Deuteronomy - Deu 13:1- 5 Signs and Wonders

[Study Aired November 29, 2019]

Deu 13:1  If there arise among you a prophet, or a dreamer of dreams, and giveth thee a sign or a wonder,
Deu 13:2  And the sign or the wonder come to pass, whereof he spake unto thee, saying, Let us go after other gods, which thou hast not known, and let us serve them;

Deu 13:3  Thou shalt not hearken unto the words of that prophet, or that dreamer of dreams: for the LORD your God proveth you, to know whether ye love the LORD your God with all your heart and with all your soul.
Deu 13:4  Ye shall walk after the LORD your God, and fear him, and keep his commandments, and obey his voice, and ye shall serve him, and cleave unto him.
Deu 13:5  And that prophet, or that dreamer of dreams, shall be put to death; because he hath spoken to turn you away from the LORD your God, which brought you out of the land of Egypt, and redeemed you out of the house of bondage, to thrust thee out of the way which the LORD thy God commanded thee to walk in. So shalt thou put the evil away from the midst of thee.

Verse one says, "giveth thee a sign or a wonder" and verse two says "the sign or wonder come to pass" by him saying...."let us go after other gods, which thou hast not known, and let us serve them". The sign and wonder is not a prediction or futuristic predictions. The sign itself is their words confirmed  by saying "let us go after other gods and serve them". The word sign in this verse is:

A signal, a flag, a mark. This same word "sign" is used in a very known scripture as " a mark";

Gen 4:15  And the LORD said unto him, Therefore whosoever slayeth Cain, vengeance shall be taken on him sevenfold. And the LORD set a mark upon Cain, lest any finding him should kill him.

It is easy to spot those who are dabbling in false doctrines because they give us a sign or a signal with their words and then confirm it by their words. The sign is a signal, a warning flag, to show us to watch and listen to what they have to say. When my flesh says, "I believe the scripture says this" or "I believe the scripture really means this" and it starts off with the word "I", we know that's our warning sign. A false prophet, which is someone who ventures outside sound doctrine, will always give you a reading from their own personal interpretation.

2Pe 1:19  We have also a more sure word of prophecy; whereunto ye do well that ye take heed, as unto a light that shineth in a dark place (a sign), until the day dawn, and the day star arise in your hearts:
2Pe 1:20  Knowing this first, that no prophecy of the scripture is of any private interpretation.
2Pe 1:21  For the prophecy came not in old time by the will of man: but holy men of God spake as they were moved by the Holy Ghost.

A sign was shown from a Brother who left chasing after other gods. The sign was that his words seemed to cross the line back into Babylonian doctrine, calling God by names that made him FEEL religious.  I was given a signal by his words which came from doctrines of Babylon, to watch out for what his words would confirm or deny, and that is exactly what happened. His words confirmed the sign that he left chasing after other gods which I had not known.

The sign is not something between just you and God, some special cloud in the sky, or certain red birds in your window. That's witchcraft. The sign is in the word, in scripture. If their words do not match up with scripture, and they add or subtract from scripture, then if they are not corrected, they will confirm their idolatry with words that want you to be drawn to their gods.  When people come to us twisting the word or perverting the word, you can bet that their words will soon follow which will lead them after other gods. We are not to be looking for signs or miracles in the sky, omens or trinkets from God outside of scripture. Every sign will be in scripture that will accuse them or excuse them. I use to look for signs and omens that my day of deer hunting or fishing was going to be a good one. I used to think if I saw a certain bird or if a hawk or an eagle flew over me, it was a sign from God that the day's hunt would be good because He sent His eyes in the bird to show me where the deer were. I thought it was in my Indian heritage that I was able to always be a good hunter, that it was something with which I inherently was born. I said I believed in God and Christ but still relied on these signs and omens. I was a false prophet, a Baal worshiper and followed Ashtoreth (1 Kgs 11:5). This was my sign about Esau in me. It was my sign that my flesh was a false prophet about Who God is, was and will be. This same principle is given to us to see when we are straying from the power of the truth.

Rom 1:16  For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ: for it is the power of God unto salvation (salvation from death and not the false doctrine of a literal burning hell) to every one that believeth; to the Jew first, and also to the Greek.

The truth of who I was created in the first Adam is a core truth of the gospel. If I do not see myself dead in sins and self-righteousness I cannot see myself resurrected in a new creation in the spirit. In the truth of knowing what we are is the power of God unto our resurrection. I cannot be resurrected unless I can see myself as dead. In this truth is the power of God unto salvation from the second death. If I am given to see that I am dead now, I can be resurrected now and be part of the first resurrection in which the second death has no power. Seeing ourselves as sin, from which comes death, is the beginning of our resurrection.

