Deuteronomy - Deu 7:1 Who are the Hivites?

Deu 7:1  When the LORD thy God shall bring thee into the land whither thou goest to possess it, and hath cast out many nations before thee, the Hittites, and the Girgashites, and the Amorites, and the Canaanites, and the Perizzites, and the Hivites, and the Jebusites, seven nations greater and mightier than thou;

Today, LORD willing, we will find out what a Hivite represents spiritually inside us.

Perhaps from H2333; a villager; a Chivvite, one of the aboriginal tribes of Palestine: - Hivite.
Total KJV occurrences: 25
Properly the same as H2332 (lifegiving, that is, living place); by implication an encampment or village: - (small) town.
Total KJV occurrences: 4
Causative from H2331; lifegiver; Chavvah (or Eve), the first woman: - Eve.
Total KJV occurrences: 2

So the word for Hivite, "khiv-ee" comes from "khav-vaw" which means "Eve", the original lifegiver;

Gen 3:20  And Adam called his wife's name Eve; because she was the mother of all living.

A Hivite is the false church from which we think we come. We see that the church, which Eve represents, is the mother, or life-giver, of all. We do not see Christ, the husband as the life-giver but the church. This is common Babylonian doctrine that from the beginning has infiltrated the world. The woman has always been revered as the life-giver, not the man. The world has always had it backwords in this false doctrine. Even though nature itself teaches the truth, the world has twisted it so that the woman is worshipped as the life giver. An egg is a perfect example of the truth. The egg of a chicken is lifeless in and of itself. Unless the live sperm of a rooster has entered the egg, it will never grow a baby chick. It cannot produce life by itself. It is the same with a man and a woman. Her egg will die monthly unless the life-giving sperm of a man enters the egg to give it life. The man carries the life in himself, which God created by nature, to bring out Christ as the life-giver. We, the Church, are to nurture the life that has been given by the Husband, Christ. We, the church, are to carry the life until it is ready to be born, then we are to nurture and bring it up.

Joh 1:4  In him was life; and the life was the light of men.

Joh 5:26  For as the Father hath life in himself; so hath he given to the Son to have life in himself;

Christ has life in Himself and He gives that life to the Church. Adam knew Eve and she conceived from the man;

Gen 4:1  And Adam knew Eve his wife; and she conceived, and bare Cain, and said, I have gotten a man from the LORD.

She conceived from him. He did not conceive from her.

1Co 11:8  For the man is not of the woman; but the woman of the man.
1Co 11:9  Neither was the man created for the woman; but the woman for the man.

The Hivite spirit dictates things to us in the reverse order. This is why the Pagan holiday called Easter originally came to be.

"The most widely-practiced customs on Easter Sunday relate to the symbol of the rabbit (‘Easter bunny’) and the egg.  As outlined previously, the rabbit was a symbol associated with Eostre, representing the beginning of Springtime. Likewise, the egg has come to represent Spring, fertility and renewal.  In Germanic mythology, it is said that Ostara healed a wounded bird she found in the woods by changing it into a hare. Still partially a bird, the hare showed its gratitude to the goddess by laying eggs as gifts.

The Encyclopedia Britannica clearly explains the pagan traditions associated with the egg:

“The egg as a symbol of fertility and of renewed life goes back to the ancient Egyptians and Persians, who had also the custom of colouring and eating eggs during their spring festival.” In ancient Egypt, an egg symbolised the sun, while for the Babylonians, the egg represents the hatching of the Venus Ishtar, who fell from heaven to the Euphrates. “The word Easter is of Saxon origin, Eastra, the goddess of spring, in whose honour sacrifices were offered about Passover time each year. By the eighth century Anglo–Saxons had adopted the name to designate the celebration of Christ’s resurrection.”  (

This false showing of religion is then put together with the resurrection of Christ by those who were blinded by the false doctrine of the Hivite spirit. The most famous showing of this false doctrine is demonstrated by the Catholic church in its worship of Mary as a god. Below is a short concise statement of their beliefs by Pope IX, in his Ineffabilis Deus in 1854, Pope Pius IX.

