaron’s disobedience and Moses’s acceptance of Aaron’s answer, I want to commend you for what God has shown you about His word. You have placed New Testament, spiritual realities together with spiritual types of the Old Testament. You saw that the slaying of Nadab and Abihu is the death of our old man who has also offered strange fire to the Lord in the form of another Jesus, a ‘Jesus’ who is worshiped by the whole orthodox Christian world. Next, you saw the fire the Lord had kindled was His purging and purifying word, judging and burning out all of the wood, hay and stubble of the sins of our flesh and the false doctrines in the heavens of our minds.
You then asked what was the spiritual significance of these verses:
Lev 10:16 And Moses diligently sought the goat of the sin offering, and, behold, it was burnt: and he was angry with Eleazar and Ithamar, the sons of Aaron [which were] left [alive], saying,
Lev 10:17 Wherefore have ye not eaten the sin offering in the holy place, seeing it is most holy, and God hath given it you to bear the iniquity of the congregation, to make atonement for them before the LORD?
Lev 10:18 Behold, the blood of it was not brought in within the holy [place]: ye should indeed have eaten it in the holy place, as I commanded.
Lev 10:19 And Aaron said unto Moses, Behold, this day have they offered their sin offering and their burnt offering before the LORD; and such things have befallen me: and if I had eaten the sin offering to day, should it have been accepted in the sight of the LORD?
Lev 10:20 And when Moses heard that, he was content.
“Such things have befallen me…” Neither Aaron nor his sons could enter the tabernacle to eat their portion of the sin offering in the presence of the Lord simply because the Lord had just revealed that He would not tolerate a rebellious, lackadaisical, half-hearted treatment of His commandments. The Lord had just demonstrated how he feels about those who say we cannot possibly be of one mind in Christ when it comes to the “nonessential” details, like having exactly the right fire in our censors. The Lord had just demonstrated for you and for me how He feels about the mindset of the entire orthodox Christian church which subscribes to the “unity in the essentials and tolerance in the nonessentials” doctrine, which has been the mantra of orthodox Christianity since the days of Alexander the coppersmith and Diotrephes.
2Ti 4:14 Alexander the coppersmith did me [Paul] much evil: the Lord reward him according to his works:
2Ti 4:15 Of whom be thou ware also; for he hath greatly withstood our words.
2Ti 4:16 At my first answer no man stood with me, but all men forsook me: I pray God that it may not be laid to their charge.3Jn 1:9 I [John] wrote unto the church: but Diotrephes, who loveth to have the preeminence among them, receiveth us not.
3Jn 1:10 Wherefore, if I come, I will remember his deeds which he doeth, prating against us with malicious words: and not content therewith, neither doth he himself receive the brethren, and forbiddeth them that would, and casteth them out of the church.
Our words are our doctrine, and our doctrine is our fire:
Jer 5:14 Wherefore thus saith the LORD God of hosts, Because ye speak this word, behold, I will make my words in thy mouth fire, and this people wood, and it shall devour them.
Rev 11:5 And if any man will hurt them, fire proceedeth out of their mouth, and devoureth their enemies: and if any man will hurt them, he must in this manner be killed.
Rest assured that these two men knew each other, because the churches of Asia are the very churches John was writing to in Revelation. Alexander the coppersmith and Diotrephes no doubt disagreed on certain points, but one thing they both agreed on was that Paul and John had exalted themselves above the congregation and were uncompromising and therefore unloving.
1Jn 5:2 By this we know that we love the children of God, when we love God, and keep his commandments.
1Jn 5:3 For this is the love of God, that we keep his commandments: and his commandments are not grievous.
Since the book of Revelation is addressed to the very churches that Paul had raised up “in Asia,” the “seven churches of Asia” to whom the book of Revelation is addressed simply represent Christ’s church as a whole, then and now. The entire book is addressed to these seven churches:
Rev 1:10 I was in the Spirit on the Lord’s day, and heard behind me a great voice, as of a trumpet,
Rev 1:11 Saying, I am Alpha and Omega, the first and the last: and, What thou seest, write in a book, and send it unto the seven churches which are in Asia; unto Ephesus, and unto Smyrna, and unto Pergamos, and unto Thyatira, and unto Sardis, and unto Philadelphia, and unto Laodicea.
