Deu 22:13-21 Review and Overview

[Study Aired February 19, 2021]

Deu 22:13  If any man take a wife, and go in unto her, and hate her,
Deu 22:14  And give occasions of speech against her, and bring up an evil name upon her, and say, I took this woman, and when I came to her, I found her not a maid:
Deu 22:15  Then shall the father of the damsel, and her mother, take and bring forth the tokens of the damsel’s virginity unto the elders of the city in the gate:
Deu 22:16  And the damsel’s father shall say unto the elders, I gave my daughter unto this man to wife, and he hateth her;
Deu 22:17  And, lo, he hath given occasions of speech against her, saying, I found not thy daughter a maid; and yet these are the tokens of my daughter’s virginity. And they shall spread the cloth before the elders of the city.
Deu 22:18  And the elders of that city shall take that man and chastise him;
Deu 22:19  And they shall amerce him in an hundred shekels of silver, and give them unto the father of the damsel, because he hath brought up an evil name upon a virgin of Israel: and she shall be his wife; he may not put her away all his days.
Deu 22:20  But if this thing be true, and the tokens of virginity be not found for the damsel:
Deu 22:21  Then they shall bring out the damsel to the door of her father’s house, and the men of her city shall stone her with stones that she die: because she hath wrought folly in Israel, to play the whore in her father’s house: so shalt thou put evil away from among you.

We have spent four weeks covering these nine verses. In each study we went over different aspects of the meanings of things in these verses and then related them to us inwardly. We have covered so much that it seems only right to finish these studies off with an overview of each subject so that we can tie them all together in one study. In the first study we covered what the tokens of the damsel’s virginity meant and showed what they meant to us spiritually.

(Part 1)

Gen 3:16  Unto the woman he said, I will greatly multiply thy sorrow and thy conception; in sorrow thou shalt bring forth children; and thy desire shall be to thy husband, and he shall rule over thee.

Remember all these things are written for our admonition, so what spiritual example do we get from the pain and shedding of blood and the proof of such pain left on a cloth as a witness to the suffering? The sinlessness of Christ is a type and figure of the virginity of a woman, innocent from defilement. With this thought in mind, let’s read the following verses and keep in mind our subject.

Mat 27:24  When Pilate saw that he could prevail nothing, but that rather a tumult was made, he took water, and washed his hands before the multitude, saying, I am innocent of the blood of this just person: see ye to it.
Mat 27:25  Then answered all the people, and said, His blood be on us, and on our children.

Mat 27:50  Jesus, when he had cried again with a loud voice, yielded up the ghost.
Mat 27:51  And, behold, the veil of the temple was rent in twain from the top to the bottom; and the earth did quake, and the rocks rent;
Mat 27:52  And the graves were opened; and many bodies of the saints which slept arose,
Mat 27:53  And came out of the graves after his resurrection, and went into the holy city, and appeared unto many.

So, when blood was spilled and the garments were stained, it produced children from a dead womb, a womb that had been closed up, the graves without the fertile word of Christ. When the veil is torn from top to bottom and the blood of Christ is shed, this is the spiritual act and consummation of the covenant being fulfilled between Christ and His Creator, just like between a man and a woman, SPIRITUALLY. He has taken the pain of covenant upon Himself for us. Verses 51 through 53 of Matthew 27 was a prophesy of us being born from the closed womb of the church and from the consummation of that covenant. When the literal graves were opened and the literal dead rose from the literal graves and walked into the HOLY CITY, it was a prophesy of us being born from the womb of the virgin wife of Christ. His blood was spilled, the earth did quake, the rocks opened, and the dead did rise. He bore our pain, and we are bearing the pain for the rest of the world. We are the wife of Christ who is being taken into the tent of Christ where children are being conceived through the painful truth of sacrificing the flesh. We have nothing to offer Him. He is LORD of our lords and King of our kings. He has chosen us, we have not chosen Him.

Isa 54:1  Sing, O barren, thou that didst not bear; break forth into singing, and cry aloud, thou that didst not travail with child: for more are the children of the desolate than the children of the married wife, saith the LORD.

Isa 54:4  Fear not; for thou shalt not be ashamed: neither be thou confounded; for thou shalt not be put to shame: for thou shalt forget the shame of thy youth, and shalt not remember the reproach of thy widowhood any more.
Isa 54:5  For thy Maker is thine husband; the LORD of hosts is his name; and thy Redeemer the Holy One of Israel; The God of the whole earth shall he be called.
Isa 54:6  For the LORD hath called thee as a woman forsaken and grieved in spirit, and a wife of youth, when thou wast refused, saith thy God.

Since the resurrection of Christ, we are being called by our Husband into the tent, into covenant with Him, and it comes at a price; the shedding of blood, our spiritual blood. Without the proof of the shedding of blood, there is no marriage and no children. This gives us a deeper understanding of these verses:

Heb 9:22  And almost all things are by the law purged with blood; and without shedding of blood is no remission.
Heb 9:23  It was therefore necessary that the patterns of things in the heavens should be purified with these; but the heavenly things themselves with better sacrifices than these.
Heb 9:24  For Christ is not entered into the holy places made with hands, which are the figures of the true; but into heaven itself, now to appear in the presence of God for us:

The purpose of the dowry is to prove the innocence of the woman. The blood on the cloth is that proof, and so it is with Christ’s blood. His blood being shed is a type and figure of the proof of Him being without guile. He is without fault of sharing Himself with other gods and worshipping other gods. He knew that there was no other God than His Creator, and in knowing this truth He remained as an innocent virgin.

1Pe 2:21  For even hereunto were ye called: because Christ also suffered for us, leaving us an example, that ye should follow his steps:
1Pe 2:22  Who did no sin, neither was guile found in his mouth:
1Pe 2:23  Who, when he was reviled, reviled not again; when he suffered, he threatened not; but committed himself to him that judgeth righteously:
1Pe 2:24  Who his own self bare our sins in his own body on the tree, that we, being dead to sins, should live unto righteousness: by whose stripes ye were healed.

He was able to bear our sins because in Him was no sin. He had brought His fleshly desires under control and had not played the whore with other gods. He gave all credit to His Father Who was giving Him His virgin wife and did not work folly by laying before other gods.

