“She will do him good and not evil all the days of her life” – Part 3

In this last section of proverbs 31, we will look at the remaining spiritual attributes of Christ’s bride that are given to us to believe (Joh 6:29).

Joh 6:29  Jesus answered and said unto them, This is the work of God, that ye believe on him whom he hath sent.

It is when we see the spiritual meaning of the words we are reading that they become profitable words which quicken us (Joh 6:63).

Joh 6:63  It is the spirit that quickeneth; the flesh profiteth nothing: the words that I speak unto you, they are spirit, and they are life.

The words mean what they mean and not what they say (Mat 13:13 , Luk 8:10), and what they tell God’s elect is that Christ’s wife is “highly favoured” (Luk 1:28) in this age to know God and Jesus Christ, and to know that this hope of glory within us is real and nothing shall be able to separate us from the love of God or the work that He is doing in us through Christ (Col 1:27 , Joh 14:20 , Rom 8:35-39 , Joh 18:9 , Eph 2:10). The words and the work of God within the body of Christ are being typified for us throughout this 31st chapter of Proverbs.

Mat 13:13  Therefore speak I to them in parables: because they seeing see not; and hearing they hear not, neither do they understand.

Luk 8:10  And he said, Unto you it is given to know the mysteries of the kingdom of God:[Luk 17:21] but to others in parables; that seeing they might not see, and hearing they might not understand.

Col 1:27  To whom God would make known what is the riches of the glory of this mystery among the Gentiles; which is Christ in you, the hope of glory:[Luk 17:21]

Joh 14:20  At that day ye shall know that I am in my Father, and ye in me, and I in you.

Rom 8:35  Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? shall tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or peril, or sword?

Rom 8:36  As it is written, For thy sake we are killed all the day long; we are accounted as sheep for the slaughter.
Rom 8:37  Nay, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him that loved us.
Rom 8:38  For I am persuaded, that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor powers, nor things present, nor things to come,
Rom 8:39  Nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature, shall be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.

Joh 18:9  That the saying might be fulfilled, which he spake, Of them which thou gavest me have I lost none.

Eph 2:10  For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus unto good works, which God hath before ordained that we should walk in them.

Pro 31:25  Strength and honour are her clothing; and she shall rejoice in time to come.

What God has started in us is being accomplished by Christ who is our “strength and honour” and finisher of our faith (Heb 12:2 , Php 1:6). It is “her clothing” that represents her “strength and honour”, meaning the righteousness of Christ within the bride, which is a gift from God (Eph 2:8) that we carry with us through this life in earnest, knowing that “we shall rejoice in time to come” (Rev 19:8 , Eph 1:14 , Col 1:24).

Eph 2:8  For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God:

Rev 19:8  And to her was granted that she should be arrayed in fine linen, clean and white: for the fine linen is the righteousness of saints.

Eph 1:14  Which is the earnest of our inheritance until the redemption of the purchased possession, unto the praise of his glory.

Col 1:24  Who now rejoice in my sufferings for you [“she shall rejoice in time to come”], and fill up that which is behind of the afflictions of Christ in my flesh for his body’s sake, which is the church:

Pro 31:26  She openeth her mouth with wisdom; and in her tongue is the law of kindness.

This verse describes for us the fruit of the bride’s life. Christ is our wisdom (1Co 1:30-31 , Eph 1:17-18), and the one who is able to soften our hearts through the trials and much tribulation that we must go through in order to have His mind (Act 14:22), which produces “the law of kindness”.

1Co 1:30  But of him are ye in Christ Jesus, who of God is made unto us wisdom, and righteousness, and sanctification, and redemption:
1Co 1:31  That, according as it is written, He that glorieth, let him glory in the Lord.

Eph 1:17  That the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may give unto you the spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of him:
Eph 1:18  The eyes of your understanding being enlightened; that ye may know what is the hope of his calling, and what the riches of the glory of his inheritance in the saints,

Act 14:22  Confirming the souls of the disciples, and exhorting them to continue in the faith, and that we must through much tribulation enter into the kingdom of God.

Pro 31:27  She looketh well to the ways of her household, and eateth not the bread of idleness.

We are our brother’s keeper (Gen 4:9), and we are each called to “looketh well to the ways of her household” (Pro 27:23 , Php 2:4-7 , 1Pe 5:2 , Act 20:28).

Pro 27:23  Be thou diligent to know the state of thy flocks, and look well to thy herds.

Php 2:4  Look not every man on his own things, but every man also on the things of others.
Php 2:5  Let this mind be in you, which was also in Christ Jesus:
Php 2:6  Who, being in the form of God, thought it not robbery to be equal with God:
Php 2:7  But made himself of no reputation, and took upon him the form of a servant, and was made in the likeness of men:

1Pe 5:2  Feed the flock of God which is among you, taking the oversight thereof, not by constraint, but willingly; not for filthy lucre, but of a ready mind;

Act 20:28  Take heed therefore unto yourselves, and to all the flock, over the which the Holy Ghost hath made you overseers, to feed the church of God, which he hath purchased with his own blood.

It requires Christ’s life, the true bread of life within us (Joh 6:35), to give us victory over “the bread of idleness”. Very few are given that fear of God in this age (Isa 66:2 , Heb 5:7), which creates a zeal within the body of Christ (Tit 2:14-15) that is needed to move with fear to the saving of our temple (1Co 3:16 , Psa 119:139), or “household”, typified by Noah who did just that (Heb 11:7).

Joh 6:35  And Jesus said unto them, I am the bread of life: he that cometh to me shall never hunger; and he that believeth on me shall never thirst.

Isa 66:2  For all those things hath mine hand made, and all those things have been, saith the LORD: but to this man will I look, even to him that is poor and of a contrite spirit, and trembleth at my word.

Heb 5:7  Who in the days of his flesh, when he had offered up prayers and supplications with strong crying and tears unto him that was able to save him from death, and was heard in that he feared;

Tit 2:14  Who gave himself for us, that he might redeem us from all iniquity, and purify unto himself a peculiar people, zealous of good works.
Tit 2:15  These things speak, and exhort, and rebuke with all authority. Let no man despise thee.

Heb 11:7  By faith Noah, being warned of God of things not seen as yet, moved with fear, prepared an ark to the saving of his house; by the which he condemned the world, and became heir of the righteousness which is by faith.