“The Lord’s day” is “the great and terrible day of the Lord.” It is the day of His judgment and His wrath being revealed from heaven against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of men:
Rom 1:18 For the wrath of God is revealed from heaven against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of men, who hold the truth in unrighteousness;
John saw this entire vision as being “in the spirit on the Lord’s day.” Just a few verses earlier the entire vision is presented to us as “the words that are written therein”, and we are told that those who “keep the words written therein are blessed… for the time is at hand.” In other words, those who judge themselves now will not be judged later with the whole world in the lake of fire:
Rev 1:3 Blessed is he that readeth, and they that hear the words of this prophecy, and keep those things which are written therein: for the time is at hand.
Christ Himself tells us that mankind will, each at his appointed time, “live by every word which proceeds out of the mouth of God.”
Mat 4:4 But he answered and said, It is written, Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceedeth out of the mouth of God.
Like Nadab and Abihu, we have all ignored these words and have placed them on others. “Surely this story of Nadab and Abihu has nothing to do with God’s elect”, we have all reasoned. The whole world has effectively parsed God’s wrath right out of having anything to do with God’s elect, and yet this is what we are told about the necessity of “keeping the things written therein… every word that proceeds out of the mouth of God,” including every word that concerns His pouring out of His wrath upon all ungodliness and unrighteousness of men:”
Rev 15:8 And the temple was filled with smoke from the glory of God, and from his power; and no man was able to enter into the temple, till the seven plagues of the seven angels were fulfilled.
The only question that ought to be of concern to God’s elect at this point is whether Rev 15:8 has “proceeded out of the mouth of God?” Well, has it? This is what the scriptures tell us:
Rev 1:1 The Revelation of Jesus Christ, which God gave unto him, to shew unto his servants things which must shortly come to pass; and he sent and signified [it] by his angel unto his servant John:
Yes, the book of Revelation has “proceeded out of the mouth of God” via Christ who has given this same Revelation to John, who is our “fellow laborer” in “keeping the sayings of this book.”
Rev 1:9 I John, who also am your brother, and companion in tribulation, and in the kingdom and patience of Jesus Christ, was in the isle that is called Patmos, for the word of God, and for the testimony of Jesus Christ.
Rev 19:10 And I fell at his feet to worship him [the angel]. And he said unto me, See [thou do it] not: I am thy fellowservant, and of thy brethren that have the testimony of Jesus: worship God: for the testimony of Jesus is the spirit of prophecy.
Rev 22:9 Then saith he unto me, See [thou do it] not: for I am thy fellowservant, and of thy brethren the prophets, and of them which keep the sayings of this book: worship God.
That is a real revelation. The angels which have the seven vials are our “fellowservants who keep the sayings of this book.. our brothers that have the testimony of Jesus.”
Rev 15:7 And one of the four beasts gave unto the seven angels seven golden vials full of the wrath of God, who liveth for ever and ever.
Rev 17:1 And there came one of the seven angels which had the seven vials, and talked with me, saying unto me, Come hither; I will shew unto thee the judgment of the great whore that sitteth upon many waters:
Rev 21:9 And there came unto me one of the seven angels which had the seven vials full of the seven last plagues, and talked with me, saying, Come hither, I will shew thee the bride, the Lamb’s wife.
These are the same “seven angels” mentioned in chapter one:
Rev 1:20 The mystery of the seven stars which thou sawest in my right hand, and the seven golden candlesticks. The seven stars are the angels of the seven churches: and the seven candlesticks which thou sawest are the seven churches.
