The Days Ordained For Us

Print Friendly, PDF & Email

Hi R____,

What an incredible story! How anyone can read a story like this and not see the hand of God in all of it is beyond me. What are the chances of you just happening to pick that camping spot?

But look also at all the circumstances leading up to that decision. The broken collar bone, your wife never believing in hell to begin with, etc. If God gives us ‘eyes to see and ears to hear’ we must conclude that He really is working all things after the counsel of His own will.

Eph 1:11  In whom also we have obtained an inheritance, being predestinated according to the purpose of him who worketh all things after the counsel of his own will:

The depth of the Truth of that verse sinks into my mind more every day. I know you have probably already seen this verse, because I have been wearing it out in the e- mails I have been writing ever since I came to see this verse earlier this year, but this, too, is an incredible truth which is given to but few to receive:

Psa 139:16  Thine eyes did see mine unformed substance; And in thy book they were all written, Even the days that were ordained for me, When as yet there was none of them.
Psa 139:17  How precious also are thy thoughts unto me, O God! How great is the sum of them!

So not only were all of those past events written in God’s book before there were any of them, but also every day which is yet ordained for us to live was written in God’s book “before the world began.”

2Ti 1:9  Who hath saved us, and called [ us] with an holy calling, not according to our works, but according to his own purpose and grace, which was given us in Christ Jesus before the world began,
Tit 1:2  In hope of eternal life, which God, that cannot lie, promised before the world began;

None of this taxes our heavenly Father. Knowing all things, is simply who He is.

So you are exactly right when you conclude:

That is right; “everybody” and everything. It is all the working of all things after the counsel of His own will. God is preparing a few through whom He will give all mankind “a penny a day.” Those “few chosen” will be used to make this secret known to all the rest “in their own order.”

1Co 15:22  For as in Adam all die, even so in Christ shall all be made alive.
1Co 15:23  But every man in his own order: Christ the firstfruits; afterward they that are Christ’s at his coming.

One of the many doctrines Mr. Knoch had not be given eyes to see is that God, even now, has two wives. One is a bondwoman with her son, and the other is a freewoman with her son. As it was then, so it is now, the son of the bondwoman will always be in the business of persecuting the true Israelite and the true Jew.

Gal 4:22  For it is written, that Abraham had two sons, the one by a bondmaid, the other by a freewoman.
Gal 4:23  But he [ who was] of the bondwoman was born after the flesh; but he of the freewoman [ was] by promise.
Gal 4:24  Which things are an allegory: for these are the two covenants; the one from the mount Sinai, which gendereth to bondage, which is Agar.
Gal 4:25  For this Agar is mount Sinai in Arabia, and answereth to Jerusalem which now is, and is in bondage with her children.
Gal 4:26  But Jerusalem which is above is free, which is the mother of us all.
Gal 4:27  For it is written, Rejoice, [ thou] barren that bearest not; break forth and cry, thou that travailest not: for the desolate hath many more children than she which hath an husband.
Gal 4:28  Now we, brethren, as Isaac was, are the children of promise.
Gal 4:29  But as then he that was born after the flesh persecuted him [ that was born] after the Spirit, even so [ it is] now.
Gal 4:30  Nevertheless what saith the scripture? Cast out the bondwoman and her son: for the son of the bondwoman shall not be heir with the son of the freewoman.
Gal 4:31  So then, brethren, we are not children of the bondwoman, but of the free.

Paul has just told us that “if we are in Christ we are the seed of Abraham, and heirs according to the promise.”

Gal 3:29  And if ye [ be] Christ’s, then are ye Abraham’s seed, and heirs according to the promise.

But then in Gal 4, Paul elaborates on that and shows that there are those who are “in Christ” who are “Abraham’s seed” but who are not heirs according to the promises” even though they “believe in Christ and are Abraham’s seed.”

In other words, the vast majority of orthodox Christianity are Abraham’s seed as sons of the bondwoman. No one in that position is capable of seeing that. The Arabs to this day feel that they are Abraham’s first born, and therefore entitled to the promises made to Abraham. Neither Jew, nor orthodox Christians, nor Arabs, can understand how Paul points out that Abraham’s son by the freewoman is now Hagar in bondage with her children. God’s Words are always so counterintuitive to the mind of the natural man:

Gal 4:25  For this Agar is mount Sinai in Arabia, and answereth to Jerusalem which now is, and is in bondage with her children.

Hagar is also orthodox Christianity which assumes itself to be “Jerusalem which is above,” even as she rejects the doctrines of Jesus Christ.

Luk 6:46  And why call ye me, Lord, Lord, and do not the things which I say?

