Deu 7:3-4 Neither Shalt thou Make Marriages with Them - Discussion
Deu 7:3 Neither shalt thou make marriages with them; thy daughter thou shalt not give unto his son, nor his daughter shalt thou take unto thy son.
Deu 7:4 For they will turn away thy son from following me, that they may serve other gods: so will the anger of the LORD be kindled against you, and destroy thee suddenly.
We are commanded not to marry or unite to the seven nations because these seven nations will turn us from the truth of who the law of the flesh says we are. These seven nations will take their daughters, new doctrines, and unite them to our sons, image of Christ, and from the union of the two make a new man in the flesh, the man of sin, the son of perdition. The word perdition means;
G684
ἀπώλεια
apōleia
ap-o'-li-a
From a presumed derivative of G622; ruin or loss (physical, spiritual or eternal): - damnable (-nation), destruction, die, perdition, X perish, pernicious ways, waste.
Total KJV occurrences: 20
We have united the law of the flesh, which testified against me, and united it with the seven nations that testify for the flesh. From this union we have brought forth a "son of perdition".
2Th 2:3 Let no man deceive you by any means: for that day shall not come, except there come a falling away first, and that man of sin be revealed, the son of perdition;
2Th 2:4 Who opposeth and exalteth himself above all that is called God, or that is worshipped; so that he as God sitteth in the temple of God, shewing himself that he is God.
This son is what we try to use as our cleaning up process. We try to use this union between an unclean man and the doctrine of an unclean man to make a clean man. The testimony of the law against us is in fact unclean to me as a man because it testifies of my uncleanness from birth, born in Adam, who is unclean. I then take that testimony of uncleanness and unite it together with the doctrines of the unclean seven nations and create a SON of Perdition, a son of damnation.
Mar 3:22 And the scribes which came down from Jerusalem (which, if we remember from the study on the Jebusites, Jerusalem was called Jebus, a polluted place, before it was called Jerusalem-city of peace. Pollution is uncleanness) said, He hath Beelzebub, and by the prince of the devils casteth he out devils.
Mar 3:23 And he called them unto him, and said unto them in parables, How can Satan (an unclean spirit) cast out Satan (an unclean spirit)?
How can Satan, who is unclean, cast out or make himself clean? He cannot, because his Creator created him unclean, as he did us.
Mar 3:24 And if a kingdom be divided against itself, that kingdom cannot stand.
Mar 3:25 And if a house be divided against itself, that house cannot stand.
Mar 3:26 And if Satan rise up against himself, and be divided, he cannot stand, but hath an end.
Mar 3:27 No man can enter into a strong man's house, and spoil his goods, except he will first bind the strong man; and then he will spoil his house.
Why does Christ compare Satan to a strong man? What strength does Satan possess that has to be bound? He has the law of the flesh. The law acts as a strength to Satan because the law shows sin and gives power to the person to think that through the law they can make themselves sinless. When a person believes that only by the law or any religious acts can he be forgiven, he is still under the law of sin. When we believe that we are free from literal sins by keeping the law, we have blasphemed the Holy Spirit. When we believe we can clean ourselves up, unclean spirit coming out of man, cleaning up an unclean man, we are denying the power of God in the law of the spirit.
1Co 15:56 The sting of death is sin; and the strength of sin is the law.
Joh 6:63 It is the spirit that quickeneth; the flesh profiteth nothing: the words that I speak unto you, they are spirit, and they are life.
The law of the flesh in the ten commandments was spoken in spirit to a fleshly people, to testify AGAINST us, not for us. The law was not given to be kept but to tesify against our flesh, so that we could be humbled by it.
Gal 3:19 Wherefore then serveth the law? It was added because of transgressions, till the seed should come to whom the promise was made; and it was ordained by angels in the hand of a mediator.
1Ti 1:9 Knowing this, that the law is not made for a righteous man, but for the lawless and disobedient, for the ungodly and for sinners, for unholy and profane, for murderers of fathers and murderers of mothers, for manslayers,
1Ti 1:10 For whoremongers, for them that defile themselves with mankind, for menstealers, for liars, for perjured persons, and if there be any other thing that is contrary to sound doctrine;
1Ti 1:11 According to the glorious gospel of the blessed God, which was committed to my trust.
1Ti 1:12 And I thank Christ Jesus our Lord, who hath enabled me, for that he counted me faithful, putting me into the ministry;
1Ti 1:13 Who was before a blasphemer, and a persecutor, and injurious: but I obtained mercy, because I did it ignorantly in unbelief.
1Ti 1:14 And the grace of our Lord was exceeding abundant with faith and love which is in Christ Jesus.
1Ti 1:15 This is a faithful saying, and worthy of all acceptation, that Christ Jesus came into the world to save sinners; of whom I am chief.