God has purposed that it would be few who are initially saved, so that mankind, in time, will get the message that it is only by Christ working in us both to will and to do of His good pleasure that we can become profitable servants who are prepared at the end of this age (Php 2:12-13 , Luk 17:10 , Rom 3:27-28).

Php 2:12  Wherefore, my beloved, as ye have always obeyed, not as in my presence only, but now much more in my absence, work out your own salvation with fear and trembling.
Php 2:13  For it is God which worketh in you both to will and to do of his good pleasure.

Luk 17:10  So likewise ye, when ye shall have done all those things which are commanded you, say, We are unprofitable servants: we have done that which was our duty to do.

Rom 3:27  Where is boasting then? It is excluded. By what law? of works? Nay: but by the law of faith.
Rom 3:28  Therefore we conclude that a man is justified by faith without the deeds of the law.

Pro 31:28  Her children arise up, and call her blessed; her husband also, and he praiseth her.

This verse takes us back to recognizing the value of the merchandise that we have (Pro 3:14 , Pro 31:18), which merchandise is God’s word, “Her children arise up”, that Christ holds fast to within us (Col 1:27 , Rev 3:11 , Joh 18:9).

Pro 3:14  For the merchandise of it is better than the merchandise of silver, and the gain thereof than fine gold.

Pro 31:18  She perceiveth that her merchandise is good: her candle goeth not out by night.

Col 1:27  To whom God would make known what is the riches of the glory of this mystery among the Gentiles; which is Christ in you, the hope of glory:

Rev 3:11  Behold, I come quickly: hold that fast which thou hast, that no man take thy crown.(Php 4:13)

Joh 18:9  That the saying might be fulfilled, which he spake, Of them which thou gavest me have I lost none.(Lev 16:21)

The doctrines that God has opened our heavens to understand are likened unto “Her children arise up, and call her blessed”. God gives the increase, and the spirit of those words that we now have and understand bear witness that we are the children of God (Rom 8:14-16).

Rom 8:14  For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, they are the sons of God.
Rom 8:15  For ye have not received the spirit of bondage again to fear; but ye have received the Spirit of adoption, whereby we cry, Abba, Father.[Heb 5:7 , 1Jn 4:17]
Rom 8:16  The Spirit [Joh 6:63] itself beareth witness with our spirit, that we are the children of God:

The doctrines of Christ are likened unto children that “arise up” in our heavens as God gives the increase (1Co 3:6). We are raised in heavenly places with our Father and Christ, and Christ acknowledges the workmanship of God, praising God for what He is doing within each joint that supplies in love (Eph 2:6-8 , Eph 4:16).

Eph 2:6  And hath raised us up together, and made us sit together in heavenly places in Christ Jesus:
Eph 2:7  That in the ages to come he might shew the exceeding riches of his grace in his kindness toward us through Christ Jesus.
Eph 2:8  For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God:

1Co 3:6  I have planted, Apollos watered; but God gave the increase.
1Co 3:7  So then neither is he that planteth any thing, neither he that watereth; but God that giveth the increase. [Mat 13:37-40 , 1Pe 4:12 , 1Pe 4:17]

Pro 31:29 Many daughters have done virtuously, but thou excellest them all.

Many people have waxed valiant for God in the old covenant providing a type and shadow of the greater works that God would do through the body of Christ (Heb 11:1-40). How much greater those works would be is something that our Father wants the world to know in time, not to draw attention to the bride of Christ, but rather to draw attention to the reality of who is doing these greater works than even what Christ did while in his flesh (Joh 14:12), which are being accomplished in the body of Christ today (Php 2:12-13). Virtuous behaviour does not equate with knowing the Truth (Luk 10:24), and the most virtuous or greatest work we can do in this life is to draw people to Christ if God will grant us that ability to be fishers of men (Mat 4:19 , 1Ti 4:16 , 1Jn 4:6).

Joh 14:12  Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that believeth on me, the works that I do shall he do also; and greater works than these shall he do; because I go unto my Father.(Col 1:27)

The greater works that God is going to do and has been doing within the body of Christ is what the statement “but thou excellest them all” is a type and shadow of. The “many daughters” in the verse represents the many daughters of Babylon that God’s people come out of (Rev 17:5) and who have done many wonderful works, but were not able to give all glory to God, still being found with their own righteousnesses as God intended to be the case (Php 3:9 , Mar 10:21-23). It will only be through God burning out that self righteous spirit within us today (2Th 1:4-5) that we will be able to be found counted worthy to be in that blessed and holy first resurrection (Rev 20:6)

Php 3:9  And be found in him, not having mine own righteousness, which is of the law, but that which is through the faith of Christ, the righteousness which is of God by faith:

Mar 10:21  Then Jesus beholding him loved him, and said unto him, One thing thou lackest: go thy way, sell whatsoever thou hast, and give to the poor, and thou shalt have treasure in heaven: and come, take up the cross, and follow me.

Favour is not the problem, but rather the deceitful and desperately wicked heart that is seeking a reward in the flesh in this life (Mat 6:2-5). Beauty is vain, but again beauty is not the problem, the problem is the corrupt heart that tells God, ‘I’m beautiful, I’ve done all these works from my youth up’ not knowing that those works in our flesh are a stench in God’s nose, where we don’t recognize our own ongoing unprofitability (Luk 17:10 , Gal 6:3 , Mar 10:18 , Mar 10:21).

Mat 6:2  Therefore when thou doest thine alms, do not sound a trumpet before thee, as the hypocrites do in the synagogues and in the streets, that they may have glory of men. Verily I say unto you, They have their reward.
Mat 6:3  But when thou doest alms, let not thy left hand know what thy right hand doeth:
Mat 6:4  That thine alms may be in secret: and thy Father which seeth in secret himself shall reward thee openly.
Mat 6:5  And when thou prayest, thou shalt not be as the hypocrites are: for they love to pray standing in the synagogues and in the corners of the streets, that they may be seen of men. Verily I say unto you, They have their reward.

Luk 17:10  So likewise ye, when ye shall have done all those things which are commanded you, say, We are unprofitable servants: we have done that which was our duty to do.