We are now being born again, as new wives that are innocent and undefiled. We are united in the One in whole until the last elect who will make up the whole of the whole body.

Rev 14:1  And I looked, and, lo, a Lamb stood on the mount Sion, and with him an hundred forty and four thousand, having his Father’s name written in their foreheads.
Rev 14:2  And I heard a voice from heaven, as the voice of many waters, and as the voice of a great thunder: and I heard the voice of harpers harping with their harps:
Rev 14:3  And they sung as it were a new song before the throne, and before the four beasts, and the elders: and no man could learn that song but the hundred and forty and four thousand, which were redeemed from the earth.
Rev 14:4  These are they which were not defiled with women; for they are virgins. These are they which follow the Lamb whithersoever he goeth. These were redeemed from among men, being the firstfruits unto God and to the Lamb.
Rev 14:5  And in their mouth was found no guile: for they are without fault before the throne of God.

We are those 144,000, now in this age, being created, united into one whole, into a new bride, who is without guile and fault, and who is innocent before God and the Lamb because we have come to know the truth. In coming to know that truth, our old way of life is destroyed, and we are born again; innocent and virgin from the corruption of the world. Christ, to Whom we are betrothed, protects us from Satan, who would have us going after other men, other gods. He protects us by being in us and watching over His Bride by washing us with the water of His word. We meet every night and gather seven days a week, and in those gatherings, when Satan tries to sneak in false doctrine, Christ reveals it to us, and we are protected.

It is important for us to know the truth about the innocence of virginity and why God made the natural the way He did. The way we see the natural is the way we will see the spiritual. If we regard it as nothing, then we will regard the truth as nothing. The natural must be pure, holy and protected and so the Truth of Who Christ is, was and will be must be protected. We do not just go out and uncover our nakedness to the world. We protect it from the wolves who would take our innocence. When we are trying to be forced to lay with a stranger, we yell to our Husband for help. We were taught, and are taught in the world, that virginity is nothing and that a person losing their virginity can be with just anyone, anywhere; marriage is not required. I ask God why has He created it to be so disgraced if it is so beautiful, and the answer is:

1Co 10:6  Now these things were our examples, to the intent we should not lust after evil things, as they also lusted.

The physical act is a type and figure of the spiritual, and that being the case, He wants us to see that the truth is to be guarded and protected until Christ descends from the clouds and we are united to Him. This is why we are to see the natural as a holy thing that we must not take lightly. Thanks be to God, He has opened our eyes and what we were in the flesh is not what we are in the spirit, THANK GOD FOR THAT. Because in the flesh we are ALL full of immorality and disgrace. No one can point the finger at anyone in the flesh because ALL ARE SIN and born sin. However, we are now seen in a different light. We are now seen as the innocent Bride of Christ, created by the Father before the world began, to be the bride of His Son, Jesus Christ. He has hidden us in the world. We look like everyone else outwardly, but what the world does not know is that we are predestined by God to rule this world for a thousand symbolic years.

Whatever you were before you came to the truth was a plan of God to hide you among the world. He did not make us perfect in the flesh because we would easily have been seen by the enemy. We are seen in the flesh just like everyone else. There is no stamp on our heads that says to everyone, “I’m part of the Body of the virgin bride of Christ.” Outwardly we look the same, but inwardly we are different. The truth of who we are is slowly growing inside us, and we are bringing our flesh into subjection minute by minute. We are pure in the eyes of our Redeemer, holy and without blame, for we are united to Him, Who is holy and without blame. He will not let His bride be defiled. Fleshly virginity is the most holy thing that should be respected for it is the spiritual type of the union between Christ and His Bride that will bring about the redemption of all of humanity, the children that came from this covenant.

Gen 15:5  And he brought him forth abroad, and said, Look now toward heaven, and tell the stars, if thou be able to number them: and he said unto him, So shall thy seed be.
Gen 15:6  And he believed in the LORD; and he counted it to him for righteousness.

Gen 15:18  In the same day the LORD made a covenant with Abram, saying, Unto thy seed have I given this land, from the river of Egypt unto the great river, the river Euphrates:

Rom 4:13  For the promise, that he should be the heir of the world, was not to Abraham, or to his seed, through the law, but through the righteousness of faith.

What we are in the flesh is not what we are in the spirit. The enemy wants us to believe that both are the same so that we can uncover our skirt to everyone who passes by or to discourage us from believing the truth of who we are in Christ. If we are given to concentrate on who we are in Christ, that Christ, Who created our flesh, is at the same time creating our new man, and will in time give us dominion over the land in which we dwell, we shall dwell in peace.

If we dwell on the flesh, who we were in the flesh and are discouraged, we are not walking by faith. The deeds of the flesh are, were and will be an integral part of coming to the truth. We cannot have one without the other. We must not stay stuck on the sinful deeds of the past, but look forward to the creation of Christ in us. This is the covenant we are given and the covenant that unites us to the only One Who was, is and will be without sin. When we are united to Him, we are like Him, without sin.

1Jn 4:17  Herein is our love made perfect, that we may have boldness in the day of judgment: because as he is, so are we in this world.

1Jn 3:1  Behold, what manner of love the Father hath bestowed upon us, that we should be called the sons of God: therefore the world knoweth us not, because it knew him not.
1Jn 3:2  Beloved, now are we the sons of God, and it doth not yet appear what we shall be: but we know that, when he shall appear, we shall be like him; for we shall see him as he is.
1Jn 3:3  And every man that hath this hope in him purifieth himself, even as he is pure [as Abram did by faith].
1Jn 3:4  Whosoever committeth sin transgresseth also the law: for sin is the transgression of the law.
1Jn 3:5  And ye know that he was manifested to take away our sins; and in him is no sin.
1Jn 3:6  Whosoever abideth in him sinneth not: whosoever sinneth hath not seen him, neither known him.

With this truth we can see the Bride descending from the sky, holy, perfect, and innocent.

Rev 21:2  And I John saw the holy city, new Jerusalem, coming down from God out of heaven, prepared as a bride adorned for her husband.
Rev 21:3  And I heard a great voice out of heaven saying, Behold, the tabernacle of God is with men, and he will dwell with them, and they shall be his people, and God himself shall be with them, and be their God.
Rev 21:4  And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away.