Eph 2:1  And you hath he quickened, who were dead in trespasses and sins;

Rev 20:6  Blessed and holy is he that hath part in the first resurrection: on such the second death hath no power, but they shall be priests of God and of Christ, and shall reign with him a thousand years.

Col 3:1  If ye then be risen with Christ, seek those things which are above, where Christ sitteth on the right hand of God.

1Co 15:56  The sting of death is sin; and the strength of sin is the law.

Rom 1:17  For therein (the power of God in the gospel) is the righteousness of God revealed from faith to faith: as it is written, The just shall live by faith.

We must have the faith of Christ to believe that God created us in the first Adam we were, to recreate us into the second Adam which we are now in Christ. We rarely think that it takes faith to believe we are created dead in sinful bodies. If we have faith that we are dead, we realize no work can save us from death except the power of God in the gospel. If I do not have the faith of Christ to believe this report, then I am on a lifetime journey of trying to work myself from the dead, to God, without Christ. Again, a live man does not need resurrecting, but a dead man does. To show us what we are, God has revealed it to us by our words and actions to whom we give the glory for what we are, either in the first Adam or in the second Adam.

Rom 1:18  For the wrath of God is revealed from heaven against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of men, who hold the truth in unrighteousness;

God's wrath is uncovered from our heavens concerning what we think about God. God has judged us as dead because of what comes from our heavens about what we think of God and Who we believe He is. Our thoughts of God come from a dead man who cannot think, talk or see, yet says that he, a dead man, can bring about life through his own actions. We believe we can, as a dead man (not knowing we are dead), bring about righteousness, right thinking, right judgment, a right life that will worship God. This false doctrine, this false prophet, is then revealed by worshiping false gods of a dead imagination. The sign is there, He has openly revealed to the world Who He is, was and will be, but because we are dead, we confess something different. First the confession, then follow the actions.

Rom 1:19  Because that which may be known of God is manifest in them; for God hath shewed it unto them.
Rom 1:20  For the invisible things of him from the creation of the world are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even his eternal power and Godhead; so that they are without excuse:

This word "manifest" is G5318 and comes from G5316 - "to lighten (shine), apparent". It is given to all creation to see that they are creations and not creators. We did not, and cannot, create ourselves, but we are the results of what He has created.  What comes from a woman's womb is not the results of the woman's creation or the man's creation. It is apparent that it comes from the Creator of that baby. He uses His creation to create, but the creation is not the Creator. "I have planted, Apollos watered, but God gave the increase" (1Co 3:6). This truth is "apparent", it "shines" from our heavens, our hearts and minds. Because we are dead we cannot see the light of the truth, or the Light that is Truth. Because we cannot see truth in the flesh, from a carnal mind, the first heaven, God reveals to His elect the state of humanity through works of the flesh, that the flesh is dead and can only produce dead works.

Rom 1:21  Because that, when they knew God, they glorified him not as God, neither were thankful; but became vain in their imaginations, and their foolish heart was darkened.
Rom 1:22  Professing themselves to be wise, they became fools,
Rom 1:23  And changed the glory of the uncorruptible God into an image made like to corruptible man, and to birds, and fourfooted beasts, and creeping things.

Our spiritually dead old man can only see in the natural and cannot judge spiritual matters. God has revealed to the world Who He is, was and will be, yet we cannot see Him because we are flesh. We are drawn away from truth in worshiping things which come from our foolish hearts - birds, four-footed things and creeping things. We look for signs in the sky, in the animals, in the weather, like today's Baal worshipers who believe in "man-made" global warming. They cannot see that God Himself is in control of all weather, all animals and all of creation. These things are not moved by the hand of man but by the hand of God. God uses His creation to bring about destruction, but it is not man's work but the work of God through His creation. Samson is a perfect example. God used Samson's carnal flesh to bring about the death and destruction of the Philistines. God used what He had created in Samson to bring about the death of the Philistines. He created Samson to be a whoremonger of the Philistine women.