What is truly beautiful to God is the body of Christ with the life of Christ within us who fears God (Heb 5:7), “a woman that feareth the LORD”. That is the woman, or church, who will be praise by her husband, or lord, with these words, “Well done, good and faithful servant” (Mat 25:17 , Mat 25:21 , Mat 25:23).

Mat 25:17  And likewise he that had received two, he also gained other two.

Mat 25:21  His lord said unto him, Well done, thou good and faithful servant: thou hast been faithful over a few things, I will make thee ruler over many things: enter thou into the joy of thy lord.

Mat 25:23  His lord said unto him, Well done, good and faithful servant; thou hast been faithful over a few things, I will make thee ruler over many things: enter thou into the joy of thy lord.

Pro 31:31  Give her of the fruit of her hands; and let her own works praise her in the gates.

Giving to “her of the fruit of her hands; and let her own works praise her in the gates” is a statement telling us that God is going to reward the elect for all that we have had to endure in this life for the kingdom’s sake (Mat 19:27-30).

Mat 19:27  Then answered Peter and said unto him, Behold, we have forsaken all, and followed thee;[Mar 10:21] what shall we have therefore?
Mat 19:28  And Jesus said unto them, Verily I say unto you, That ye which have followed me, in the regeneration when the Son of man shall sit in the throne of his glory, ye also shall sit upon twelve thrones, judging the twelve tribes of Israel.
Mat 19:29  And every one that hath forsaken houses, or brethren, or sisters, or father, or mother, or wife, or children, or lands, for my name’s sake, shall receive an hundredfold, and shall inherit everlasting life.
Mat 19:30  But many that are first shall be last; and the last shall be first.

The workmanship of God within the elect was declared from the foundation of the world (Eph 2:10), works that Christ is doing within us that glorify God. Through Christ the church will glorify God, and the Lord will make a point to draw the world’s attention to the love that He had toward the elect and the miraculous work that He did within them, as he does with this proverbs 31 woman who represents Christ’s bride (Mal 3:16-18 , Rev 3:9-11).

Mal 3:16  Then they that feared the LORD spake often one to another: and the LORD hearkened, and heard it, and a book of remembrance was written before him for them that feared the LORD, and that thought upon his name.[Heb 10:25]
Mal 3:17  And they shall be mine, saith the LORD of hosts, in that day when I make up my jewels; and I will spare them, as a man spareth his own son that serveth him.
Mal 3:18  Then shall ye return, and discern between the righteous and the wicked, between him that serveth God and him that serveth him not.

Rev 3:9  Behold, I will make them of the synagogue of Satan, which say they are Jews, and are not, but do lie; behold, I will make them to come and worship before thy feet, and to know that I have loved thee.
Rev 3:10  Because thou hast kept the word of my patience, I also will keep thee from the hour of temptation, which shall come upon all the world, to try them that dwell upon the earth.
Rev 3:11  Behold, I come quickly: hold that fast which thou hast, that no man take thy crown.

Praise God for those wonderful works to the children of men that He is doing in His little beloved flock! (Luk 12:32)

“She will do him good and not evil all the days of her life” – Part 1

(Pro 31:12-16)

Pro 31:12  She will do him good and not evil all the days of her life.
Pro 31:13  She seeketh wool, and flax, and worketh willingly with her hands.
Pro 31:14  She is like the merchants’ ships; she bringeth her food from afar.
Pro 31:15  She riseth also while it is yet night, and giveth meat to her household, and a portion to her maidens.
Pro 31:16  She considereth a field, and buyeth it: with the fruit of her hands she planteth a vineyard.

The physical endeavors that preserve this woman’s family due to the diligent spirit God has given her (Pro 31:12-31) represent the diligent work that He is doing within the bride of Christ (Php 2:12-13), the church today,  “to preserve you a posterity in the earth,” (Gen 45:7) meaning all the world (Mat 5:5), that is going to be saved by a great deliverance via the body of Christ. The natural deliverance will come first (Mat 24:22) and then in the great white throne judgement all of mankind will be saved via the body of Christ (1Co 15:46, 1Co 6:3, Luk 1:30, Luk 2:35, Gen 45:7-8, Oba 1:21).

Mat 24:22  And except those days should be shortened, there should no flesh be saved: but for the elect’s sake those days shall be shortened.

1Co 6:3  Know ye not that we shall judge angels? how much more things that pertain to this life?

Luk 1:30  And the angel said unto her, Fear not, Mary: for thou hast found favour^G5485 with God.

Luk 2:35  (Yea, a sword shall pierce through thy own soul also,) that the thoughts of many hearts may be revealed. [God’s grace is God’s favour^G5485 upon the body of Christ demonstrated in chastening us and scourging us (Heb 12:6) so that we forsake ungodliness and worldly lusts in this age, and that is the piercing being spoken of that Mary who represents the church must endure (Tit 2:12)]

Gen 45:7  And God sent me before you to preserve you a posterity in the earth, and to save your lives by a great deliverance. (typified by Israel being delivered by a mighty hand from Egypt. God is doing the same thing with the Israel of God, moving heaven and earth for the body of Christ today to deliver us so that we can become saviours who come up on mount Zion to deliver the world (Mat 28:18))
Gen 45:8  So now it was not you that sent me hither, but God: and he hath made me a father to Pharaoh, and lord of all his house, and a ruler throughout all the land of Egypt.

This woman of Proverbs 31 spoken of as “she” and “her” multiple times typifies the body of Christ who like Christ will be found “full of grace^G5485 and truth” (Joh 1:14) in the first resurrection, and is why the angel says to Mary who typifies the church, “for thou hast found favour^G5485 with God”(Luk 1:30). It is an ongoing favour that God’s people are growing in as we fill up what is behind of the afflictions of Christ for His body’s “which is the church” (Col 1:24).

Joh 1:14  And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth.

God has chosen “the foolish things of the world to confound the wise; and God hath chosen the weak things of the world to confound the things which are mighty”, to accomplish His work that no flesh will glory in (1Co 1:29-31).

