Deu 2:16 "When The Men of War Were Consumed..."

Deu 2:16 So it came to pass, when all the men of war were consumed and dead from among the people,
Deu 2:17 That the LORD spake unto me, saying,
Deu 2:18 Thou art to pass over through Ar, the coast of Moab, this day:
Deu 2:19 And when thou comest nigh over against the children of Ammon, distress them not, nor meddle with them: for I will not give thee of the land of the children of Ammon any possession; because I have given it unto the children of Lot for a possession.

"When the men of war (who warred against God) were consumed AND DEAD from among the people (new Israel)" - THE LORD SPOKE UNTO ME. It's not a coincidence that after the literal men of Israel who doubted God, which is warring against God, were consumed AND dead, that God then spoke to Moses. Before we are able to receive the words of God, we must die to who we are in the beginning.

Joh 3:3 Jesus answered and said unto him, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God.
Joh 12:24 Verily, verily, I say unto you, Except a corn of wheat fall into the ground and die, it abideth alone: but if it die, it bringeth forth much fruit.

We cannot receive the things of God because the things of God are spiritual. Unless we die to the thoughts that we in the flesh stand on our own backbone (Eziongaber), and that we cannot understand things of the spirit in the flesh, we will continue to be blinded by God to think we can just pick up the bible and understand God. We will continue to believe that the parables were an explanation of Who God is, and we can understand Him now because Jesus gave us the parables. This is the CARNAL way of receiving the parables and is in fact the proof that what God planned to happen by the parables has happened - they blinded the masses. Lets look at a parable where Christ said:

Mar 4:13 ...Know ye not THIS PARABLE? and how then will ye know all parables?

Christ is saying, if YOU (put your name in there) do not understand this parable and what it is speaking about YOU, how are you going to understand any parable, because they're all talking about YOU.

Mar 4:14 The sower soweth the word.

The sower is the spirit of Christ in our earth which plants seed in fertile ground that has been tilled by trials and fertilized by truth. After going through the wayside, the stoney ground and the thorn and briar stage, we end up in good ground. The seed is the Word of God, by Whom all things are created and sustained. This parable is to be explained and revealed by the Elect only. We are the apostatized "earth, earth, earth" which God allows to HEAR THE WORD OF THE LORD. Notice the three stages of judgment before we hear "earth, earth, earth, HEAR", or you could say 'wayside, stoney, thorny, HEAR' - three stages (Jer 22:29).

Mat 13:37 He answered and said unto them, He that soweth the good seed is the Son of man;

Col 1:16 For by him were all things created, that are in heaven, and that are in earth, visible and invisible, whether they be thrones, or dominions, or principalities, or powers: all things were created by him, and for him:
Col 1:17 And he is before all things, and by him all things consist.

All things CREATED in my heavens and my earth, visible and invisible, and that CONSIST in my heavens and earth, visible and invisible, do so by The Sower, the Word, The LORD Jesus Christ. This parable and each description apply to each one of our progressive creations by death and then life. Each stage of the seed is a progression in my life.

Mar 4:15 And these are they by the way side, where the word is sown; but when they have heard, Satan cometh immediately, and taketh away the word that was sown in their hearts.

These seeds "by the way side" are when I say within myself the following things, which is Satan within me taking away the word. We must remember that when it says Satan, it is speaking not only of Satan himself, but also us as his children. We take on his name, just as we take on the name of our earthly father. When our last name is pronounced, it is speaking not just of our father but of the whole as a clan or people. So when Satan comes to steal away the seed by the wayside, inwardly it is speaking of me personally who steal the seed from myself by false doctrine which is instilled within me. So with these thoughts we say to the truth:

Joh 8:13 ..... thy record is not true.

Joh 8:19 Then said they unto him, Where is thy Father? Jesus answered,

Joh 8:25 Then said they unto him, Who art thou?....

Joh 8:27 They understood not that he spake to them of the Father.

Joh 8:33 They answered him, We be Abraham's seed, and were never in bondage to any man: how sayest thou, Ye shall be made free?