Jdg 14:1  And Samson went down to Timnath, and saw a woman in Timnath of the daughters of the Philistines.
Jdg 14:2  And he came up, and told his father and his mother, and said, I have seen a woman in Timnath of the daughters of the Philistines: now therefore get her for me to wife.
Jdg 14:3  Then his father and his mother said unto him, Is there never a woman among the daughters of thy brethren, or among all my people, that thou goest to take a wife of the uncircumcised Philistines? And Samson said unto his father, Get her for me; for she pleaseth me well.
Jdg 14:4  But his father and his mother knew not that it was of the LORD, that he sought an occasion against the Philistines (through Samsons carnal lusts): for at that time the Philistines had dominion over Israel.
Jdg 15:15  And he found a new jawbone of an ass, and put forth his hand, and took it, and slew a thousand men therewith.
Jdg 15:16  And Samson said, With the jawbone of an ass, heaps upon heaps, with the jaw of an ass have I slain a thousand men.
Jdg 16:26  And Samson said unto the lad that held him by the hand, Suffer me that I may feel the pillars whereupon the house standeth, that I may lean upon them.
Jdg 16:27  Now the house was full of men and women; and all the lords of the Philistines were there; and there were upon the roof about three thousand men and women, that beheld while Samson made sport.
Jdg 16:28  And Samson called unto the LORD, and said, O Lord GOD, remember me, I pray thee, and strengthen me, I pray thee, only this once, O God, that I may be at once avenged of the Philistines for my two eyes.
Jdg 16:29  And Samson took hold of the two middle pillars upon which the house stood, and on which it was borne up, of the one with his right hand, and of the other with his left.
Jdg 16:30  And Samson said, Let me die with the Philistines. And he bowed himself with all his might; and the house fell upon the lords, and upon all the people that were therein. So the dead which he slew at his death were more than they which he slew in his life.

God created Samson to be what he was to bring about the slaughter of the Philistines in his life and even more in his death. Samson did not wake up as a child and say, "I am going to be a whoremonger and disobey the revealed will of God." No, he was made what he was for the purpose of God. He was made sin for the purpose of defeating sin. That is the story for every human who was ever created. It is not a story of whoremongering and disobedience. It is a story of your and my life, in our own way. We are created sin for the purpose of destroying sin. Our manifestations of sin in the flesh are for the purpose of destroying the sin of self-righteousness. All hopes of claiming we can create ourselves into better people for God must be destroyed.

God used Moses to part the waters of the red sea (Exo 14:16), but Moses did not take credit for it. He said, "...Fear ye not, stand still, and see the salvation of the LORD..." (Exo 14:13). Today's Baal worshipers and worshipers of the goddess of heaven, Ashtorath, believe man has the power to move the earth and create havoc, but this is a false prophesy. Man can only do what God has predestined he do - nothing more, nothing less. The flesh sees itself using an ax to split wood, the spiritual man sees God splitting the wood through His creation. The natural man sees himself a great hunter, the spiritual man sees God giving His creation to His creation. We change the glory of God into an image of man. We see from natural eyes, not spiritual eyes, unless God's Seed has opened our spiritual eyes and we are born again, otherwise we cannot see. If not, we will be given over to worship ourselves and then be exposed for what we are.

Rom 1:24  Wherefore God also gave them up to uncleanness through the lusts of their own hearts, to dishonour their own bodies between themselves:
Rom 1:25  Who changed the truth of God into a lie, and worshipped and served the creature more than the Creator, who is blessed for ever. Amen.

"Wherefore" Because of all that was said in the preceding verses about man worshiping man, pleasuring themselves with false doctrine, doctrines of men pleasuring men, God gives us over to the flesh, and in doing so the flesh reveals who it loves - its own kind. Sodomy or sodomites are the revealing of the heart of man. I do not use these words to offend, but use them because they are the titles God has given for this particular sin. The words "gay" and "homosexual" are words given by man to lessen the sting of the truth of this sin. These titles are given to make one feel it's okay and it makes us feel that the words of God are harsh and unloving. The same goes for the word "fornicator". It has been replaced in a thousand different ways to soften the truth of it, like a "hook up", or "one night stand".  This particular sin, sodomy, is the revealing that mankind loves itself so much that it will have sex with itself - man with man, that cannot produce offspring, women with women that cannot produce offspring. This is the one sin that is so revealing about what man thinks of himself. God so dishonors the human race that He Himself gives us over to this sin. This sin is growing more and more throughout the world. It is seen as normal to be a Sodomite. To say anything different makes you a bigot or a terrorist, but this sin is sent to the human race to show that it is not God. God has given this sin as a sign that the human race thinks it is God. This one particular sin is the indicator that man glories in himself so much that he goes against nature, and that is a sign he has gone against the truth and turned God's glory into a lie. We have changed the glory of God into our glory, therefore God has given the world over to be Sodomites for the distinct purpose of revealing to the saints what mankind is in the flesh; dogs.

Deu 23:17  There shall be no whore of the daughters of Israel, nor a sodomite of the sons of Israel.
Deu 23:18  Thou shalt not bring the hire of a whore, or the price of a dog, into the house of the LORD thy God for any vow: for even both these are abomination unto the LORD thy God.