Rev 21:9  And there came unto me one of the seven angels which had the seven vials full of the seven last plagues, and talked with me, saying, Come hither, I will shew thee the bride, the Lamb’s wife.
Rev 21:10  And he carried me away in the spirit to a great and high mountain, and shewed me that great city, the holy Jerusalem, descending out of heaven from God,
Rev 21:11  Having the glory of God: and her light was like unto a stone most precious, even like a jasper stone, clear as crystal;

Rev 21:23  And the city had no need of the sun, neither of the moon, to shine in it: for the glory of God did lighten it, and the Lamb is the light thereof.

Rev 22:1  And he shewed me a pure river of water of life, clear as crystal, proceeding out of the throne of God and of the Lamb.
Rev 22:2  In the midst of the street of it, and on either side of the river, was there the tree of life, which bare twelve manner of fruits, and yielded her fruit every month: and the leaves of the tree were for the healing of the nations.
Rev 22:3  And there shall be no more curse: but the throne of God and of the Lamb shall be in it; and his servants shall serve him:
Rev 22:4  And they shall see his face; and his name shall be in their foreheads.
Rev 22:5  And there shall be no night there; and they need no candle, neither light of the sun; for the Lord God giveth them light: and they shall reign for ever and ever.

These are words of Christ to us, as a letter to His Bride, telling her that He knows the waiting for the day is hard, but He wants us to know that the time is drawing near. We are at the cusp of a great change. The last trump draws near, and we will be changed in a twinkling of an eye. We are innocent and pure because He has shed His blood for us, who were chosen in Him, by His Father, to be covenanted to the Son before the world began. He shed His blood, became sin Who knew no sin, that we might be made the righteousness of God in Him, covered by Him and covenanted to Him.

2Co 5:21  For he hath made him to be sin for us, who knew no sin; that we might be made the righteousness of God in him.

Eze 16:8  Now when I passed by thee, and looked upon thee, behold, thy time was the time of love; and I spread my skirt over thee, and covered thy nakedness: yea, I sware unto thee, and entered into a covenant with thee, saith the Lord GOD, and thou becamest mine.

(Part 2)

Having taking the time last week to cover the importance of “the tokens of the damsel’s virginity” we can move on today and discover what it means to “have wrought folly in Israel”.

1Jn 3:1  Behold, what manner of love the Father hath bestowed upon us, that we should be called [Aorist tense-G5686 – we are “being” called] the sons of God: therefore the world knoweth us not, because it knew him not.
1Jn 3:2  Beloved, now are we [Present tense-G5748] the sons of God, and it doth not yet appear [Aorist tense-G5686] what we shall be: but we know that, when he shall appear, we shall be like him; for we shall see him as he is.
1Jn 3:3  And every man that hath this hope in him purifieth himself, even as he is pure.
1Jn 3:4  Whosoever committeth sin transgresseth also the law: for sin is the transgression of the law.
1Jn 3:5  And ye know that he was manifested [Aorist tense-G5681 – being manifested] to take away [Aorist-G5661] our sins; and in him is [Present tense-G5748] no sin.
1Jn 3:6  Whosoever abideth in him sinneth not: whosoever sinneth hath not seen him, neither known him.
1Jn 3:7  Little children, let no man deceive you: he that doeth righteousness is righteous, even as he is righteous.
1Jn 3:8  He that committeth sin is of the devil; for the devil sinneth from the beginning. For this purpose the Son of God was manifested [Aorist tense-G5681], that he might destroy [Aorist tense-G5661] the works of the devil.
1Jn 3:9  Whosoever is born of God doth not commit sin; for his seed remaineth in him: and he cannot sin, because he is born of God.
1Jn 3:10  In this the children of God are manifest, and the children of the devil: whosoever doeth not righteousness is not of God, neither he that loveth not his brother.

It is the foundation of truth to understand the tenses in the above verses. Without them we are stuck in past or future and never see the now of scripture and its application. We cannot be the innocent bride and are not presently the innocent bride if we presently do not believe that Christ is in us, which makes us holy and without blame. If we believe in freewill, we are not His and the truth is not in us, we have been exposed as not having “the tokens of the damsel’s virginity”. Those to whom the truth is IN are being (aorist tense) cleansed from the thoughts of freewill. Those who believe they have freewill and do not believe in the total sovereignty of God over all lives is dead and cannot know truth presently.

My parents came together, and from that union I was made in flesh. However, they did not know what they were making. They did not know me from my name, my past, or what they had in store for my future. They knew a child would be born, but they did not know it was going to be me. They learned about me as I grew and took on what had been predestined from before the world began. Each one of us was made in the flesh by a union of flesh, but what the flesh has brought forth was what God the Father had predestined it be – nothing more, nothing less. These truths are the “the tokens of the damsel’s virginity”, because it is in this innocent state of holiness and perfection we are seen NOW, in this age. We are without spot or wrinkle and without blame, for what we are in the flesh does not represent what we are in the spirit.

Rom 8:1  There is therefore now no condemnation to them which are in Christ Jesus, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit.
Rom 8:2  For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus hath made me free from the law of sin and death.

If we live according to the law, then we are without “the tokens of the damsel’s virginity” because we have been deflowered by the law of the flesh. We have lain with someone else, and the innocence is lost, because we have believed that the law of the flesh, the seed of the flesh, created us into what Christ wanted as a bride.

Rom 7:1  Know ye not, brethren, (for I speak to them that know the law,) how that the law hath dominion over a man as long as he liveth? [as long as the carnal mind of the old man lives, he will be under the dominion of the law of his flesh, his life will be dictated by do’s and don’t that will either qualify himself or disqualify himself from the kingdom of God as he knows it according to the carnal mind]
Rom 7:2  For the woman which hath an husband is bound by the law to her husband so long as he liveth; but if the husband be dead, she is loosed from the law of her husband.
Rom 7:3  So then if, while her husband liveth, she be married to another man, she shall be called an adulteress: but if her husband be dead, she is free from that law; so that she is no adulteress, though she be married to another man.
Rom 7:4  Wherefore, my brethren, ye also are become dead to the law [first husband] by the body of Christ; that ye should be married to another, even to him who is raised from the dead, that we should bring forth fruit unto God [peace, love, joy, etc, fruits of walking in the Spirit (Gal 5:22-26)].