Joh 8:48 Then answered the Jews, and said unto him, Say we not well that thou art a Samaritan, and hast a devil?

Joh 8:52 Then said the Jews unto him, Now we know that thou hast a devil. Abraham is dead, and the prophets; and thou sayest, If a man keep my saying, he shall never taste of death.
Joh 8:53 Art thou greater than our father Abraham, which is dead? and the prophets are dead: whom makest thou thyself?

Joh 8:59 Then took they up stones to cast at him: but Jesus hid himself, and went out of the temple, going through the midst of them, and so passed by.

This is the Seed/the truth which Satan within us does not want us to receive. He does not want us to know we are his children, so we call Christ WHAT WE ARE, A SAMARITAN, half Babylonian and half Israelite, WITH A DEVIL.

Joh 8:43 Why do ye not understand my speech? even because ye cannot hear my word.
Joh 8:44 Ye are of your father the devil, and the lusts of your father ye will do. He was a murderer from the beginning, and abode not in the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he speaketh a lie, he speaketh of his own: for he is a liar, and the father of it.

How can Christ say this about the Devil? Because Christ created him that way. The Devil being created without truth, IS the TRUTH ITSELF. Babylon teaches Satan was first named Lucifer and was perfect until he fell from literal heaven and was then named Satan. This is what makes us his children, because we do not know truth from physical birth, we must be BORN AGAIN, SPIRITUALLY, before we can know truth. A leopard cannot change his spots and an Ethiopian his color (Jer 13:23), neither can we change ourselves from our physical creation into a spiritual creation, dying to the lie we are physically born as and recreating ourselves into a spiritual creation. This is the lie that all humanity, all of Adam's descendants, have believed from generation to generation from the mouth of their lying fathers - "you shall not surely die" (Gen 3:4). In my case I was told, "There is no God, God is for weak people who can't take care of themselves."

Mar 4:16 And these are they likewise (this is still talking about us; we are all stages, not those bad people out there, but ourselves) which are sown on stony ground; who, when they have heard the word, immediately receive it with gladness;
Mar 4:17 And have no root in themselves, and so endure but for a time: afterward, when affliction or persecution ariseth for the word's sake, immediately they are offended.

These are they that are on stoney ground in us;

Mat 21:9 And the multitudes that went before, and that followed, cried, saying, Hosanna to the Son of David: Blessed is he that cometh in the name of the Lord; Hosanna in the highest.

And this is us as that stoney ground when we are offended at Christ in us.

Joh 19:14 And it was the preparation of the passover, and about the sixth hour: and he saith unto the Jews, Behold your King!
Joh 19:15 But they cried out, Away with him, away with him, crucify him. Pilate saith unto them, Shall I crucify your King? The chief priests answered, We have no king but Caesar.

At one point we are yelling "Hosanna, praise God", then immediately afterward we are yelling "crucify Him, crucify Him" because the truth has offended our religiousness and exposed us for who we are, sons of the Devil in the flesh, a lie from birth. The reason humanity has gotten progressively worse is we start with the lie that we are perfect from birth, and now we are perfect up to age 25 in America. We have taught our children that they can do no wrong, that God created them perfect from birth and all that they do is good. This lie permeates and saturates every thought we have from birth, and we are told it over and over and over until it courses through our veins like blood, and it keeps us alive.

Mar 4:18 And these are they which are sown among thorns; such as hear the word,
Mar 4:19 And the cares of this world, and the deceitfulness of riches, and the lusts of other things entering in, choke the word, and it becometh unfruitful.

Notice, it says "among thorns". The thorns are our self-righteous religous works which we believe we do in and of ourselves.

Heb 6:7 For the earth which drinketh in the rain that cometh oft upon it, and bringeth forth herbs meet for them by whom it is dressed, receiveth blessing from God:
Heb 6:8 But that which beareth thorns and briers is rejected, and is nigh unto cursing; whose end is to be burned.