There is not one religious doctrine on the seven continents of the earth that rises from the seas which does not contain the mixing of the law of God with the doctrines of man testifying for himself. All religions that exist or have existed are based on this principal;
"To prostrate man before man, before clayey soil by publicly peddling Babylons doctrines of humiliation in open shame."
We are being delivered from these doctrines now in this aion, so that we can be recreated into the kings and priests of God that are ordained to rule the world for a 1000 years.
Rom 8:1 There is therefore now no condemnation to them which are in Christ Jesus (who are being recreated), who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit.
Rom 8:2 For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus hath made me free from the law of sin and death. (This is the binding of Satan)
Rom 8:3 For what the law could not do (bind Satan), in that it was weak through the flesh, God sending his own Son in the likeness of sinful flesh, and for sin, condemned sin in the flesh:
Rom 8:4 That the righteousness of the law might be fulfilled in us, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit.
Rom 8:5 For they that are after the flesh do mind the things of the flesh; but they that are after the Spirit the things of the Spirit.
Rom 8:6 For to be carnally minded is death; but to be spiritually minded is life and peace.
The best example I can give of the reality of these verses is a personal one. I went to many AA meetings, and there were countless older people who would say they had been sober for many years and yet still confessed they were alcoholics. They said they used the twelve-step program to get sober, and it was because of their working the program did they remain sober. One particular gentleman had not had a drink in 25 years, yet still said he was an alcoholic. My point being, they never bound the strong man. They still saw themselves as alcoholics because they call it a disease. They do not have forgiveness of sins through the law of the spirit because they are still under the law of the flesh. The strong man still has the power of keeping his house protected from the Stronger man, Christ, because the person's house is still under the law of the flesh - freewill choices. If Christ gives us freedom from the law of the flesh, freedom from the strong man's unclean doctrine of freewill, our sins are forgiven. But, if we claim the unclean spirits are cast out by unclean doctrines, then we have no forgiveness. We have blasphemed the law of the Spirit, the authority of Christ to bind the strong man, our sin remains, and we confess that we have bound the strong man when the strong man is the one doing the confessing!
Mat 15:10 And he called the multitude, and said unto them, Hear, and understand:
Mat 15:11 Not that which goeth into the mouth defileth a man; but that which cometh out of the mouth, this defileth a man.
What comes out of our heart is spoken by our mouth, and this is what's unclean.
Mat 15:18 But those things which proceed out of the mouth come forth from the heart; and they defile the man.
Freedom can only come through the Spirit of Christ. He and He alone is the strong man that binds Satan for a 1000 symbolic years in my earth, not able to deceive me by unclean doctrines until the completion of the flesh has been done (10x10x10 the process of the complete judgement of the flesh, 1000 years). [For a study on the number ten Click here.] When this period is complete, Satan shall be loosed out of his prison to gather all that he has in his arsenal against us, and the fire of God's word in the mouth of Jesus Christ our Head, shall come down from our heaven and consume all fleshly doctrine that Satan has against us. Christ's words of truth are spirit, and those holy spiritual words are what sets us free. If Satan's unclean doctrines are not first bound by the Spirit of Christ's truths, we cannot be set free from self worship, which is the worship of the beast, Satan.
Rev 13:8 And all that dwell upon the earth shall worship him, whose names are not written in the book of life of the Lamb slain from the foundation of the world.
Rev 13:9 If any man have an ear, let him hear.
Rev 13:10 He that leadeth into captivity shall go into captivity: he that killeth with the sword must be killed with the sword. Here is the patience and the faith of the saints.Rev 13:16 And he causeth all, both small and great, rich and poor, free and bond, to receive a mark in their right hand, or in their foreheads:
Rev 13:17 And that no man might buy or sell, save he that had the mark, or the name of the beast, or the number of his name.Mar 3:28 'Verily I say to you, that all the sins shall be forgiven to the sons of men, and evil speakings with which they might speak evil,
Mar 3:29 but whoever may speak evil in regard to the Holy Spirit hath not forgiveness—to the age, but is in danger of age-during judgment;'
Mar 3:30 because they said, 'He hath an unclean spirit.' (YLT)
All flesh will die a physical death and all carnal minds, unclean spirits, shall suffer spiritual death, the second death, in the flames of the words of God to purify them in the age of the lake of fire. We, the Elect, are being purified now. Our strong man has been bound, we have received the knowledge of the truth and are being set free from the law of the flesh. Trying to obtain righteousness by the law of the flesh, which is the strength of Satan, the strong man of our house, "who can make war against the beast", is an impossibility because the house belongs to him. He has power because of the law, but he is not the creator of the man. He thinks he is and quotes from Jeremiah as though speaking of himself.