"Let all the children of the Catholic Church, who are so very dear to us, hear these words of ours. With a still more ardent zeal for piety, religion and love, let them continue to venerate, invoke and pray to the most Blessed Virgin Mary, Mother of God, conceived without original sin. Let them fly with utter confidence to this most sweet Mother of mercy and grace in all dangers, difficulties, needs, doubts and fears. Under her guidance, under her patronage, under her kindness and protection, nothing is to be feared; nothing is hopeless. Because, while bearing toward us a truly motherly affection and having in her care the work of our salvation, she is solicitous about the whole human race. And since she has been appointed by God to be the Queen of heaven and earth, and is exalted above all the choirs of angels and saints, and even stands at the right hand of her only-begotten Son, Jesus Christ our Lord, she presents our petitions in a most efficacious manner. What she asks, she obtains. Her pleas can never be unheard."

This the height of paganism, self-glorification, and the worship of the woman. This is exactly what we all are born with. In some way or other we worship God in our own fantasies, comparing our own ideas of holiness to the Truth. We would rather worship the woman than to stand as a man. Especially today in our society where women are given the headship of religion and government over the man, against all the principles laid out in scripture. Instead of honouring the woman for what God has honoured her with, we give her more responsibility because man has become so weak and effeminate. This is what the Catholic church has produced through its lies and distortion of the truth. The Hivite spirit tells us that the woman has the life and the man is simply the donor and therefore has no rights. However, scripture is far different in its order.

Deu 24:1  When a man hath taken a wife, and married her, and it come to pass that she find no favour in his eyes, because he hath found some uncleanness in her: then let him write her a bill of divorcement, and give it in her hand, and send her out of his house.

Who does the man, the woman and the house represent? Christ is the Man, the woman is the church and the house is the kingdom of God. Christ is the life-giver, and these natural laws are given by God to show us how we are to worship Him. He calls the shots in His home , not the church. He is the One Whose name she is called by , not the other way around. But the Hivite spirit that has consumed the world gives the power to the woman and the man is the submissive one. This is done by the enemy;

Mat 13:27  So the servants of the householder came and said unto him, Sir, didst not thou sow good Mat 13:28  He said unto them, An enemy hath done this. The servants said unto him, Wilt thou then that we go and gather them up?

The tares are the doctrines of the Hivites which tell us that the woman is first, then the man. It seems so uncomfortable for us to speak on these things because it is ingrained in us that the woman is greater than the man. This is a lie that the world has been pushing; that the man was created for the woman;

1Co 11:8  For the man is not of the woman; but the woman of the man.
1Co 11:9  Neither was the man created for the woman; but the woman for the man.
1Co 11:10  For this cause ought the woman to have power on her head because of the angels.

The covering on her head is the covering of her power. It is the ceremonial covering of showing that Christ is the Head of the Church, and it is He Who gives life, and it is He Who is the Man. But again, the Hivite spirit is just the opposite. It gives all glory to the church as the Creator and not Christ. We, the Elect are the Seed which is sent into the world to give life to the children of God. Christ is the Life that sends us to the fertile egg that He has prepared through much tribulation. When we think that we have the life independently and separately from the Life-giver, then our seed falls on the ground by the wayside and will bring no life. This doctrine of the Hivite is the doctrine of Babylon, and I said earlier that she did not give life. This was a partial error because she does give birth to something - HARLOTS AND ABOMINATIONS. It is not life, but death.

Who fathered her little harlots and abominations but her husband, the Devil;

Joh 8:44  Ye are of your father the devil, and the lusts of your father ye will do. He was a murderer from the beginning, and abode not in the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he speaketh a lie, he speaketh of his own: for he is a liar, and the father of it.

Babylon is the mother of the abominable Hivite. She nurtures the lies with which we are born, and she gives us the milk of that doctrine to feed the lies of the world. The children which come from Babylon, which represents all the religions of the world, are stiff-necked, rebellious and disobedient to all things that give all glory to God. They cannot but help but be that way in the flesh because they are created that way. In the flesh we are all children of Babylon, because in the flesh we are conceived from our father, the devil. The new creation is born again  from above, from the New Jerusalem, the mother of the elect.

Joh 3:3  Jesus answered and said unto him, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God.

Gal 4:26  But Jerusalem which is above is free, which is the mother of us all (the elect).

Rev 21:2  And I John saw the holy city, new Jerusalem, coming down from God out of heaven, prepared as a bride adorned for her husband.

It is important to know the difference between the Church and Babylon. It is important to be able to distinguish between the truth and the lie, between what is dying and what is coming to life.

Rev 21:1  And I saw a new heaven and a new earth: for the first heaven and the first earth were passed away; and there was no more sea.