1Co 1:30  But of him are ye in Christ Jesus, who of God is made unto us wisdom, and righteousness, and sanctification, and redemption:
1Co 1:31  That, according as it is written, He that glorieth, let him glory in the Lord. [Aaron’s study last night reminded us of  the “far more exceeding and eternal weight of glory” which is the life of Christ being formed in us through “our light affliction, which is but for a moment” (2Co 4:17)]

God’s mercy is ultimately extended to all of His creation in due time through the body of Christ (1Co 1:25-27, Rom 11:25-32) who are sent with His word to heal the nations (1Jn 3:17, Joh 20:21, Psa 107:20-22). Our “due time” to experience that deliverance is right now, and is being accomplished through His judgements upon the bride who will be made ready (Rev 19:7), and have many children (Rom 5:6, 1Pe 4:12, 1Pe 4:17, Gal 4:27).

Gal 4:27  For it is written, Rejoice, thou barren that bearest not; break forth and cry, thou that travailest not: for the desolate hath many more children than she which hath an husband.

In this last section of chapter 31 of Proverbs we will look at the typical fruit of righteousness that God produces through this woman who represents the body of Christ doing these works unto our husband Jesus Christ. These works were purposed in Christ and ordained from the foundation of the world (Eph 1:9-10, Eph 2:10-13).

Eph 1:9  Having made known unto us the mystery of his will, according to his good pleasure which he hath purposed in himself:
Eph 1:10  That in the dispensation of the fulness of times he might gather together in one all things in Christ, both which are in heaven, and which are on earth; even in him:

Eph 2:10  For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus unto good works, which God hath before ordained that we should walk in them.

The works spoken of in these last verses of chapter 31 are all typical of what God can do through the body of Christ spiritually. The works that He has accomplished through the prophets of old bear witness (1Pe 1:12) of these wonderful works that God has ordained for Christ’s wife to bring forth in this age, and going forward. We are truly more than conquerors through Him, is what we are being shown by all these excellent works that this woman does (1Pe 1:12, 1Co 10:11, Jas 5:10, Heb 11:1-14, Php 3:14, Rom 8:37-39).

Rom 8:37  Nay, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him that loved us.
Rom 8:38  For I am persuaded, that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor powers, nor things present, nor things to come,
Rom 8:39  Nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature, shall be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.

Pro 31:12  She will do him good and not evil all the days of her life.

God’s intention for the bride of Christ is to have her “do good and not evil all the days of her life” unto him, meaning unto Christ. God sees the bride of Christ through Christ by whom we are accepted (Eph 1:6). So our new man in Christ can do nothing but “good and not evil all the days of her life” (1Jn 3:9).

Eph 1:6  To the praise of the glory of his grace, wherein he hath made us accepted in the beloved.

1Jn 3:9  Whosoever is born of God doth not commit sin; [“good and not evil all the days of her life”] for his seed remaineth in him: and he cannot sin, because he is born of God.

Our old man is decreasing as Christ increases (Joh 3:30, 1Jn 1:8), and the giants in the land are being overtaken by little and little (Exo 23:30-31, Deu 7:22), giving us strength to overcome and putting us in remembrance of who is doing the work within us, both to will and to do of His good pleasure, but as always it is a process that is promised to take our entire life (Php 2:12-13).

Joh 3:30  He must increase, but I must decrease.

1Jn 1:8  If we say that we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us.

Exo 23:30  By little and little I will drive them out from before thee, until thou be increased, and inherit the land. (Mat 24:13)

Deu 7:22  And the LORD thy God will put out those nations before thee by little and little: thou mayest not consume them at once, lest the beasts of the field increase upon thee.

Pro 31:13  She seeketh wool, and flax, and worketh willingly with her hands.

The “she” who is the church, the bride of Christ, does many detailed things, that we know represent what Christ is doing through us both to will and to do of God’s good pleasure, that we are working out by God’s spirit within us (Php 2:12-13, Zec 4:6).

Zec 4:6  Then he answered and spake unto me, saying, This is the word of the LORD unto Zerubbabel, saying, Not by might, nor by power, but by my spirit, saith the LORD of hosts.

It is done “willingly with her hands” because our hands are not our own (1Co 12:15), and our old carnal hands are being cut off, and our carnal eyes gouged out (Mat 18:8-9),  so that we can seek  “wool, and flax” that is meant to ‘cover our nakedness’ (Hos 2:9), and which represents the righteousness of Christ that we seek first through Christ’s body (Mat 6:33-34). These two fabrics mentioned demonstrate the witness of the righteousness of Christ that we are blessed to have a hunger and thirst for in this life (Rev 19:8, Mat 5:6). Having the fabric is one thing, even as having the faith, but when the fabric is woven into something practical, “worketh willingly with her hands”, it becomes precious, just as the trial of our faith does in God’s sight (1Pe 1:7).

1Co 12:15  If the foot shall say, Because I am not the hand, I am not of the body; is it therefore not of the body?

Rev 19:8  And to her was granted that she should be arrayed in fine linen, clean and white: for the fine linen is the righteousness of saints.

1Pe 1:7  That the trial of your faith, being much more precious than of gold that perisheth, though it be tried with fire, might be found unto praise and honour and glory at the appearing of Jesus Christ:

Pro 31:14  She is like the merchants’ ships; she bringeth her food from afar.

Notice the bride is likened unto a “merchants’ ship” who brings “her food from afar”.

There are negative merchant ships that ply the waters of Tyre carrying the adulterous lies of Babylon to every corner of the world and these ships go afar with the intention of making one proselyte, “and when he is made, ye make him twofold more the child of hell than yourselves”(Isa 23:1, Mat 23:15).

Isa 23:1  The burden of Tyre. Howl, ye ships of Tarshish; for it is laid waste, so that there is no house, no entering in: from the land of Chittim it is revealed to them.

Mat 23:15  Woe unto you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! for ye compass sea and land to make one proselyte, and when he is made, ye make him twofold more the child of hell than yourselves.

And then there is this diligent woman [Jerusalem above the mother of us all, the ‘mother ship’ as it were (Gal 4:26)] who does not stubbornly ‘go afar compassing sea and land to make one proselyte’, but rather by God’s grace and the faith of Christ (Jas 4:13-17) she diligently searches out the scriptures afar, to go whatever distance it takes (Mat 5:41, Jer 29:13, Heb 11:6) to understand the will of God and receives her food or spiritual increase from Him, who abundantly provides “her food from afar” that is made manifest in the church (Psa 145:18, Eph 3:10).