Gen 3:17 And unto Adam he said, Because thou hast hearkened unto the voice of thy wife, and hast eaten of the tree, of which I commanded thee, saying, Thou shalt not eat of it: cursed is the ground for thy sake; in sorrow shalt thou eat of it all the days of thy life;
Gen 3:18 Thorns also and thistles shall it bring forth to thee; and thou shalt eat the herb of the field;

The word in us does not destroy this particular doctrine at this time because my thorns and briars are left for the PURPOSE of burning. The thorns and briars make a good fire, a hot fire, a quick fire which God uses to burn us with unquenchable heat to show us He creates all and all consists by Him. These thorns and briars must be burned up so that the good ground under it can be plowed and fertilized by the trials of the burning. I burn leaves and sticks on my garden area every year for fertilizer and to rid the ground of weeds. Then I plow it in the spring and fertilize it to make it good ground. God does the same to us. He prepares the ground first by giving some to the fowls of our air to get the word circulating in our heavens where the fowls fly and eventually discard the word as dung while we fly. Then as the word is discarded by the birds as dung among stones, it falls in between them and fertilizes the ground. Once He removes the stones the briars and thorns grow. The briars and stones are burned with fire, which represent the word of God. Then the ground is ready to receive the word.

Mar 4:20 And these are they which are sown on good ground; such as hear the word, and receive it, and bring forth fruit, some thirtyfold, some sixty, and some an hundred.

We know why we are good ground now, we know why we hear now, and we know why we receive it, because He has, as a good Husbandman, dressed the earth and prepared it. Now He plants good seed in it which He knows will bring forth thirty, sixty and hundred-fold for His pleasure. We must first be deceived by our nature as a child of the Devil in our unclean thoughts of The Word. Represented by the fowls of the air that fly around in our yet unpurified heavens and devour, The Word as knowledge unfit for us. We must then be the stony ground where we are easily offended by the Word until we crucify Him. Then in the third stage, the last stage of the process of judgment, we are the thorns and briers, where we are self-righteous and used to burn up all that I see as mine. After this the ground has been prepared to receive The Word. It begins to grow, and at this stage brings forth fruit for the Master to eat.

Why does it bring forth fruit? Because it has died. Jesus Christ, The Word, came into this world and died so that He could bring forth fruit unto His Father. Much of which has been spoken of Him over the past two thousand years has been from the wayside, on stony ground, and from thorns and briers , all for the purpose burning the earth so that the Elect can receive The Word in this Aion.

In Babylon we are taught that these words apply only to those people 'OUT THERE' hooked on drugs, alcohol, tax collectors, all those in prison and jails. We are taught that Satan is running around willy-nilly just killing all he decides to kill, and God is frantically trying to get some of us saved before it's too late and they are all sent to hell to burn for all of eternity. If it does apply to us, Babylon teaches that it's when we aren't spending enough time in their buildings giving them their just desserts to keep their coffers filled. But all of this is still part of the growth of the earth until it is BURNT WITH AN UNQUENCHABLE FIRE to kill all thorns and briars. After the burning, the ground is prepared to receive the The Word by The Christ, Who is then the sower of His Master, Christ.

All of this is to say, that after we have been shown what we are, have been able to receive The Word after the wayside experience, after the stones experience, after the thorns experience, made good ground, then we hear;

Deu 2:16 So it came to pass, when all the men of war were consumed and dead from among the people,
Deu 2:17 That the LORD spake unto me, saying,
Deu 2:18 Thou art to pass over through Ar, the coast of Moab, this day:

This whole wilderness experience is the parable of The Sower of the seed from the old testament.

(1) They were given The Word by the way side in the promise to Abraham;

Gen 12:1 Now the LORD had said unto Abram, Get thee out of thy country, and from thy kindred, and from thy father's house, unto a land that I will shew thee:
Gen 12:2 And I will make of thee a great nation, and I will bless thee, and make thy name great; and thou shalt be a blessing:
Gen 12:3 And I will bless them that bless thee, and curse him that curseth thee: and in thee shall all families of the earth be blessed.

This is how Abram receives these promises.