This truth is the exposing of how the flesh thinks of itself in its relation to God. Man believes because he has an experience through a ten-second sinner’s prayer that he is now one with God and that he can by his own freewill keep himself right before God. With this fornicating doctrine, mankind is deflowered and exposed to all the “stones and stocks” that he inwardly falls before and lays with.

Jer 3:9  And it came to pass through the lightness of her whoredom, that she defiled the land, and committed adultery with stones and with stocks.

The land is defiled means what we try to bring before God is not worthy to bring before God as His bride because we have already lost our innocence through fornicating with doctrines of men – “stones and stocks”. Believing in freewill or free moral agency is exposing your nakedness before the doctrines of men and saying that you are pure. The purpose of these scriptures is to show us that what we are in the flesh IS NOT WHAT WE ARE IN THE SPIRIT. And if that same Spirit is revealing to us this truth, then that same spirit that raised Christ from the dead will also raise us from the dead doctrines of man and recreate us into the image of Christ.

Rom 8:11  But if the Spirit of him that raised up Jesus from the dead dwell in you, he that raised up Christ from the dead shall also quicken your mortal bodies by his Spirit that dwelleth in you.

Any Babylonian pastor or parishioner would say “amen” to the above statement, but what they fail to recognize is that the “quickening” is not of them by their own efforts or thoughts but by the Spirit of God that raised Christ from the dead. We have nothing to do with being made alive because we are being made alive by the plan of God before we existed. What religion does not know as the great whore that sits over many waters (which means she sits on the world) is that we are being created into the image of Christ. We were not created in the past what we shall be, we are being created in the present what we shall be in the future, which in the eyes of God is a completed plan because He exists outside of time and is not bound by time.

This is why religion can use the catch phrase “backslider” and place that title on anyone who has stopped going to church services, not reading their bible as they were, etc. What they fail to recognize is that these things they point out are either being used by God to send the person back into religion because they are not an elect, or He is using these things to chasten a son of God. I have heard the term backslider my whole life and always saw it as a person who used to go to church but now has slipped back into the world because Satan was stronger than God and pulled the poor unexpecting soul back to hell. This term is associated with exactly what we started with – “self-righteousness”. If we are the elect, we are all backsliders in the aorist tense because we all believe we are free moral agents.

Jer 49:4  Wherefore [why] gloriest thou in the valleys, thy flowing valley, O backsliding daughter? that trusted in her treasures, saying, Who shall come unto me?

This lie from the serpent was cemented into our hearts by the law of the flesh in do’s and don’ts.

Gen 3:4  And the serpent said unto the woman, Ye shall not surely die:
Gen 3:5  For God doth know that in the day ye eat thereof, then your eyes shall be opened, and ye shall be as gods, knowing good and evil.
Gen 3:6  And when the woman saw [“the woman saw” is in the Qal stem; “the woman is seeing” H8799, which means she is “seeing”. Qal stem in Hebrew is similar to the aorist in the greek.] that the tree was good for food, and that it was pleasant to the eyes, and a tree to be desired to make one wise, she took of the fruit thereof, and did eat, and gave also unto her husband with her; and he did eat.

Then when the law came in, after camping in “the wilderness of Sin”, from mount Sin-ai it only made the lie from the serpent that much more deadly. It made mankind believe they could keep the law and heal their deadly wound; that they could now know between good and evil. What this eating from the tree did was to start the process of “coming” to know between good and evil in the Qal stem. In other words, the first Adam is still growing in the knowledge of evil as the secondnd Adam grows in the knowledge of good. This process was not a one-time-in-the-past act, but is still taking effect today, coming to know. Knowledge is increasing in both good and in evil. The first Adam is continuing to grow in evil believing he is the freewill being that shapes his own future. While the second Adam continues to grow in good, seeing and hearing the truth of the sovereignty of God and that ALL THINGS WORK TOGETHER FOR GOOD, he knows that all that is being created in the sixth day IS VERY GOOD, and with that knowledge he is resting in the seventh day.  (Gen 3:22; Dan 12:4; Rom 8:28; Gen 1:31; Heb 4:1-13)

The very thought that we think we can serve The LORD is as filthy and blasphemous as we can get. It is the height of self-glorification that we think by the law of the flesh we can even come close to serving the Creator of our very lives and every second of those lives. It is blasphemy at its core and the very thing God has ORDAINED WE BE CREATED FROM! It is seeing this as the height of idolatry that we begin our creation into the image of the Son of God and our seeing ourselves as the Bride of Christ, who is Chaste and innocent. It is the seeing of our losing our virginity to the idols of our hearts that we are created into a chaste virgin. It is coming to see the truth of our whorish ways in the flesh that we become the virgin to whom Christ has been betrothed.

We are dead to the law of the flesh in trying to bring forth fruit to God and alive as the innocent virgin bride of Christ, who is holy and without blame. We have died, from trying bring to forth works to God by the flesh through religious doctrines of men and have rested in the life of Christ, Who is forming in us His very mind. With this understanding let’s read these verses again.

Rom 7:1  Know ye not, brethren, (for I speak to them that know the law,) how that the law hath dominion over a man as long as he liveth?
Rom 7:2  For the woman which hath an husband is bound by the law to her husband so long as he liveth; but if the husband be dead, she is loosed from the law of her husband.
Rom 7:3  So then if, while her husband liveth, she be married to another man, she shall be called an adulteress: but if her husband be dead, she is free from that law; so that she is no adulteress, though she be married to another man.
Rom 7:4  Wherefore, my brethren, ye also are become dead to the law by the body of Christ [Who and what is the body of Christ of which Apostle Paul is speaking? (Eph 5:30)]; that ye should be married to another, even to him who is raised from the dead, that we should bring forth fruit unto God.
Rom 7:5  For when we were in the flesh, the motions of sins, which were by the law, did work in our members to bring forth fruit unto death.
Rom 7:6  But now we are delivered from the law, that being dead [the “that” which is dead, is our first husband, the law of the flesh] wherein we were held; that we should serve in newness of spirit [“serve in newness of Spirit” means we are now innocent virgins before our Creator, Who created us innocent from the the very thing that made us guilty.], and not in the oldness of the letter.