When Christ revealed himself in these two stories, (the blind man healed and cast out of the synagogue Joh 9:36-37, the woman of Samaria who meets Christ at the well Joh 4:25-26), he was not afar, but near as He always is . It is when we are blessed to be drawn to Christ (Joh 6:44) that the spirit bears witness with us that we are His sons (Rom 8:15-16) who have had our eyes and ears opened (1Co 13:12, 1Co 15:31). Being led then by the spirit is the key (Rom 8:14), whether we are taken near or far, we are always seeking a country even while we have the earnest of our inheritance “sealed with that holy spirit of promise” (Heb 11:9-10, Heb 11:14, Eph 1:13-14)

Heb 11:9  By faith he sojourned in the land of promise, as in a strange country, dwelling in tabernacles with Isaac and Jacob, the heirs with him of the same promise:
Heb 11:10  For he looked for a city which hath foundations, whose builder and maker is God.
Heb 11:11  Through faith also Sara herself received strength to conceive seed, and was delivered of a child when she was past age, because she judged him faithful who had promised.
Heb 11:12  Therefore sprang there even of one, and him as good as dead, so many as the stars of the sky in multitude, and as the sand which is by the sea shore innumerable.
Heb 11:13  These all died in faith, not having received the promises, but having seen them afar off, and were persuaded of them, and embraced them, and confessed that they were strangers and pilgrims on the earth.
Heb 11:14  For they that say such things declare plainly that they seek a country.

Pro 31:15  She riseth also while it is yet night, and giveth meat to her household, and a portion to her maidens.

Rising early, “She riseth also while it is yet night”, represents the diligent spirit that God is fashioning within the body of Christ who sacrifice their lives to be where they have to be, and when they have to be there for the body’s sake, which leads to spiritual liberty (Rom 8:14-16, 2Co 3:17, Mat 24:45-46).

Rom 8:14  For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, they are the sons of God.
Rom 8:15  For ye have not received the spirit of bondage again to fear; but ye have received the Spirit of adoption, whereby we cry, Abba, Father.
Rom 8:16  The Spirit itself beareth witness with our spirit, that we are the children of God:

2Co 3:17  Now the Lord is that Spirit: and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is liberty.

Mat 24:45  Who then is a faithful and wise servant, whom his lord hath made ruler over his household, to give them meat in due season?  [“and giveth meat to her household”]
Mat 24:46  Blessed is that servant, whom his lord when he cometh shall find so doing.

The “portion”^H2706 given to the maidens is telling us that what God gives us to give to each other is done so in the measure of faith that we each operate in (Rom 12:3), and every joint supplies (Eph 4:16) in providing for these “maidens”^H5291 who represent the maturing body of Christ.

Rom 12:3  For I say, through the grace given unto me, to every man that is among you, not to think of himself more highly than he ought to think; but to think soberly, according as God hath dealt to every man the measure of faith.

Eph 4:16  From whom the whole body fitly joined together and compacted by that which every joint supplieth, according to the effectual working in the measure of every part, maketh increase of the body unto the edifying of itself in love.

Rising “while it is yet night” symbolizes that because the light of Christ is in our lives, both the day and the night are the same unto us (Psa 139:12, 1Jn 4:17), and we can find ourselves being spiritually productive in this spiritually dead world that is lying in darkness. The darkness or unbelief of others is not going to prevent the faith of Christ from prevailing within the body of Christ (1Jn 5:19, Rom 3:3-4). God alone can use the evil circumstances, the darkness, for the good of the body of Christ, and so the light and darkness are His to use to His glory, and it is all for the elect’s sake (Isa 45:7, 2Co 4:15)

Psa 139:12  Yea, the darkness hideth not from thee; but the night shineth as the day: the darkness and the light are both alike to thee.

1Jn 4:17  Herein is our love made perfect, that we may have boldness in the day of judgment: because as he is, so are we in this world.(Rom 12:21)

1Jn 5:19  And we know that we are of God, and the whole world lieth in wickedness.

Rom 3:3  For what if some did not believe? shall their unbelief make the faith of God without effect?

The field is the world, which we are in but not part of (Mat 13:38, Joh 17:15-16), and while we are here we are to occupy or tend to His vineyard until Christ returns (Luk 19:13). Christ’s vineyard is in the world but not of it, so the field she is considering and buying is the Lord’s vineyard where there is a pearl of great price.

Mat 13:38  The field is the world; the good seed are the children of the kingdom; but the tares are the children of the wicked one;

Joh 17:15  I pray not that thou shouldest take them out of the world, but that thou shouldest keep them from the evil.
Joh 17:16  They are not of the world, even as I am not of the world.

Luk 19:13  And he called his ten servants, and delivered them ten pounds, and said unto them, Occupy till I come. [His holy vineyard, the church, where fruit is being borne to the glory of God (Joh 15:4, Joh 15:8)]

We are dragged to Christ (Joh 6:44) and as such are blessed to find the pearl of great price in this age (Mat 13:45-46). The land or field that is purchased is the positive use of the word “field” that we buy because we consider this ground or land that represents our bodies to be a holy habitation of our Father and Christ (1Ti 3:15, Exo 3:5, Col 1:27, Rom 8:9, Joh 14:20).

Mat 13:45  Again, the kingdom of heaven is like unto a merchant man, seeking goodly pearls:
Mat 13:46  Who, when he had found one pearl of great price, went and sold all that he had, and bought it.

1Ti 3:15  But if I tarry long, that thou mayest know how thou oughtest to behave thyself in the house of God, which is the church of the living God, the pillar and ground of the truth.

Exo 3:5  And he said, Draw not nigh hither: put off thy shoes from off thy feet, for the place whereon thou standest is holy ground.

Col 1:27  To whom God would make known what is the riches of the glory of this mystery among the Gentiles; which is Christ in you, the hope of glory:

Rom 8:9  But ye are not in the flesh, but in the Spirit, if so be that the Spirit of God dwell in you. Now if any man have not the Spirit of Christ, he is none of his.

Joh 14:20  At that day ye shall know that I am in my Father, and ye in me, and I in you.

It is in this holy place, the church, “the pillar and ground of the truth”, that we can, by the grace of God plant a vineyard and be as Christ (1Jn 4:17), being given the fruit of the holy spirit, “with the fruit of her hands she planteth a vineyard”. We water and plant but God is the one who gives the increase in this vineyard that belongs to Him (1Co 3:6, Eph 2:10).