Gen 12:11 And it came to pass, when he was come near to enter into Egypt, that he said unto Sarai his wife, Behold now, I know that thou art a fair woman to look upon:
Gen 12:12 Therefore it shall come to pass, when the Egyptians shall see thee, that they shall say, This is his wife: and they will kill me, but they will save thee alive.
Gen 12:13 Say, I pray thee, thou art my sister: that it may be well with me for thy sake; and my soul shall live because of thee.

I think it's obvious that Abraham did not believe the promises immediately, just as we don't.

(2) They were given the word among the stones in Egypt;

Exo 3:15 And God said moreover unto Moses, Thus shalt thou say unto the children of Israel, The LORD God of your fathers, the God of Abraham, the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob, hath sent me unto you: this is my name for ever, and this is my memorial unto all generations.
Exo 3:16 Go, and gather the elders of Israel together, and say unto them, The LORD God of your fathers, the God of Abraham, of Isaac, and of Jacob, appeared unto me, saying, I have surely visited you, and seen that which is done to you in Egypt:
Exo 3:17 And I have said, I will bring you up out of the affliction of Egypt unto the land of the Canaanites, and the Hittites, and the Amorites, and the Perizzites, and the Hivites, and the Jebusites, unto a land flowing with milk and honey.

Exo 5:20 And they met Moses and Aaron, who stood in the way, as they came forth from Pharaoh:
Exo 5:21 And they said unto them, The LORD look upon you, and judge; because ye have made our savour to be abhorred in the eyes of Pharaoh, and in the eyes of his servants, to put a sword in their hand to slay us.
Exo 5:22 And Moses returned unto the LORD, and said, Lord, wherefore hast thou so evil entreated this people? why is it that thou hast sent me?
Exo 5:23 For since I came to Pharaoh to speak in thy name, he hath done evil to this people; neither hast thou delivered thy people at all.

(3) They were given the word among the thorns and briars in the wilderness;

Num 33:55 But if ye will not drive out the inhabitants of the land from before you; then it shall come to pass, that those which ye let remain of them shall be pricks in your eyes, and thorns in your sides, and shall vex you in the land wherein ye dwell.
Num 33:56 Moreover it shall come to pass, that I shall do unto you, as I thought to do unto them.

(4) And finally, they were given the word after the burning of the wilderness on good ground, represented by the promised land.

Now The LORD speaks to the good ground;

Jos 1:3 Every place that the sole of your foot shall tread upon, that have I given unto you, as I said unto Moses.
Jos 1:4 From the wilderness and this Lebanon even unto the great river, the river Euphrates, all the land of the Hittites, and unto the great sea toward the going down of the sun, shall be your coast.
Jos 1:5 There shall not any man be able to stand before thee all the days of thy life: as I was with Moses, so I will be with thee: I will not fail thee, nor forsake thee.
Jos 1:6 Be strong and of a good courage: for unto this people shalt thou divide for an inheritance the land, which I sware unto their fathers to give them.
Jos 1:7 Only be thou strong and very courageous, that thou mayest observe to do according to all the law, which Moses my servant commanded thee: turn not from it to the right hand or to the left, that thou mayest prosper whithersoever thou goest.
Jos 1:8 This book of the law shall not depart out of thy mouth; but thou shalt meditate therein day and night, that thou mayest observe to do according to all that is written therein: for then thou shalt make thy way prosperous, and then thou shalt have good success.
Jos 1:9 Have not I commanded thee? Be strong and of a good courage; be not afraid, neither be thou dismayed: for the LORD thy God is with thee whithersoever thou goest.

We've covered the children of Israel coming out of the wilderness in Deuteronomy 2:16 by the parable of the Sower of the seed, which we can see describes the same journey that the literal Israelites went through in their lives from Abram to Joshua. This same journey is our journey, from the first conception of truth planted in our heart by the wayside, to the good ground, represented by the promised land, where the planted seed produces fruit.

Next week, LORD willing, we will hear what The LORD speaks to us about passing over Ar, the coast of Moab, THIS DAY.

Deu 2:17 That the LORD spake unto me, saying,
Deu 2:18 Thou art to pass over through Ar, the coast of Moab, this day:
