From Whence Are His Elect?

Print Friendly, PDF & Email

Hi R____,
As usual God has given you eyes to see. I must say that I had not thought that far, but now that you mention it, it was Judah himself, the man who wanted to burn his own daughter- in- law alive, who was used to “raise up seed” to his own dead son. And it was through Pharez, the the firstborn of the twins which came of this union, that “Christ according to the flesh” was born.
How true it is that all those who are proven to be God’s elect first go from church to church before they are given living waters by Christ Himself: But that practice stops when we are finally given to our True Husband:

Joh 4:16  Jesus saith unto her, Go, call thy husband, and come hither.
Joh 4:17  The woman answered and said, I have no husband. Jesus said unto her, Thou hast well said, I have no husband:
Joh 4:18  For thou hast had five husbands; and he whom thou now hast is not thy husband: in that saidst thou truly.
Joh 4:19  The woman saith unto him, Sir, I perceive that thou art a prophet.

The fact that this Samaritan woman at the well had not bothered to marry this sixth man tells us that her heart was being prepared to marry her True Husband. “He whom you now have is not your husband.’
I’m sure you have noticed that many of  the patriarchs met their wives at wells, signifying where we meet our husband, Christ, at the deep well of His word.
Thanks again for sharing with me what the spirit shared with you.
Mike