Luk 4:5 And the devil, taking him up into an high mountain, shewed unto him all the kingdoms of the world in a moment of time.
Luk 4:6 And the devil said unto him, All this power will I give thee, and the glory of them: for that is delivered unto me; and to whomsoever I will I give it. (Jer 27:5)
Luk 4:7 If thou therefore wilt worship me, all shall be thine.
Luk 4:8 And Jesus answered and said unto him, Get thee behind me, Satan: for it is written, Thou shalt worship the Lord thy God, and him only shalt thou serve.
We can take a delight in the law of God, think we are from our hearts serving God by the law, and yet we are still in Satan's house. At that point we still have not seen that flesh itself is sin. The unclean cannot make something clean, we cannot cast out Satan by Satan, Satan cannot create. When we think we can remove our sins by the power of free will we have blasphemed the power of the Spirit of Christ which binds Satan, the strong man of our house. When Christ told Satan, "Get thee behind me, Satan", He bound Satan by the Spirit of His Father and used the Key of David to open what cannot be shut, "Thou shalt worship the Lord thy God, and him only shalt thou serve."
The greatest freedom we have is to acknowledge we are slaves of sin, under the power and authority of Satan and cannot do anything in and of ourselves. If Christ, the Stronger Man, figuratively does not bind Satan, the strong man, then we will never be free. Believing in free moral agency is believing man is a clean moral agent, and we should know that whatever morality we have comes from the self-centered preservation of the person to consume upon his own lust, even our good morals are unclean. Believing in free moral agency is blaspheming the power of the Holy Spirit of Christ and denying His authority over all spirits and flesh. To deny this power is to seal a person's aion in the lake of fire for purification from this carnal mind. Deliverance only comes when we are shown that we are slaves to our flesh and under the power of Satan from birth; then and only then can we be given freedom.
Jer 27:1 In the beginning of the reign of Jehoiakim the son of Josiah king of Judah came this word unto Jeremiah from the LORD, saying,
Jer 27:2 Thus saith the LORD to me; Make thee bonds and yokes, and put them upon thy neck,
Jer 27:3 And send them to the king of Edom, and to the king of Moab, and to the king of the Ammonites, and to the king of Tyrus, and to the king of Zidon, by the hand of the messengers which come to Jerusalem unto Zedekiah king of Judah;
Jer 27:4 And command them to say unto their masters, Thus saith the LORD of hosts, the God of Israel; Thus shall ye say unto your masters;
Jer 27:5 I have made the earth, the man and the beast that are upon the ground, by my great power and by my outstretched arm, and have given it unto whom it seemed meet unto me. (This is what Satan quotes in Luke 4:6)
Jer 27:6 And now have I given all these lands into the hand of Nebuchadnezzar the king of Babylon, my servant (Satan); and the beasts of the field have I given him also to serve him.
Jer 27:7 And all nations shall serve him, and his son, and his son's son, until the very time of his land come: and then many nations and great kings shall serve themselves of him.
Jer 27:8 And it shall come to pass, that the nation and kingdom which will not serve the same Nebuchadnezzar the king of Babylon, and that will not put their neck under the yoke of the king of Babylon, that nation will I punish, saith the LORD, with the sword, and with the famine, and with the pestilence, until I have consumed them by his hand.
Jer 27:9 Therefore hearken not ye to your prophets, nor to your diviners, nor to your dreamers, nor to your enchanters, nor to your sorcerers, which speak unto you, saying, Ye shall not serve the king of Babylon: (because we were put under him by the law of the flesh)
Jer 27:10 For they prophesy a lie unto you, to remove you far from your land; and that I should drive you out, and ye should perish.
Jer 27:11 But the nations that bring their neck under the yoke of the king of Babylon, and serve him, those will I let remain still in their own land, saith the LORD; and they shall till it, and dwell therein.
Putting your neck under the yoke of the king of Babylon is confessing your sinfulness and bondage to the flesh. It is confessing that no matter what we do, good or evil, it for the purpose of serving the flesh, which is serving Satan, the strong man of our house. Even our delight in the law is a delight for the purpose of consuming our lusts on the flesh. All the religious ceremonies we do, no matter how good they may seem, are for the purpose of worshiping the flesh. When we see ourselves as the law testifies against us, our house is never swept, cleaned up or garnished because the flesh is unclean and never garnished. Seeing yourself as swept, clean and garnished is seeing yourself in a self-righteous light.
Rom 7:22 For I delight in the law of God after the inward man:
Rom 7:23 But I see another law in my members, warring against the law of my mind, and bringing me into captivity to the law of sin which is in my members.
Rom 7:24 O wretched man that I am! who shall deliver me from the body of this death?