1Co 3:6  I have planted, Apollos watered; but God gave the increase.

Eph 2:10  For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus unto good works, which God hath before ordained that we should walk in them.

The Lord will “Give her of the fruit of her hands”(Pro 31:31), which encourages us to know that God has an expected end for the bride of Christ (Jer 29:11) and that our labours “with the fruit of her hands she planteth a vineyard” are not in vain (1Co 15:58, Heb 6:10) and will bring forth much fruit as God gives this increase, “Give her of the fruit of her hands”(Mat 13:8-9).

Jer 29:11  For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, saith the LORD, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected end (Mat 13:8-9).

1Co 15:58  Therefore, my beloved brethren, be ye stedfast, unmoveable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, forasmuch as ye know that your labour is not in vain in the Lord.

Heb 6:10  For God is not unrighteous to forget your work and labour of love, which ye have shewed toward his name, in that ye have ministered to the saints, and do minister.

Mat 13:8  But other fell into good ground, and brought forth fruit, some an hundredfold, some sixtyfold, some thirtyfold.
Mat 13:9  Who hath ears to hear, let him hear. [100+60+30=190 fold= 19×10=190 meaning the day of the Lord 1 produces judgement 9 in our land 10 so that we can bring forth much fruit as His kind of first fruits]

Next week Lord willing, we will look into more of the “fruit of her hands” that Christ is accomplishing within His bride, within His vineyard.

Awesome Hands – part 41

“ The children of Israel were fruitful”

At the end of the book of Genesis, we looked into the meaning of the experience of forty days and forty nights and applied that to our “beginnings” with Christ.

We learned that this process is not exclusive to the children of God, but is inclusive to all of mankind in the Lord’s timing. Judgment simply starts at the house of God.

In this study, we are going to start in the book of Exodus, and Lord willing, we are going to learn much about the process that the Lord is working in all of mankind in His own timing as we leave behind our beginnings and move towards our Exodus from our slave masters.

“The children of Israel were fruitful”

As we left we last study we saw that the Pharaoh, typifying God the Father, gave permission to Joseph to keep his oath to his father Jacob to go and bury Jacob among his father’s.

Of course prior to all of this the same Pharaoh had given Joseph the power of the pharaoh aside form the throne itself.

Gen 41:40 Thou shalt be over my house, and according unto thy word shall all my people be ruled: only in the throne will I be greater than thou.
Gen 41:41 And Pharaoh said unto Joseph, See, I have set thee over all the land of Egypt.
Gen 41:42 And Pharaoh took off his ring from his hand, and put it upon Joseph’s hand, and arrayed him in vestures of fine linen, and put a gold chain about his neck;
Gen 41:43 And he made him to ride in the second chariot which he had; and they cried before him, Bow the knee: and he made him ruler over all the land of Egypt.
Gen 41:44 And Pharaoh said unto Joseph, I am Pharaoh, and without thee shall no man lift up his hand or foot in all the land of Egypt.

Additionally, Joseph was promised that no man in all the land of Egypt would be given the power to so much as lift his hand or foot up outside of Joseph.

Given that we have covered that Joseph is a type of Christ, then we know that Israel was redeemed and given salvation via what the Father had caused to happen in Joseph’s life.

By extension, all of Israel was given life because even as they did evil in the sight of the Lord, the Lord caused these things to happen because he “meant them for good”.

We actually saw this pattern happen in Genesis, and Exodus is simply going to expound and express this same process as we progress through the book.

Lord willing, we are going to see the workings of the awesome hands of the Lord in our lives. While the word “yad” or hand will nto specifically be mentioned in the first chapter, we will read this chapter today so that we can have the stage set for everything else that follows.

Notice, Joseph i. ee Christ, us told that “only in the throne will the Pharaoh be greater than Joseph”.

With Christ’s ministry, He reflected the same thought in the Spirit.

Joh 14:27 Peace I leave with you, my peace I give unto you: not as the world giveth, give I unto you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid.
Joh 14:28 Ye have heard how I said unto you, I go away, and come again unto you. If ye loved me, ye would rejoice, because I said, I go unto the Father: for my Father is greater than I.
Joh 14:29 And now I have told you before it come to pass, that, when it is come to pass, ye might believe.

Just like Noah building the arc, we too are being built up with the Words that are spoken in the Word of God, and God is building up His spiritual temple so that He can sit on the throne of our hearts.

The arc represents the salvation that is going to be brought to God’s people, a generation that is being separated from those of the rest of the world and is no different than Joseph being used to “save much people alive” except in the quantity of the people being given salvation.

Bringing this thought back into focus as it pertains to Israel, notice what the Lord causes to happen with the children of Israel as they are living in Egypt under the Pharaoh’s rule.

Exo 1:5 And all the souls that came out of the loins of Jacob were seventy souls: for Joseph was in Egypt already.
Exo 1:6 And Joseph died, and all his brethren, and all that generation.
Exo 1:7 And the children of Israel were fruitful, and increased abundantly, and multiplied, and waxed exceeding mighty; and the land was filled with them.
Exo 1:8 Now there arose up a new king over Egypt, which knew not Joseph.

Likewise, what was Adam before him told?

Gen 1:27 So God created man in his own image, in the image of God created he him; male and female created he them.
Gen 1:28 And God blessed them, and God said unto them, Be fruitful, and multiply, and replenish the earth, and subdue it: and have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over every living thing that moveth upon the earth.
Gen 1:29 And God said, Behold, I have given you every herb bearing seed, which is upon the face of all the earth, and every tree, in the which is the fruit of a tree yielding seed; to you it shall be for meat.
Gen 1:30 And to every beast of the earth, and to every fowl of the air, and to every thing that creepeth upon the earth, wherein there is life, I have given every green herb for meat: and it was so.
Gen 1:31 And God saw every thing that he had made, and, behold, it was very good. And the evening and the morning were the sixth day.

What did God tell Noah?

Gen 9:1 And God blessed Noah and his sons, and said unto them, Be fruitful, and multiply, and replenish the earth.
Gen 9:2 And the fear of you and the dread of you shall be upon every beast of the earth, and upon every fowl of the air, upon all that moveth upon the earth, and upon all the fishes of the sea; into your hand are they delivered.
Gen 9:3 Every moving thing that liveth shall be meat for you; even as the green herb have I given you all things.
Gen 9:4 But flesh with the life thereof, which is the blood thereof, shall ye not eat.