In other words, just like the “Sanctified in Christ… called to be saints… Yet carnal” Corintians, our first conversion is to become “of our father the devil” (Joh 8:44)

Joh 8:31  Then said Jesus to those Jews which believed on him, If ye continue in my word, [ then] are ye my disciples indeed;
Joh 8:44  Ye are of your father the devil, and the lusts of your father ye will do. He was a murderer from the beginning, and abode not in the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he speaketh a lie, he speaketh of his own: for he is a liar, and the father of it.

“The church which is his body… the seed of Abraham, by promise” has been through that stage of “the things written therein” and is aware that, as you say, “everything serves a purpose… it all is necessary in God’s plan… Knoch, you, me… everybody.”

But as we become knowledgeable of these truths, and as we witness to them, those we know are Abraham’s seed, but who do not the works of Abraham… will seek to spiritually kill us… and put us out of their synagogues.”

Joh 8:37  I know that ye are Abraham’s seed; but ye seek to kill me, because my word hath no place in you.
Joh 8:38  I speak that which I have seen with my Father: and ye do that which ye have seen with your father.
Joh 8:39  They answered and said unto him, Abraham is our father. Jesus saith unto them, If ye were Abraham’s children, ye would do the works of Abraham.
Joh 8:40  But now ye seek to kill me, a man that hath told you the truth, which I have heard of God: this did not Abraham.

“I know you are Abraham’s seed… If you were Abraham’s seed…???” Again, God’s word is so counterintuitive to the natural man. These verses in Joh 8 and the “carnal babes in Christ” of 1Co 3:1-4, is a concept which is foreign to all such carnal Christians.

We live through those days before we “look behind us to see the voice” which finally gives us “the revelation of Jesus Christ.” We have just covered this subject in our studies in the book of Revelation, which are on the site both as Ustream telecasts and in study notes. I hope you will take the time to read those notes, or watch that Ustream telecast on your computer.

It all boils down to the fact that we all are predestinated to go through every day which is ordained for us and is already written in God’s book. I thank God for my early years as a Pentecostal. I thank Him for taking me out of that doctrine and into the doctrines of the World Wide Church Of God. I thank God for taking me out of the doctrines of the WWCG and into the doctrines of A. E. Knoch and the Concordant Publishing Concern. I thank Him also for opening my eyes to his Words and for inspiring my then teenage son to start a web page in 1997, for me to share God’s word with others all around the world.  I thank God that He has me where I am today, fighting to remain faithful to His word in the face of science falsely so called, and in the face of two hundred million false doctrines which want us all to believe that there is no way to “know the truth.” That is a lie. Either we “know the Truth” or we do not have eternal life.

Joh 8:31  Then said Jesus to those Jews which believed on him, If ye continue in my word, [ then] are ye my disciples indeed;
Joh 8:32  And ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free.

When we “know the Truth, we know Jesus Christ, and through Christ we know God, and have eternal life.

Joh 17:3  And this is life eternal, that they might know thee the only true God, and Jesus Christ, whom thou hast sent.

Let me exhort you to be prepared for the trials that come with being given knowledge and understanding. It is only if we suffer for what we know that we will be counted worthy to be in that blessed and holy first resurrection.

“The days ordained for me, written in His book” are the pages of the revelation of Jesus Christ from Genesis to Revelation. As a friend of mine in New York put it, “If I do not see my own name written on every page of God’s Word, I am taking my part out of the sayings of the prophecy of this book.”

Psa 139:16  Thine eyes did see mine unformed substance; And in thy book they were all written, Even the days that were ordained for me, When as yet there was none of them.

We know this is so because of these verses:

Rev 1:3  Blessed [ is] he that readeth, and they that hear the words of this prophecy, and keep those things which are written therein: for the time is at hand.

“The time is at hand… to live the days ordained for us… written in thy book, when as yet there were none of them… to keep the things written therein… to keep the sayings of the prophecy of this book… thy book, or else have our part taken out of the sayings of the prophecy of this book… thy book,” only to be lived out in their fullness in a place called “the lake of fire,” which is still the sayings of the prophecy of this book.”

Rev 22:7  Behold, I come quickly: blessed is he that keepeth the sayings of the prophecy of this book.
Rev 22:18  For I testify unto every man that heareth the words of the prophecy of this book, If any man shall add unto these things, God shall add unto him the plagues that are written in this book:
Rev 22:19  And if any man shall take away from the words of the book of this prophecy, God shall take away his part out of the book of life, and out of the holy city, and from the things which are written in this book.

My prayers are with you as you seek to “keep the sayings of the prophecy of this book and the days that are ordained for you, written in His book.”

Your brother in Christ,
Mike