Rom 7:25 I thank God through Jesus Christ our Lord. So then with the mind I myself serve the law of God; but with the flesh the law of sin.
Rom 8:1 There is therefore now no condemnation to them which are in Christ Jesus, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit.
Rom 8:2 For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus hath made me free from the law of sin and death.
Rom 8:3 For what the law could not do, in that it was weak through the flesh, God sending his own Son in the likeness of sinful flesh, and for sin, condemned sin in the flesh:
Rom 8:4 That the righteousness of the law might be fulfilled in us, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit.
These verses above showed how the strong man is bound, by a Stronger Man, the Spirit of Christ.
Mat 12:43 When the unclean spirit is gone out of a man, he walketh through dry places, seeking rest, and findeth none.
Mat 12:44 Then he saith, I will return into my house from whence I came out; and when he is come, he findeth it empty, swept, and garnished.
Mat 12:45 Then goeth he, and taketh with himself seven other spirits more wicked than himself, and they enter in and dwell there: and the last state of that man is worse than the first. Even so shall it be also unto this wicked generation.
When we think we have cleaned ourselves up from sins of the flesh - lying, cheating, stealing, etc. - by our free will, we have figuratively cleaned our house, swept it and garnished it. Yet the unclean spirit returns with a vengeance. The stopping of fleshly sins only gives him a stronger foothold in greater sins, the same lying, cheating and stealing is now from God Himself, "O generation of vipers, how can ye, being evil, speak good things?"...,"an evil man out of the evil treasure bringeth forth evil things." An unclean Adam cannot produce a clean Adam. We are blaspheming the Holy spirit when we think we have free will and are able to clean ourselves up. It is a worse condition, "the last state of that man is worse than the first", to be a self-righteous religious person than it is to be a drunk who knows he is a drunk.
The seven other unclean spirits, together with the one which left, make up the negative application of the number eight - the new religious man. This man then publicly worships and peddles his doctrines of Babylon in the rehearsing of his transformation in an open shame by claiming free will. We do not realize that we have been given over by God to Babylon, to put our necks under the yoke of Babylon. Whether we are in a literal drunken condition or spiritually drunk on the doctrines of Babylon, we are there by the hand of our Creator.
The literal nation of Israel entered the promised land, the land of Canaan where there were seven nations, and intermingled with them, creating the eighth nation, a new nation which was a combination of the the seven. Israel brought into these nations the law of God, and by that very law a new man was created, a religious man, the new man of the flesh, the eighth. They took on the ways of the seven nations and still tried to keep some semblance of what they were taught. This is what we do. We get the knowledge of religion, we think we clean ourselves up by it, and then we become a GREATER beast than we were before we ever began, "and the last state of that man is worse than the first. Even so shall it be also unto this wicked generation". But this is a necessary step before we are truly set free by the power of the spirit of Christ. In our bondage comes freedom.
Jer 27:11 But the nations that bring their neck under the yoke of the king of Babylon, and serve him, those will I let remain still in their own land, saith the LORD; and they shall till it, and dwell therein.
Making a union with the seven nations is making the son of perdition, and he will turn us from following the truth and we end up worshiping ourselves as a god. This is a stage we as the elect will go through and will suffer death in this union for the purpose of being recreated into the image of Christ.
This destruction from God is the process of killing the seven nations after they have been united to the one nation. We cannot see the seven without the one, and together they think they have swept and garnished their home and made a new man. This man is the man of sin who must be destroyed and made into a new man. We are in the hand of the Potter, and this process of being made marred and then remade is the process which the elect must go through as they are molded into the new creation. We do not bow to the doctrines of Babylon to be made into the image of Christ. No, God uses those very doctrines to destroy what we think we are so that we can turn from the flesh, REPENT, and trust in Christ and Christ alone.
Jer 18:2 Arise, and go down to the potter's house, and there I will cause thee to hear my words.
Jer 18:3 Then I went down to the potter's house, and, behold, he wrought a work on the wheels.
Jer 18:4 And the vessel that he made of clay was marred in the hand of the potter: so he made it again another vessel, as seemed good to the potter to make it.
Jer 18:5 Then the word of the LORD came to me, saying,
Jer 18:6 O house of Israel, cannot I do with you as this potter? saith the LORD. Behold, as the clay is in the potter's hand, so are ye in mine hand, O house of Israel.
Next week, LORD willing, we will cover;
Deu 7:5 But thus shall ye deal with them; ye shall destroy their altars, and break down their images, and cut down their groves, and burn their graven images with fire.
Deu 7:6 For thou art an holy people unto the LORD thy God: the LORD thy God hath chosen thee to be a special people unto himself, above all people that are upon the face of the earth.