What is the function of these “angels of the seven churches?” They take the testimony of Jesus to the seven churches:
Rev 2:1 Unto the angel of the church of Ephesus write; These things saith he that holdeth the seven stars in his right hand, who walketh in the midst of the seven golden candlesticks;
Rev 2:8 And unto the angel of the church in Smyrna write; These things saith the first and the last, which was dead, and is alive;
Rev 2:12 And to the angel of the church in Pergamos write; These things saith he which hath the sharp sword with two edges;
Rev 2:18 And unto the angel of the church in Thyatira write; These things saith the Son of God, who hath his eyes like unto a flame of fire, and his feet are like fine brass;
Rev 3:1 And unto the angel of the church in Sardis write; These things saith he that hath the seven Spirits of God, and the seven stars; I know thy works, that thou hast a name that thou livest, and art dead.
Rev 3:7 And to the angel of the church in Philadelphia write; These things saith he that is holy, he that is true, he that hath the key of David, he that openeth, and no man shutteth; and shutteth, and no man openeth;
Rev 3:14 And unto the angel of the church of the Laodiceans write; These things saith the Amen, the faithful and true witness, the beginning of the creation of God;
These “seven angels” bear the “testimony of Jesus” to the seven churches. Christ, like His Father before Him, does nothing except it is done through His Christ:
Joh 1:1 In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.
Joh 1:2 The same was in the beginning with God.
Joh 1:3 All things were made by him; and without him was not any thing made that was made.Col 1:16 For by him were all things created, that are in heaven, and that are in earth, visible and invisible, whether [they be] thrones, or dominions, or principalities, or powers: all things were created by him, and for him:
Col 1:17 And he is before all things, and by him all things consist.
Christ has made it abundantly clear that He is operating in the same way, doing all that His Father has sent Him to accomplish, and doing it through His own Christ, which He refers to as “the Christ.”
Luk 22:29 And I appoint unto you a kingdom, as my Father hath appointed unto me;
Joh 20:21 Then said Jesus to them again, Peace be unto you: as [my] Father hath sent me, even so send I you.
Eph 1:8 Wherein he hath abounded toward us in all wisdom and prudence;
Eph 1:9 Having made known unto us the mystery of his will, according to his good pleasure which he hath purposed in himself:
Eph 1:10 That in the dispensation of the fulness of times he might gather together in one all things in [the] Christ, both which are in heaven, and which are on earth; [even] in him:
Eph 1:11 In whom also we have obtained an inheritance, being predestinated according to the purpose of him who worketh all things after the counsel of his own will:
Eph 1:12 That we should be to the praise of his glory, who first trusted in Christ.
Here are these same verses in the Concordant Version:
Eph 1:8 which He lavishes on us; in all wisdom and prudence
Eph 1:9 making known to us the secret of His will (in accord with His delight, which He purposed in Him)”
Eph 1:10 to have an administration of the complement of the eras, to head up all in the Christ – both that in the heavens and that on the earth”
Eph 1:11 in Him in Whom our lot was cast also, being designated beforehand according to the purpose of the One Who is operating all in accord with the counsel of His will,
Eph 1:12 that we should be for the laud of His glory, who are pre-expectant in the Christ.” (CLV)
But “the Christ” of Christ, must “have the testimony of Jesus,” according to “one of the angels which had the seven vials.”
Rev 19:10 And I fell at his feet to worship him [the angel]. And he said unto me, See [thou do it] not: I am thy fellowservant, and of thy brethren that have the testimony of Jesus: worship God: for the testimony of Jesus is the spirit of prophecy.
Who are we told has “the testimony of Jesus Christ? Here are those who have that testimony:
Rev 1:1 The Revelation of Jesus Christ, which God gave unto him, to shew unto his servants things which must shortly come to pass; and he sent and signified [it] by his angel unto his servant John:
Rev 1:2 Who bare record of the word of God, and of the testimony of Jesus Christ, and of all things that he saw.
Rev 1:9 I John, who also am your brother, and companion in tribulation, and in the kingdom and patience of Jesus Christ, was in the isle that is called Patmos, for the word of God, and for the testimony of Jesus Christ.