The first heaven and earth on which I lived told me that I was the god of my own earth. My mother Babylon told me the Hivite lies that she was the beginning of all things, and as her child, I was the beginning of all my things. I was a god independently and separately from all others and they from me. I was the one who had control over the destiny of my life. This is brought out in the following parable;

Luk 12:16  And he spake a parable unto them, saying, The ground of a certain rich man brought forth plentifully:
Luk 12:17  And he thought within himself, saying, What shall I do, because I have no room where to bestow my fruits?
Luk 12:18  And he said, This will I do: I will pull down my barns, and build greater; and there will I bestow all my fruits and my goods.
Luk 12:19  And I will say to my soul, Soul, thou hast much goods laid up for many years; take thine ease, eat, drink, and be merry.
Luk 12:20  But God said unto him, Thou fool, this night thy soul shall be required of thee: then whose shall those things be, which thou hast provided?
Luk 12:21  So is he that layeth up treasure for himself, and is not rich toward God.

Our minds instantly go to physical riches. That's the beauty of the blinding of the word of God. This has little to do with physical riches, but with spiritual riches. What we think about our own self worth, what we believe we are worth to God because of our many good deeds, our mammon. We all have come through Babylon, and we all have this self-worth in us, this abomination of lies that we are capable of changing our own lives. But Babylon, will take this parable which used physical riches AS A PARABLE to say that we use it in the flesh not to trust in physical riches, and if we don't, then we have fulfilled this parable. By fulfilling this parable, they teach we are doing what we are supposed to do, therefore laying up physical riches and doing the very thing the parable tells us not to do. We are seeing ourselves as the ones making the riches, and I must point out these verses again;

1Ch 29:11  Thine, O LORD, is the greatness, and the power, and the glory, and the victory, and the majesty: for all that is in the heaven and in the earth is thine; thine is the kingdom, O LORD, and thou art exalted as head above all.
1Ch 29:12  Both riches and honour come of thee, and thou reignest over all; and in thine hand is power and might; and in thine hand it is to make great, and to give strength unto all.
1Ch 29:13  Now therefore, our God, we thank thee, and praise thy glorious name.
1Ch 29:14  But who am I, and what is my people, that we should be able to offer so willingly after this sort? for all things come of thee, and of thine own have we given thee.
1Ch 29:15  For we are strangers before thee, and sojourners, as were all our fathers: our days on the earth are as a shadow, and there is none abiding.
1Ch 29:16  O LORD our God, all this store that we have prepared to build thee an house for thine holy name cometh of thine hand, and is all thine own.

This is the true reading of this parable: our own self-worth, what we believe we are and where we believe we come from. This Hivite doctrine teaches us that we came from Babylon and that Babylon is the god, that she is the life-giver. Eve was created from Adam, and Eve conceived from Adam. Both the life of Eve and the life of the conception comes from the Creator, not the other way around. Look at what Christ said before He gave the parable.

Luk 12:8  Also I say unto you, Whosoever shall confess me before men, him shall the Son of man also confess before the angels of God:

I am a man, and I acknowledge what I am, I am because of my Creator, Jesus Christ. I have confessed Him or put in Him in place before me, which is what "before" means. I have said and confessed that all that you see of me comes from my Creator. I have nothing of which to boast.

Luk 12:9  But he that denieth me before men shall be denied before the angels of God.

When I see myself as a free moral agent, separate and independent from Christ as my Creator, I have denied Him.

Luk 12:10  And whosoever shall speak a word against the Son of man, it shall be forgiven him: but unto him that blasphemeth against the Holy Ghost it shall not be forgiven.

Speaking a word against Christ is denying His life, death, burial and resurrection. Blaspheming the Spirit of Christ in you that makes you what you are cannot be forgiven because you think you are a self-willed, self creating born-again believer. We are both the one who speaks against the Son of man and the one who speaks against the Holy Spirit. When we are born again, our spirit sees Who Christ is, but the flesh will never give the glory to Christ, therefore the flesh will never be saved because flesh and blood cannot inherit the kingdom of God. He is telling us in this parable that flesh and blood cannot inherit the kingdom of God or be forgiven, because flesh and blood was born flesh and blood - sin. Flesh believes it is its own holy spirit, not flesh, and therefore cannot be forgiven. This is blasphemy against the Spirit that creates the new man. The flesh does not gather with the Spirit of Christ but scatters abroad. The flesh is not with Christ but with the flesh.

Luk 12:11  And when they bring you unto the synagogues, and unto magistrates, and powers, take ye no thought how or what thing ye shall answer, or what ye shall say:
Luk 12:12  For the Holy Ghost shall teach you in the same hour what ye ought to say.