If we are given to see ourselves as Sons of God in the new man, holy and without blame, then we are innocent, chaste virgins in the spirit. We are what we were predestined to be before the world began, our world and the world as a whole. Two people came together to make us what we are in the flesh. They had no idea who we were and no idea who we would become. However, in the spirit, in the Mind of God the Father, He KNEW WHO WE WERE. He knew by His union to Christ He would call each of us by name and each of us had a life already planned for His glory. We are the children He created to rejoice over and be proud of, for we are the image of Christ, perfect and without blame. NOW…ARE WE THE SONS OF GOD. We have come to know what Christ’s mind is when His mind says that all He is, was and will be is by the hand of His Creator, the Father. So, that same mind is being given to us day by day, and by this spirit we are being created into the image of Christ, by the breath of God that Christ is giving to us.

Gen 2:7  And the LORD God formed [H8799-Qal stem, forming man] man of the dust of the ground, and breathed [H8799-Qal stem-  breathing into our nostrils the breath of life, which is creating us in His image, “And creating is the Elohim humanity in His image…” (Gen 1:27 CLV)] into his nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living soul.
Gen 2:8  And the LORD God planted a garden eastward in Eden; and there he put the man whom he had formed. [Eden being the perfect life He has planted, we live in while being created into this image we are now seeing, as the virgin wife of Christ, who is being formed from the whorish wife. We cannot become the virgin wife until we see the other.]

This is not a past creation but a creation in process; a process where we are being created to know the truth, and in knowing the truth, we are seeing Who God the Father is, was and will be. We are coming to see that He is not the monster religion has made Him but a loving God, Who has created His Son’s wife through His Son, and through that wife, Jerusalem from above, will all mankind be created in the lake of fire and come to be the children of the virgin bride of Christ. Although she has all the children of the world, she still remains innocent and without fault because the marriage bed between her and her Husband, Christ, is undefiled, there is NO SIN.

Gen 1:27  And creating is the Elohim humanity in His image. In the image of the Elohim He creates it. Male and female He creates them.

(Part 3)

We need to touch on the accusation by the man of the woman not being innocent and correlate that spiritually to Christ exposing our spiritual whoredom and or the accuser of the brethren accusing us of sin when there is none. There’s a chapter in the book of numbers that goes over the spirit of jealousy, when a man accuses his wife of being unfaithful and what the priest does to find out if this accusation is true or not.

Num 5:11  And the LORD spake unto Moses, saying,
Num 5:12  Speak unto the children of Israel, and say unto them, If any man’s wife go aside, and commit a trespass against him,
Num 5:13  And a man lie with her carnally, and it be hid from the eyes of her husband, and be kept close, and she be defiled, and there be no witness against her, neither she be taken with the manner;
Num 5:14  And the spirit of jealousy come upon him, and he be jealous of his wife, and she be defiled: or if the spirit of jealousy come upon him, and he be jealous of his wife, and she be not defiled:
Num 5:15  Then shall the man bring his wife unto the priest, and he shall bring her offering for her, the tenth part of an ephah of barley meal; he shall pour no oil upon it, nor put frankincense thereon; for it is an offering of jealousy, an offering of memorial, bringing iniquity to remembrance [Eze 33:13].
Num 5:16  And the priest shall bring her near, and set her before the LORD:
Num 5:17  And the priest shall take holy water in an earthen vessel; and of the dust that is in the floor of the tabernacle the priest shall take, and put it into the water:
Num 5:18  And the priest shall set the woman before the LORD, and uncover the woman’s head, and put the offering of memorial in her hands, which is the jealousy offering: and the priest shall have in his hand the bitter water that causeth the curse:
Num 5:19  And the priest shall charge her by an oath, and say unto the woman, If no man have lain with thee, and if thou hast not gone aside to uncleanness with another instead of thy husband, be thou free from this bitter water that causeth the curse:
Num 5:20  But if thou hast gone aside to another instead of thy husband, and if thou be defiled, and some man have lain with thee beside thine husband:
Num 5:21  Then the priest shall charge the woman with an oath of cursing, and the priest shall say unto the woman, The LORD make thee a curse and an oath among thy people, when the LORD doth make thy thigh to rot, and thy belly to swell;
Num 5:22  And this water that causeth the curse shall go into thy bowels, to make thy belly to swell, and thy thigh to rot: And the woman shall say, Amen, amen.
Num 5:23  And the priest shall write these curses in a book, and he shall blot them out with the bitter water:
Num 5:24  And he shall cause the woman to drink the bitter water that causeth the curse: and the water that causeth the curse shall enter into her, and become bitter.
Num 5:25  Then the priest shall take the jealousy offering out of the woman’s hand, and shall wave the offering before the LORD, and offer it upon the altar:
Num 5:26  And the priest shall take an handful of the offering, even the memorial thereof, and burn it upon the altar, and afterward shall cause the woman to drink the water.
Num 5:27  And when he hath made her to drink the water, then it shall come to pass, that, if she be defiled, and have done trespass against her husband, that the water that causeth the curse shall enter into her, and become bitter, and her belly shall swell, and her thigh shall rot: and the woman shall be a curse among her people.
Num 5:28  And if the woman be not defiled, but be clean; then she shall be free, and shall conceive seed. [If she conceives seed from her husband after this ceremony, then this means her “thigh did not rot”, which means her womb did not dry up.]
Num 5:29  This is the law of jealousies, when a wife goeth aside to another instead of her husband, and is defiled;
Num 5:30  Or when the spirit of jealousy cometh upon him, and he be jealous over his wife, and shall set the woman before the LORD, and the priest shall execute upon her all this law.
Num 5:31  Then shall the man be guiltless from iniquity, and this woman shall bear her iniquity.

This literal trespass of a woman being in suspicion of cheating on her husband, is actually speaking of spiritual trespass and is speaking of when we take credit for our own understanding of the word of God and believe we are free moral beings in coming to the knowledge of truth. It is akin to these verses:

Rev 22:18  For I testify unto every man that heareth the words of the prophecy of this book, If any man shall add unto these things, God shall add unto him the plagues that are written in this book:
Rev 22:19  And if any man shall take away from the words of the book of this prophecy, God shall take away his part out of the book of life, and out of the holy city, and from the things which are written in this book.
Rev 22:20  He which testifieth these things saith, Surely I come quickly. Amen. Even so, come, Lord Jesus.

As the virgin bride of Christ, we are this woman, and if we lean to our own understanding and take any credit for the things we know, we will bear no seed, no new doctrines of Christ for the body to see, and our belly will swell. The definition for “swell” is:

The word “turgid” means:

There’s the answer to what a swelling belly represents – a bombastic, inflated, pompous manner of thinking! The scriptures we were reading used a better word, the word “iniquity” and the definition by scripture is:

Eze 33:13  When I shall say to the righteous, that he shall surely live; if he trust to his own righteousness and commit iniquity, all his righteousnesses shall not be remembered; but for his iniquity that he hath committed, he shall die for it.

So, from this definition, to be self-righteous is the definition for iniquity, and to have iniquity means you believe in the works of yourself over the works of Christ. This is the reason the offering is a tenth part of an ephah of barley, ten being the number for the completion of the flesh. Barley is harvested in the spring, the first fruits, correlating to our harvest in Christ, the first fruits of the first Fruit.

Rth 1:22  So Naomi returned, and Ruth the Moabitess, her daughter in law, with her, which returned out of the country of Moab: and they came to Bethlehem in the beginning of barley harvest.

2Sa 21:9  And he delivered them into the hands of the Gibeonites, and they hanged them in the hill before the LORD: and they fell all seven together, and were put to death in the days of harvest, in the first days, in the beginning of barley harvest.

If we are caught sharing in the glory of God, robbing our husband Christ from any glory, the completion of the flesh offering is offered, and we drink the water of the word mixed with dust of the temple, our own temple. If we swell in pride from what we have been given in the word, then the curse is showed, and we are convicted of the sin of iniquity, robbing Christ of His glory by laying with the man of sin. At this point we become a curse to the body and an oath among the people. Self-righteousness is the sin of cheating on Christ by giving glory to yourself, your man of sin, and it will always lead to the same result – a bombastic, inflated, pompous manner of thinking, and with this attitude the rest of the body will be turned off and you will become a curse. The saying “thy thigh to rot” simply means your womb closes up, and you cannot have children. For us, no children means that God does not give us the doctrines of Christ.

Num 5:21  Then the priest shall charge the woman with an oath of cursing, and the priest shall say unto the woman, The LORD make thee a curse and an oath among thy people, when the LORD doth make thy thighH3409 to rotH5307, and thy bellyH990 to swell;

The word “thigh” as you can see above is H3409 and means the following:

Generative parts mean having the power to propagate our own species.

And the word “rot” is translated in many ways that shows a judgment:

The word belly means:

So, from these definitions it is plain to see that when it says thy “belly will swell” and thy “thigh will rot”, it is speaking of us swelling in pride, and in that swelling of pride God causes us to be a curse, and we are judged. To most people, they would see this as a bad thing, but we must see it as a good thing. We do not want to be seen as pompous and arrogant, we want to show that all that we are, we are by the hand of our Creator and Husband Jesus Christ. We do not want to take any glory for what we are, and when we claim freewill and free moral agency we are claiming we are separate individuals from our Husband and are not united as one with Him. This is the same thing that all of society is teaching in today’s modern world. When the jealousy offering is made, it is made without oil or frankincense. This is important to note because the oil means it is not given by the spirit of Christ and does not have a sweet smell before God. What this does is separate the wheat from the tares. The offering of barley will expose the person’s iniquity and expose them for cheating on their Husband with the self-righteous man of sin. The water mixed with the dust of the temple (“know ye not that your body is the temple” – 1Co 6:19), “causeth the curse“. So, when we are drinking of the word of God and mixing it with our own flesh, or carnal mind, as though what we receive comes from us, we are drinking the curse that will cause us to become pompous, inflated about ourselves and bombastic. From this state we can receive nothing from the LORD in new doctrine because our self-righteousness has been exposed. But, as in all things, this is to be seen in a is, was and will be application because we are all self-righteous and bloated in thoughts of ourselves. If this was a one-time proclamation, no would be saved from eternal death and all would be lost.

Deu 22:21  Then they shall bring out the damsel to the door of her father’s house, and the men of her city shall stone her with stones that she die: because she hath wrought folly in Israel, to play the whore in her father’s house: so shalt thou put evil away from among you.

Stoning the woman with stones is giving the truth to the person caught in iniquity, the stones being thrown are the true doctrines of Christ handed down by the spirit of God that was in Christ. These truths kill the adulterous woman and all that she has tried to corrupt with.

Rev 17:1  And there came one of the seven angels which had the seven vials, and talked with me, saying unto me, Come hither; I will shew unto thee the judgment of the great whore that sitteth upon many waters:
Rev 17:2  With whom the kings of the earth have committed fornication, and the inhabitants of the earth have been made drunk with the wine of her fornication.
Rev 17:3  So he carried me away in the spirit into the wilderness: and I saw a woman sit upon a scarlet coloured beast, full of names of blasphemy, having seven heads and ten horns.
Rev 17:4  And the woman was arrayed in purple and scarlet colour, and decked with gold and precious stones and pearls, having a golden cup in her hand full of abominations and filthiness of her fornication:
Rev 17:5  And upon her forehead was a name written, MYSTERY, BABYLON THE GREAT, THE MOTHER OF HARLOTS AND ABOMINATIONS OF THE EARTH.

Rev 18:1  And after these things I saw another angel come down from heaven, having great power; and the earth was lightened with his glory.
Rev 18:2  And he cried mightily with a strong voice, saying, Babylon the great is fallen, is fallen, and is become the habitation of devils, and the hold of every foul spirit, and a cage of every unclean and hateful bird.
Rev 18:3  For all nations have drunk of the wine of the wrath of her fornication, and the kings of the earth have committed fornication with her, and the merchants of the earth are waxed rich through the abundance of her delicacies.
Rev 18:4  And I heard another voice from heaven, saying, Come out of her, my people, that ye be not partakers of her sins, and that ye receive not of her plagues.
Rev 18:5  For her sins have reached unto heaven, and God hath remembered her iniquities.
Rev 18:6  Reward her even as she rewarded you, and double unto her double according to her works: in the cup which she hath filled fill to her double.

We all must be stoned to death before we can live. We must all die to self before we can live to Christ. The judgment of the great whore in each of us in a lifetime judgment; it does not happen over night, it is a day by day judgment. We all swell in pride and arrogance at times, and therefore we must all die daily, we must all drink the water that will cause the curse, that water is the word of God. Next week, LORD willing, we will cover the last study on these sets of scripture where we will cover the false accusation by the man and the woman’s innocence.

(Part 4)

The man in these verses who brings the false accusation against the virgin wife is the accuser of the brethren, Satan. He loves to accuse us before the Father because his desire is to murder.

Rev 12:10  And I heard a loud voice saying in heaven, Now is come salvation, and strength, and the kingdom of our God, and the power of his Christ: for the accuser of our brethren is cast down, which accused them before our God day and night.

Joh 8:44  Ye are of your father the devil, and the lusts of your father ye will do. He was a murderer from the beginning, and abode not in the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he speaketh a lie, he speaketh of his own: for he is a liar, and the father of it.

In this study, let’s uncover why the man in Deuteronomy is accusing his wife, what does it mean to chastise the man, and what does a fine of 100 shekels of silver represent. We must remember that at some point we are each character in this story, the man, both women (the faithful and unfaithful) and the father of the woman.

Mat 4:4  But he answered and said, It is written, Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceedeth out of the mouth of God.

To be the innocent wife, we must first be the adulterous wife. We must die before we can live, and we must see ourselves as the adulterous wife who has indeed left her husband to be espoused to another, Christ.

2Co 11:2  For I am jealous over you with godly jealousy: for I have espoused you to one husband, that I may present you as a chaste virgin to Christ.

There is the hidden manna. We are both women, we must be the curse before we can become the blessing. We must die for committing adultery against our first husband, and that death is dying to the old man. The old man gets a spirit of jealousy, like we read in Numbers chapter 5:

Num 5:14  And the spirit of jealousy come upon him, and he be jealous of his wife, and she be defiled: or if the spirit of jealousy come upon him, and he be jealous of his wife, and she be not defiled:

Our old man wants to parade his wife around in pomp and fair, but the wife does not care about the latest hair style, the latest perfume, or being clad in jewelry – which all represent the latest books, the latest tapes, the latest new-found doctrine by Babylon. The old man loves to parade his wife around in these books and tapes, these outward things that seem to make us look religious.

I remember years ago it was the “left behind” series, and then it was the “name it and claim it” movement. Then it was all about “Martin Luther” and “John Calvin”. It was all about, “Have you read what so and so said in the book?” We were never satisfied with Christ, had never even read the bible all the way through, and yet we were buying books about the bible instead of reading the bible – Prayer cloths, anointing oil, and actual holy water from the actual river of Jordan where Christ was baptized! Our eyes were full of adultery and never able to cease from sin.

2Pe 2:14  Having eyes full of adultery, and that cannot cease from sin; beguiling unstable souls: an heart they have exercised with covetous practices; cursed children:

The man of sin loved his wife in this state because she paraded around in the attire of a harlot. We adorned ourselves with all the mainstream religious garb, and he paraded us around like a trophy wife.

Mat 24:43  But know this, that if the goodman of the house [our old manhad known in what watch the thief [Christ] would come, he would have watched, and would not have suffered his house to be broken up.
Mat 24:44  Therefore be ye also ready: for in such an hour as ye think not the Son of man cometh.

The man of sin sees his wife as an adulteress because she no longer runs to the excess in which he wants. He claims she has been running around with another man because she has changed. The spirit of jealousy comes upon him, and he wants justice. What he does not know, nor can he know, is that in discovering her desire for another doctrine he has exposed himself. It is common in a marriage that the one who has jealousy is the one who is doing the cheating. They are portraying onto the other what is going on in their own heart. So it is with the man of sin. He is the guilty party, and he must be chastised.

Deu 22:18  And the elders of that city shall take that man and chastise him;

How is he chastised? He is beaten with many stripes, for by stripes we are healed. Those stripes come in the form of the death of Christ, which brings us atonement and redemption (silver). When we see that we are “the man” and that we are responsible for the death of all the prophets from Abel to Zacharias, we see that when we paraded around in outward apparel, we were killing the prophets and killing Christ. By our outward adorning, we were saying that we could make ourselves right before God without the testimony of the prophets and without the death of Christ.

Luk 12:47  And that servant, which knew his lord’s will, and prepared not himself, neither did according to his will, shall be beaten with many stripes.

Isa 53:5  But he was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities: the chastisement of our peace was upon him; and with his stripes we are healed.

1Pe 2:24  Who his own self bare our sins in his own body on the tree, that we, being dead to sins, should live unto righteousness: by whose stripes ye were healed.

Mat 23:35  That upon you may come all the righteous blood shed upon the earth, from the blood of righteous Abel unto the blood of Zacharias son of Barachias, whom ye slew between the temple and the altar.

From this we understand that we must be chastised, and we must be fined a 100 shekels of silver. Silver is revealed in scripture as atonement and as redemption, (see the study on metals and specifically on silver Silver, Part 1 and Part 2). So, we see that to be atoned for by the blood of Christ, one must be chastened to know that redemption and atonement is needed.

None of us know we need to be atoned for. We think we have done some wrong, but we’re not that bad. We all think we can supply our own righteousness to redeem ourselves. This is not true, and therefore we must be chastened of the LORD with a fine of 100 shekels of silver. 10×10=100 and tells us that it is the complete completion of the flesh. 10 symbolizes the completion of the flesh, and when you multiply it by 10, it is telling us that it is the completion of the flesh to the completion of the flesh. It is telling us that the atonement and redemption is in aorist tense, and we are being atoned for daily, hourly, minute by minute because we are shown what we are daily, hourly, minute by minute. We are shown daily the completion of the flesh and therefore by this knowledge see more of what needs to be redeemed and atoned for.

Deu 22:19  And they shall amerce him in an hundred shekels of silver, and give them unto the father of the damsel, because he hath brought up an evil name upon a virgin of Israel: and she shall be his wife; he may not put her away all his days.

The word “amerce” means:

What is the fine we must pay for speaking against Christ? It is death by fire.

1Co 3:13  Every man’s work shall be made manifest: for the day shall declare it, because it shall be revealed by fire; and the fire shall try every man’s work of what sort it is.

Rev 20:15  And whosoever was not found written in the book of life was cast into the lake of fire.

When we speak against the church, we are speaking against Christ.