John tells us the same things the angels with the seven vials tell John. Both tell us that they are our fellow servants and have the testimony of Jesus and keep the saying of this book. But who are John and the angels who “are bearing record of the word of God and of the testimony of Jesus Christ?” What say the scriptures? Here is who the scriptures reveal the seven angels of the seven churches and John himself typify:
Rev 12:17 And the dragon was wroth with the woman, and went to make war with the remnant of her seed, which keep the commandments of God, and have the testimony of Jesus Christ.
That is right, “He saith not to seeds as of many, but to thy seed, which is Christ,” the “seed of the woman” which seed was prophesied way back in Genesis:
Gen 3:15 And I will put enmity between thee and the woman, and between thy seed and her seed; it shall bruise thy head, and thou shalt bruise his heel.
The enmity between the seed of the woman and the seed of the serpent is put there by God Himself, who is “working all things after the counsel of His own will.” Those who have “the testimony of Jesus Christ” are the remnant of her seed. And all the angels of the book of the revelation of Jesus Christ have the testimony of Jesus Christ and take that testimony to the church of Jesus Christ. That testimony is “the words which are written therein which words must shortly come to pass.” But the whole world wants you and me to believe that the words in the revelation of Jesus Christ are not for all men and are to be divided up into those who lived in Christ’s day and those who will face his wrath at a separate time. Those who teach this heresy deny that the wrath of God abides on all who are now in disobedience, despite God’s clear words to the contrary:
Joh 3:36 He that believeth on the Son hath everlasting life: and he that believeth not the Son shall not see life; but the wrath of God abideth on him.
The fact that we are prosperous in this life does not mean that God’s wrath is not upon us. His wrath is at this very moment upon the wealthiest of this world, and we all store up wrath against the day of wrath, until that day of judgment comes on us all, because “man shall live by every word that proceeds out of the mouth of God:
Rom 2:5 But after thy hardness and impenitent heart treasurest up unto thyself wrath against the day of wrath and revelation of the righteous judgment of God;
If we read Romans 2 and put those words off on someone else, then we have then and there done what we were warned in the revelation of Jesus Christ, we are never to do:
Rev 22:18 For I testify unto every man that heareth the words of the prophecy of this book, If any man shall add unto these things, God shall add unto him the plagues that are written in this book:
Rev 22:19 And if any man shall take away from the words of the book of this prophecy, God shall take away his part out of the book of life, and out of the holy city, and [from] the things which are written in this book.
Rev 22:20 He which testifieth these things saith, Surely I come quickly. Amen. Even so, come, Lord Jesus.
Rev 22:21 The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you all. Amen.
Are the chapters dealing with God’s wrath “word of the prophecy of this book?” They certainly are. Do those words have any personal application for you? Be very careful how you answer that question, because “out of thine own mouth I will judge thee…” Is the book of Revelation “the sum of God’s word?” Of course not.
Psa 119:160 The sum of thy word is truth; And every one of thy righteous ordinances endureth for ever. (ASV)
“The blood of all the prophets will come upon this generation:”
Mat 23:33 Ye serpents, ye offspring of vipers, how shall ye escape the judgment of hell?
Mat 23:34 Therefore, behold, I send unto you prophets, and wise men, and scribes: some of them shall ye kill and crucify; and some of them shall ye scourge in your synagogues, and persecute from city to city:
Mat 23:35 that upon you may come all the righteous blood shed on the earth, from the blood of Abel the righteous unto the blood of Zachariah son of Barachiah, whom ye slew between the sanctuary and the altar.Mat 23:36 Verily I say unto you, All these things shall come upon this generation.
So do you read verse 33 and think that Christ is talking to someone other than you and me? If so, you still have not learned the meaning of:
Mat 4:4 But he answered and said, It is written, Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceedeth out of the mouth of God.
Romans 2 and Matthew 23 are both directed to our old man who was part of “this generation.” The men of Nineveh and the Queen of Sheba, will rise up in judgment against the old Mike Vinson and the old you, and will condemn us both, because our old man, just like Peter and all the apostles, did not believe that Christ’s words had any personal application:
Mat 26:31 Then saith Jesus unto them, All ye shall be offended because of me this night: for it is written, I will smite the shepherd, and the sheep of the flock shall be scattered abroad.