All our "store", all that we have laid up as spiritual riches are given to the Creator of them. We confess Christ is the beginning of what we are, and we confess Him "before", in place of our old man. However, the mother of the fleshly worship does not confess that all is of Christ. She speaks against the Spirit of Christ. She takes credit as the life-giver of all works and therefore cannot be forgiven. Because there is no repentance, there must be judgment, and because there is judgment there must be death. All flesh must die, for all flesh is against the kingdom of God. No flesh can be forgiven and turned into spiritual flesh;

Joh 3:3  Jesus answered and said unto him, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God.
Joh 3:4  Nicodemus saith unto him, How can a man be born when he is old? can he enter the second time into his mother's womb, and be born? (Nicodemus is speaking of the same man)
Joh 3:5  Jesus answered, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born of water and of the Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God.
Joh 3:6  That which is born of the flesh is flesh; and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit.

That which is born of the flesh will die, that which is born of the Spirit will live. When we claim the works of the flesh come from the individual choices of the flesh, we are speaking against the Spirit by the fleshly man. When we claim we are moved on by the Spirit of Christ, we are speaking from the new born-again man. The Hivite spirit gives all glory to the creation as the beginning of life or life-giver. It speaks from the darkness in which it lives and all it can know. Scripture gives us a picture of this woman and of the Bride; two separate women - one of the flesh and one of the spirit;

Rev 17:1  And there came one of the seven angels which had the seven vials, and talked with me, saying unto me, Come hither; I will shew unto thee the judgment of the great whore that sitteth upon many waters:
Rev 17:2  With whom the kings of the earth have committed fornication, and the inhabitants of the earth have been made drunk with the wine of her fornication.
Rev 17:3  So he carried me away in the spirit into the wilderness: and I saw a woman sit upon a scarlet coloured beast, full of names of blasphemy, having seven heads and ten horns.
Rev 17:4  And the woman was arrayed in purple and scarlet colour, and decked with gold and precious stones and pearls, having a golden cup in her hand full of abominations and filthiness of her fornication:
Rev 17:6  And I saw the woman drunken with the blood of the saints, and with the blood of the martyrs of Jesus: and when I saw her, I wondered with great admiration.

And then the Bride of Christ:

Rev 21:9  And there came unto me one of the seven angels which had the seven vials full of the seven last plagues, and talked with me, saying, Come hither, I will shew thee the bride, the Lamb's wife.
Rev 21:10  And he carried me away in the spirit to a great and high mountain, and shewed me that great city, the holy Jerusalem, descending out of heaven from God,
Rev 21:11  Having the glory of God: and her light was like unto a stone most precious, even like a jasper stone, clear as crystal;
Rev 21:12  And had a wall great and high, and had twelve gates, and at the gates twelve angels, and names written thereon, which are the names of the twelve tribes of the children of Israel:
Rev 21:22  And I saw no temple therein: for the Lord God Almighty and the Lamb are the temple of it.
Rev 21:23  And the city had no need of the sun, neither of the moon, to shine in it: for the glory of God did lighten it, and the Lamb is the light thereof.
Rev 21:24  And the nations of them which are saved shall walk in the light of it: and the kings of the earth do bring their glory and honour into it.
Rev 21:25  And the gates of it shall not be shut at all by day: for there shall be no night there.
Rev 21:26  And they shall bring the glory and honour of the nations into it.
Rev 21:27  And there shall in no wise enter into it any thing that defileth, neither whatsoever worketh abomination, or maketh a lie: but they which are written in the Lamb's book of life.

The Hivite spirit is very sly, very subtle and blinds all who have ever lived because all are born of flesh and blood with the thoughts of a carnal mind. All flesh must die, no part of any flesh can be saved, we must all be born again, either in this eon or in the lake of fire. When is the end of our eon, and when will we awaken with the likeness of the city? No one knows. Only the Father knows when our time will come to a close and we will be changed into that which we were predestined as the elect.

Mat 24:36  But of that day and hour knoweth no man, no, not the angels of heaven, but my Father only.
Mat 24:22  And except those days should be shortened, there should no flesh be saved: but for the elect's sake those days shall be shortened.

When all this will come to be in my life or yours is known only by the Father. There are many wars yet to be fought inside our earth, many nations hiding in caves and dens, on mountains and in valleys, that must be hunted down and slaughtered within us. Then the end will come.

Next week, LORD willing, we will cover the last nation, the Jebusites.