Act 9:4  And he fell to the earth, and heard a voice saying unto him, Saul, Saul, why persecutest thou me?
Act 9:5  And he said, Who art thou, Lord? And the Lord said, I am Jesus whom thou persecutest: it is hard for thee to kick against the pricks.

So, the man who persecutes the woman is the old man, who is driven by the deeds of his father the devil, who hates the woman.

Rev 12:3  And there appeared another wonder in heaven; and behold a great red dragon, having seven heads and ten horns, and seven crowns upon his heads.
Rev 12:4  And his tail drew the third part of the stars of heaven, and did cast them to the earth: and the dragon stood before the woman which was ready to be delivered, for to devour her child as soon as it was born.
Rev 12:5  And she brought forth a man child, who was to rule all nations with a rod of iron: and her child was caught up unto God, and to his throne.
Rev 12:6  And the woman fled into the wilderness, where she hath a place prepared of God, that they should feed her there a thousand two hundred and threescore days.
Rev 12:7  And there was war in heaven: Michael and his angels fought against the dragon; and the dragon fought and his angels,
Rev 12:8  And prevailed not; neither was their place found any more in heaven.
Rev 12:9  And the great dragon was cast out, that old serpent, called the Devil, and Satan, which deceiveth the whole world: he was cast out into the earth, and his angels were cast out with him.
Rev 12:10  And I heard a loud voice saying in heaven, Now is come salvation, and strength, and the kingdom of our God, and the power of his Christ: for the accuser of our brethren is cast down, which accused them before our God day and night.
Rev 12:11  And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb, and by the word of their testimony; and they loved not their lives unto the death.

Our heavens have become clean, we have received the testimony of truth; that Christ is the Creator, we are not. We have turned against the doctrines of devils that have had us enslaved from birth, the doctrines of devils that has said, “Ye are gods.” We know that without Christ we are worms and not gods, but with Christ we are united as one with Him and therefore become gods over the rest of creation who is still dwelling upon the earth – flesh. We are still looking to the flesh for truth, still thinking flesh can know between good and evil, not knowing that all the flesh knows comes from doctrines of devils.

Rev 12:12  Therefore rejoice, ye heavens, and ye that dwell in them. Woe to the inhabiters of the earth and of the sea! for the devil is come down unto you, having great wrath, because he knoweth that he hath but a short time.
Rev 12:13  And when the dragon saw that he was cast unto the earth, he persecuted the woman which brought forth the man child.
Rev 12:14  And to the woman were given two wings of a great eagle, that she might fly into the wilderness, into her place, where she is nourished for a time, and times, and half a time, from the face of the serpent.
Rev 12:15  And the serpent cast out of his mouth water as a flood after the woman, that he might cause her to be carried away of the flood.
Rev 12:16  And the earth helped the woman, and the earth opened her mouth, and swallowed up the flood which the dragon cast out of his mouth.
Rev 12:17  And the dragon was wroth with the woman, and went to make war with the remnant of her seed, which keep the commandments of God, and have the testimony of Jesus Christ.

The verses of this chapter tell us that the casting out of Satan with his demons out of our heavens is in aorist tense. It is in the ‘is, was and will be’ tense. We are constantly being cleansed from old doctrine, but once the process has began it is as leaven that will leaven the whole lump.

The leavening of our hearts and minds with the kingdom of God is the same as Satan and his angels being thrown out of our heavens. It is continual and on going, like the accusations of the man against the woman in Deuteronomy. The punishment of the man of sin is the redemption of the woman by Christ, her Father. The silver represents our atonement and redemption and the 100 represents the ongoing completion of the flesh until we are fully redeemed in the first resurrection. The accuser of the brethren is being cast down, and their place in our heavens is being discovered daily by the light of Christ. As the light of Christ, truth exposes darkness, we are coming to the Light that we may be shown how our deeds are wrought in God.

When we are brought to the light or as darkness is exposed in our heavens, we can see that all was done to bring us to truth, everything is “WROUGHT”. All things were created in our lives and consist in our lives for the glory of bringing us into the kingdom of God, where we exist in peace, love, and joy. No more tears about the past, no more worries about the future, because we exist in Christ, in the now.

Col 1:15  Who is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn of every creature:
Col 1:16  For by him were all things created, that are in heaven, and that are in earth, visible and invisible, whether they be thrones, or dominions, or principalities, or powers: all things were created by him, and for him:
Col 1:17  And he is before all things, and by him all things consist.

In these studies we learned that we are the innocent virgin, and the proof of our dowry is knowing that we, too, must suffer as Christ did. The shedding of blood is the dying of self. Knowing what we are in the flesh, the defiled daughter of Israel allows us to see that we are the innocent virgin of Israel. Worshiping of ourselves is worshiping idols and being defiled by them. Seeing Christ as the Creator of all things in our life, and in the world as a whole, is worshipping the Father in Truth, being the innocent virgin – Innocent because we have seen ourselves in the flesh as defiled. The proof of our defilement is a swollen belly, swollen gut, from where we are self-worshiping, prideful, bombastic, inflated about our own works and believing we have a will that is free from all influences, inwardly and outwardly. That we are indeed, as the serpent said, gods knowing what is good and what is evil. In knowing that we are, in the fleshly carnal mind, bloated with self-thought and glorification, we are exposing the accuser for who he is. He accuses us of being defiled, not knowing that what we are in the spirit is not what we are in the flesh. He cannot separate our physical birth from our spiritual. Therefore he accuses us of not being innocent because of the physical. This exercise in truth to the elect is what Christ is doing in creating us into His image. It is a daily exercise in denying the accuser of his constant firery darts.

Eph 6:16  Above all, taking the shield of faith, wherewith ye shall be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked.

His darts come in accusations, trying to make us look to the past fleshly sins, to the future for the planning of the deeds of the flesh, anything past or future to keep our minds off the one present truth that he cannot accept.

1Jn 3:2  Beloved, now are we the sons of God, and it doth not yet appear what we shall be: but we know that, when he shall appear, we shall be like him; for we shall see him as he is.

If we are taken away by the past or looking into the future for planning of “What I WILL DO”, we are not quenching the lies of the devil who comes to steal, kill and destroy our hope. We must ABOVE ALL take the shield of faith, that what God the Father has said He would do, He will do.