Mat 26:32 But after I am risen again, I will go before you into Galilee.
Mat 26:33 Peter answered and said unto him, Though all men shall be offended because of thee, [yet] will I never be offended.
Mat 26:34 Jesus said unto him, Verily I say unto thee, That this night, before the cock crow, thou shalt deny me thrice.
Mat 26:35 Peter said unto him, Though I should die with thee, yet will I not deny thee. Likewise also said all the disciples.
If you can read the story of Peter, three times he denied His Lord and even swore that He never knew Him, just as our Lord’s eye caught Peter’s eye, and just as the cock crowed; If you can read the story of Abel, of Jacob’s return from Haran, of Joseph and His brothers, of King David and Absolom, and of Christ Himself crying out “My God, My God, Why hast thou forsaken me?” and still deny that “no man can enter the temple, till the seven plagues of the seven angels were fulfilled,” then tell it to Peter who said that the events surrounding the day of Pentecost were the fulfillment of the great and terrible day of the Lord, the very day in which all the words of the vision of the revelation of Jesus Christ, are fulfilled.
Joe 2:27 And ye shall know that I [am] in the midst of Israel, and [that] I [am] the LORD your God, and none else: and my people shall never be ashamed.
Joe 2:28 And it shall come to pass afterward, [that] I will pour out my spirit upon all flesh; and your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, your old men shall dream dreams, your young men shall see visions:
Joe 2:29 And also upon the servants and upon the handmaids in those days will I pour out my spirit.
Joe 2:30 And I will shew wonders in the heavens and in the earth, blood, and fire, and pillars of smoke.
Joe 2:31 The sun shall be turned into darkness, and the moon into blood, before the great and the terrible day of the LORD come.
“Peter and the eleven” had just lived those words. So had all the others who were of the 120 who had gathered in the upper room on that day of Pentecost. Their sun had turned to darkness, their moon had turned to blood just before this great day had come upon them. This was now the time that judgment would begin at the house of God; this was the beginning of the judgment of God, the beginning of the revelation of Jesus Christ, the beginning of the fiery trials that would burn out all of the wood, hay and stubble out of the lives of God’s elect.
This was now the beginning of being judged now:
1Co 11:31 For if we would judge ourselves, we should not be judged.
1Co 11:32 But when we are judged, we are chastened of the Lord, that we should not be condemned with the world.1Pe 4:12 Beloved, think it not strange concerning the fiery trial which is to try you, as though some strange thing happened unto you:
1Pe 4:17 For the time is come that judgment must begin at the house of God: and if it first begin at us, what shall the end [be] of them that obey not the gospel of God?
Act 2:14 But Peter, standing up with the eleven, lifted up his voice, and said unto them, Ye men of Judaea, and all [ye] that dwell at Jerusalem, be this known unto you, and hearken to my words:
Act 2:15 For these are not drunken, as ye suppose, seeing it is [but] the third hour of the day.
Act 2:16 But this is that which was spoken by the prophet Joel;
Act 2:17 And it shall come to pass in the last days, saith God, I will pour out of my Spirit upon all flesh: and your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, and your young men shall see visions, and your old men shall dream dreams:
Act 2:18 on my servants and on my handmaidens I will pour out in those days of my Spirit; and they shall prophesy:
Act 2:19 And I will shew wonders in heaven above, and signs in the earth beneath; blood, and fire, and vapour of smoke:
Act 2:20 The sun shall be turned into darkness, and the moon into blood, before that great and notable day of the Lord come:Rev 1:10 I was in the Spirit on the Lord’s day, and heard behind me a great voice, as of a trumpet,
Aaron, Eleazar and Ithamar had learned that God wanted their whole heart in His holy place. They also knew that they had not yet come to that point on that day.