Finally, we see a similar command given to Israel (the Father and the people).

Gen 35:10 And God said unto him, Thy name is Jacob: thy name shall not be called any more Jacob, but Israel shall be thy name: and he called his name Israel.
Gen 35:11 And God said unto him, I am God Almighty: be fruitful and multiply; a nation and a company of nations shall be of thee, and kings shall come out of thy loins;
Gen 35:12 And the land which I gave Abraham and Isaac, to thee I will give it, and to thy seed after thee will I give the land.

We are reading a progression in how the Lord is dealing with all of mankind. It first starts with the Head and then moves to the body.

What starts at the Head can be seen in type in the first Adam, in that first God grows us up spiritually speaking, as babes in Christ. We start with the milk of the Word and progress to being able to digest more of the “afflictions of the Christ”.

The first Adam (and Eve) is told to be fruitful and multiply, replenish the earth, subdue it, and the green herb shall be meat for you. Also, have dominion over the fish of the sea, the fowls of the air, and the beasts of the earth.

Then, this type progress’ to Noah in that Noah and his sons are blessed with the same blessing and are told to multiply and replenish the earth, and also the FEAR and DREAD of you shall be upon the beasts, the fowls of the air and the fishes of the sea and in our HAND they are delivered.

Notice, we are given every moving thing that liveth to be meat for us. This includes the BEASTS of the field because in type, the things that happen to seem not so good for our flesh is actually NOURISHMENT for the spiritual new man.

Lastly, Jacob is renamed to Israel and is given the same blessing. Only this time, nations shall be among the fruit and the entire Land will be given to Israel AND those who are “of Israel’s seed”.

With all that in mind, who is Israel and why am I bringing this all up on context of this study on Exodus?

Mat 15:24 But he answered and said, I am not sent but unto the lost sheep of the house of Israel.

Luk 15:4 What man of you, having an hundred sheep, if he lose one of them, doth not leave the ninety and nine in the wilderness, and go after that which is lost, until he find it?
Luk 15:5 And when he hath found it, he layeth it on his shoulders, rejoicing.

Act 5:31 Him hath God exalted with his right hand to be a Prince and a Saviour, for to give repentance to Israel, and forgiveness of sins.
Act 5:32 And we are his witnesses of these things; and so is also the Holy Ghost, whom God hath given to them that obey him.

“Let us deal wisely with them”

When we are first truly dragged to God the Father in the Spirit, we are first nourished up as babes in Christ, who are given the sincere milk of the Word, but then as we mature we are given to eat herbs and then meat.

After milk, we are only given herbs because it takes a little while to learn to digest things which we are not accustomed to. Then, we are given meat and herbs together. The very beasts we eat also eat the herbs we are allowed to eat.

The “third type of consumption,” however, is going to be the very land itself but there must first come a very grievous Exodus from what we have known prior to this land being given to us.

Joh 6:47 Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that believeth on me hath everlasting life.
Joh 6:48 I am that bread of life.
Joh 6:49 Your fathers did eat manna in the wilderness, and are dead.
Joh 6:50 This is the bread which cometh down from heaven, that a man may eat thereof, and not die.
Joh 6:51 I am the living bread which came down from heaven: if any man eat of this bread, he shall live for ever: and the bread that I will give is my flesh, which I will give for the life of the world.
Joh 6:52 The Jews therefore strove among themselves, saying, How can this man give us his flesh to eat?
Joh 6:53 Then Jesus said unto them, Verily, verily, I say unto you, Except ye eat the flesh of the Son of man, and drink his blood, ye have no life in you.

There is going to be a time come in all of mankind’s walk with God (whether in this age or the next), and it starts at the house of God, where God will take the situation and the circumstances He has caused in our lives, so that He will use them to the flip our worlds upside down.

When this happens, it will be the same experience which is befalling God’s called out people who have been CALLED into Egypt. With Egypt, we know that spiritually speaking it is equivalent to Babylon. With Babylon, we are called out of her.

So, when you connect the spiritual concept that Israel is called out of Egypt to make an Exodus, you will see that this is the SAME as God’s chosen people being called out of her so that they can go onto perfection and possess the land.

However, what must happen first?

We are Christ’s flesh and we are washed with His blood and in order to to have LIFE in us, we must eat of this flesh and drink of His blood. In other words, we must partake of the cup He drinks out of.

Joh 6:55 For my flesh is meat indeed, and my blood is drink indeed.
Joh 6:56 He that eateth my flesh, and drinketh my blood, dwelleth in me, and I in him.
Joh 6:57 As the living Father hath sent me, and I live by the Father: so he that eateth me, even he shall live by me.
Joh 6:58 This is that bread which came down from heaven: not as your fathers did eat manna, and are dead: he that eateth of this bread shall live for ever.

Before you think I need to be shipped off to the looney bin like they Pharisees thought of Christ, “How can this man give us his flesh to eat?” (Joh 6:52), let’s see how this ties into how God actually makes this come about.

Exo 1:8 Now there arose up a new king over Egypt, which knew not Joseph.
Exo 1:9 And he said unto his people, Behold, the people of the children of Israel are more and mightier than we:
Exo 1:10 Come on, let us deal wisely with them; lest they multiply, and it come to pass, that, when there falleth out any war, they join also unto our enemies, and fight against us, and so get them up out of the land.
Exo 1:11 Therefore they did set over them taskmasters to afflict them with their burdens. And they built for Pharaoh treasure cities, Pithom and Raamses.
Exo 1:12 But the more they afflicted them, the more they multiplied and grew. And they were grieved because of the children of Israel.
Exo 1:13 And the Egyptians made the children of Israel to serve with rigour:
Exo 1:14 And they made their lives bitter with hard bondage, in morter, and in brick, and in all manner of service in the field: all their service, wherein they made them serve, was with rigour.

Hearkening back to how God has orchestrated this whole scenario, let us look at what He first told Adam.

Gen 3:18 Thorns also and thistles shall it bring forth to thee; and thou shalt eat the herb of the field;
Gen 3:19 In the sweat of thy face shalt thou eat bread, till thou return unto the ground; for out of it wast thou taken: for dust thou art, and unto dust shalt thou return.