Lev 10:19 And Aaron said unto Moses, Behold, this day have they offered their sin offering and their burnt offering before the LORD; and such things have befallen me: and if I had eaten the sin offering to day, should it have been accepted in the sight of the LORD?
The answer to Aaron’s question is, no, it would not have been accepted of the Lord because:
Rev 15:8 And the temple was filled with smoke from the glory of God, and from his power; and no man was able to enter into the temple, till the seven plagues of the seven angels were fulfilled.
For Aaron and his two remaining sons “the seven plagues of the seven angels were not yet fulfilled.” So when Moses heard Aaron’s answer, he understood that there was still smoke in God’s temple, “from his power, and no man was able to enter into the temple till the seven plagues of the seven angels was fulfilled.”
Lev 10:20 And when Moses heard that, he was content.
The subject of Christ being made sin and God pouring out His wrath on Christ is rejected by the whole orthodox Christian world, in spite of Christ crying out for our benefit with His dying breath, that such was the case:
Mat 27:46 And about the ninth hour Jesus cried with a loud voice, saying, Eli, Eli, lama sabachthani? that is to say, My God, my God, why hast thou forsaken me?
Isa 54:8 In a little wrath I hid my face from thee for a moment; but with everlasting kindness will I have mercy on thee, saith the LORD thy Redeemer.
One of the keys to understanding God’s Word is to know and understand that what applies to Christ applies to His body, and to all the types of Him and His body throughout scripture. It was that understanding which Christ imparted to his disciples in these verses:
Luk 24:25 Then he said unto them, O fools, and slow of heart to believe all that the prophets have spoken:
Luk 24:26 Ought not Christ to have suffered these things, and to enter into his glory?
Luk 24:27 And beginning at Moses and all the prophets, he expounded unto them in all the scriptures the things concerning himself.
Because Christ “was made sin” by coming in “sinful flesh and blood,” He is able to comfort those who were also in the same sinful flesh and blood:
Heb 2:14 Forasmuch then as the children are partakers of flesh and blood, he also himself likewise took part of the same; that through death he might destroy him that had the power of death, that is, the devil;
Rom 8:3 For what the law could not do, in that it was weak through the flesh, God sending his own Son in the likeness of sinful flesh, and for sin, condemned sin in the flesh:
Heb 2:15 And deliver them who through fear of death were all their lifetime subject to bondage.
Heb 2:16 For verily he took not on [him the nature of] angels; but he took on [him] the seed of Abraham.
Heb 2:17 Wherefore in all things it behoved him to be made like unto his brethren, that he might be a merciful and faithful high priest in things pertaining to God, to make reconciliation for the sins of the people.
Heb 2:18 For in that he himself hath suffered being tempted, he is able to succour them that are tempted.
This subject of Christ being made sin and having God’s wrath poured out on His body of sin, which had never sinned, is a stumbling block for the entire orthodox Christian world. I hope this helps you to see that “no one can enter the temple “till the seven plagues of the seven angels were fulfilled.”
I hope this helps you to see that even though the seven angels are the channel through which God’s fiery wrath is poured out, they are nevertheless also “fellowservants who keep the sayings of this book, [including] not being able to enter the temple till the seven plagues of the seven angels were fulfilled.”
Rev 22:9 Then saith he unto me, See [thou do it] not: for I am thy fellowservant, and of thy brethren the prophets, and of them which keep the sayings of this book: worship God.
I hope this has helped you to understand what is the spiritual significance of why Moses was content when he heard Aaron’s reason for disobeying God’s command and not eating the sacrifice of the sin offering that day. Even Christ had to have angels to strengthen Him.
Luk 22:42 Saying, Father, if thou be willing, remove this cup from me: nevertheless not my will, but thine, be done.
Luk 22:43 And there appeared an angel unto him from heaven, strengthening him.
Luk 22:44 And strong>being in an agony he prayed more earnestly: and his sweat was as it were great drops of blood falling down to the ground.
If Christ was in agony, why would it be anything less with us in these same circumstances, or with Aaron and his two surviving sons.
Your brother in ‘the Christ,’
Mike