Now we see another king of Egypt, one who doesn’t know Joseph i. e. Christ, who sets taskmasters over the children of Israel to afflict them but as they are afflicted they are more increased and grown up into the people of God.

Act 14:22 Confirming the souls of the disciples, and exhorting them to continue in the faith, and that we must through much tribulation enter into the kingdom of God.
Act 14:23 And when they had ordained them elders in every church, and had prayed with fasting, they commended them to the Lord, on whom they believed.

The Lord is building up His people because the Lord knows what is ahead as they are about to be called up and out of Egyptinto the wilderness and the wilderness will not be an easy experience for them.

However, in the “here and now” of what they are experiencing in Egypt at this time, they are made to serve with rigour of which it is easy to conclude that they did not ENJOY it.

This is not different than Joseph having to go through his man trials to get to the thrown. Now, in a different way of expressing this truth, we are shown that God’s people will go through this Exodus process from Egypt to eventually having their Savior placed on the throne of their hearts and minds.

This is the True Bread from Heaven, but it requires drinking of the cup of the wrath of God which is upon all flesh initially.

“The midwives feared God”

Once this union is made between the True bread from heaven and the children of God, there is only one thing that is left to attack by those who are “of the world” or of those who are not of God’s people.

When Christ is on the throne, there will be sons of God born. Not on that, but as those sons fo God grow, there will be fruit which comes about because of this union.

In the letter and on the surface, we are starting to talk about God’s people in Exodus chapter 1 as God works with them while they are being prepared to migrate from Egypt.

In the Spirit and within the kingdom of God, we know that these circumstances are admonishments for us in what God is doing with each and every one of His people.

What He is doing is uniting the bride of Christ with the Groom, and this produces much fruit despite what the world can throw at those who are in Christ and Christ in them.

Gal 5:22 But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith,
Gal 5:23 Meekness, temperance: against such there is no law.
Gal 5:24 And they that are Christ’s have crucified the flesh with the affections and lusts.
Gal 5:25 If we live in the Spirit, let us also walk in the Spirit.

Eph 5:8 For ye were sometimes darkness, but now are ye light in the Lord: walk as children of light:
Eph 5:9 (For the fruit of the Spirit is in all goodness and righteousness and truth;)
Eph 5:10 Proving what is acceptable unto the Lord.
Eph 5:11 And have no fellowship with the unfruitful works of darkness, but rather reprove them.

We haven’t arrived at the law of Moses being instituted, but we are building up to it and you’ll notice that the law is setup as a schoolmaster for us initially just like taskmasters are initially setup over us to PRODUCE growth.

Gal 3:24 Wherefore the law was our schoolmaster to bring us unto Christ, that we might be justified by faith.
Gal 3:25 But after that faith is come, we are no longer under a schoolmaster.
Gal 3:26 For ye are all the children of God by faith in Christ Jesus.
Gal 3:27 For as many of you as have been baptized into Christ have put on Christ.

After we are built up and multiply “in the Spirit”, the Fruit which is produced is the only thing that can possibly be attacked, but even that is futile for the flesh and carnal mind.

Exo 1:15 And the king of Egypt spake to the Hebrew midwives, of which the name of the one was Shiphrah, and the name of the other Puah:
Exo 1:16 And he said, When ye do the office of a midwife to the Hebrew women, and see them upon the stools; if it be a son, then ye shall kill him: but if it be a daughter, then she shall live.
Exo 1:17 But the midwives feared God, and did not as the king of Egypt commanded them, but saved the men children alive.
Exo 1:18 And the king of Egypt called for the midwives, and said unto them, Why have ye done this thing, and have saved the men children alive?
Exo 1:19 And the midwives said unto Pharaoh, Because the Hebrew women are not as the Egyptian women; for they are lively, and are delivered ere the midwives come in unto them.
Exo 1:20 Therefore God dealt well with the midwives: and the people multiplied, and waxed very mighty.
Exo 1:21 And it came to pass, because the midwives feared God, that he made them houses.

The Pharaoh ordered that Shiphrah, which means “fair” or “glisten” and Puah, which means “glitter” or “splendid” to kill the sons of the Hebrews.

However, if you recognize who these midwives are in Spirit, then you will understand why God orchestrated this whole event I order to admonish us by it.

Psa 56:3 What time I am afraid, I will trust in thee.
Psa 56:4 In God I will praise his word, in God I have put my trust; I will not fear what flesh can do unto me.

Isa 41:13 For I the LORD thy God will hold thy right hand, saying unto thee, Fear not; I will help thee.
Isa 41:14 Fear not, thou worm Jacob, and ye men of Israel; I will help thee, saith the LORD, and thy redeemer, the Holy One of Israel.

2Co 7:1 Having therefore these promises, dearly beloved, let us cleanse ourselves from all filthiness of the flesh and spirit, perfecting holiness in the fear of God.

Rev 14:7 Saying with a loud voice, Fear God, and give glory to him; for the hour of his judgment is come: and worship him that made heaven, and earth, and the sea, and the fountains of waters.

Exo 1:17 But the midwives feared God, and did not as the king of Egypt commanded them, but saved the men children alive.

It is through this very process, that a redeemer is sent to Israel, the people of God. God uses His “midwives” to bring forth the Truth of the Word of God as the pillars in His temple. As such, God BLESSES them with “houses,”…. Houses which are not built with a man’s hands! Amen

Exo 1:22 And Pharaoh charged all his people, saying, Every son that is born ye shall cast into the river, and every daughter ye shall save alive.

There is a King coming to us through this process, just as was told to us by one of those sons “cast into the river” and in type, baptized by the same, a river of water of LIFE and salvation.

Deu 18:15 The LORD thy God will raise up unto thee a Prophet from the midst of thee, of thy brethren, like unto me; unto him ye shall hearken;

Rev 22:1 And he shewed me a pure river of water of life, clear as crystal, proceeding out of the throne of God and of the Lamb.

Next study, we will continue to see how a child is born up despite “the ruler of the time” trying to kill him at a young age. This happens to Moses as he was born and this happens to Christ from king Herod as he is born.

However, God has blessed His elect to be able to know that their redeemer lives in His prophets and prophetesses and there is nothing we have to fear of what flesh can do to us.

We should all take great joy in knowing that we are used as “spiritual midwives” in this glorious plan of our Father in Heaven!