Pro 26:11  As a dog returneth to his vomit, so a fool returneth to his folly.
Pro 26:12  Seest thou a man wise in his own conceit? there is more hope of a fool than of him.

Mankind returns to his own vomit, what comes from himself. A Sodomite is compared to a dog because he returns to his own kind, his own vomit, to fulfill the lust of the flesh. This particular sin is not worse than other sins like fornication or adultery, but it does hold a particular thing that the others don't in that it specifically points to mankind loving himself over God. It is a sin that shows mankind would rather worship himself than God. It is given as a sign that mankind has changed the glory of God into a disgusting thing made by man. It is called an abomination to worship yourself and sodomy is exactly that.

Lev 18:22  Thou shalt not lie with mankind, as with womankind: it is abomination.

When you are given to see you are loving yourself above God, you have seen that you are an abomination and committing spiritual sodomy.

Mat 24:15  When ye therefore shall see the abomination of desolation, spoken of by Daniel the prophet, stand in the holy place, (whoso readeth, let him understand:)

When God has given us to see that we are committing spiritual sodomy and are the same as those who commit literal sodomy, we are seeing the man of sin and hearing his false prophesy. The doctrine of "let's agree to disagree on the non-essentials and agree on the essentials" is a sodomite doctrine. What it is really saying is that there are NONESSENTIAL words in scripture which God has spoken! "Let's agree with one another on what we call nonessentials and have pleasure in one another on what we call essential. If we do this, we can have the pleasure we desire from one another" - doctrines of men with men working that which is unseemly and discounting the doctrines of Christ.  When we are committing spiritual sodomy, we are saying, "Let's go after other gods." When we change the glory of God into a lie and say we are separate, individual, moral agents from God and that man has it in himself to free himself from his original creation, we have just committed spiritual sodomy. This is the sin that must be repented of and from which the manifestation of the fruit of this sin comes, in literal acts of sins of the flesh. It is because we are saying in our hearts "let's go after other gods" that these following verses are written.

Rom 1:26  For this cause God gave them up unto vile affections: for even their women did change the natural use into that which is against nature:
Rom 1:27  And likewise also the men, leaving the natural use of the woman, burned in their lust one toward another; men with men working that which is unseemly, and receiving in themselves that recompence of their error which was meet.
Rom 1:28  And even as they did not like to retain God in their knowledge (and no man does), God gave them over to a reprobate mind, to do those things which are not convenient;
Rom 1:29  Being filled with all unrighteousness, fornication, wickedness, covetousness, maliciousness; full of envy, murder, debate, deceit, malignity; whisperers,
Rom 1:30  Backbiters, haters of God, despiteful, proud, boasters, inventors of evil things, disobedient to parents,
Rom 1:31  Without understanding, covenantbreakers, without natural affection, implacable, unmerciful:
Rom 1:32  Who knowing the judgment of God, that they which commit such things are worthy of death, not only do the same, but have pleasure in them that do them.

When someone comes to me and says God has created men to lie with men and for women to lie with women, that it is natural, it is a false prophet giving me a sign that he is a false prophet, and he has revealed it with his words. His or her words are them asking me to go after other gods, and those gods are people. When someone comes to me and says that we have freewill, they are doing the same thing.  Mankind wants to be worshiped so badly that they will take what is against the laws of God in nature and turn them around to be a law of man in nature. This is why we are given the desire to smooth out the words of scripture and call "sodomites" gays and "fornication" a hook up.  We are all filled with "...unrighteousness, fornication, wickedness, covetousness, maliciousness; full of envy, murder, debate, deceit, malignity; whisperers, Backbiters, haters of God, despiteful, proud, boasters, inventors of evil things, disobedient to parents,Without understanding, covenantbreakers, without natural affection, implacable, unmerciful: Who knowing the judgment of God, that they which commit such things are worthy of death, not only do the same, but have pleasure in them that do them."

We are all part of the human race and are all sodomites in the spirit, because we all love ourselves more than God. Those who are given over to this sin by God are chosen vessels to show the glory of God in His wrath. God's wrath is revealed from heaven against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of man. We are all ungodly and unrighteous, and God's wrath is on us now, on our flesh. We are going through the fire of God's wrath now on our own ungodliness and unrighteousness. We are no different from anyone else, but we are given the privilege to suffer this wrath now in the first resurrection, so that what we are given to see in this life will be shown to the rest of the world in the next life. Sodomites are the revealing of the wrath of God, and the more the world embraces what is against the law of God in nature, the closer we are to the revealing of the wrath of the Lamb from the literal sky and the ushering in of the 1000 year reign.

Rev 6:14  And the heaven departed as a scroll when it is rolled together; and every mountain and island were moved out of their places.
Rev 6:15  And the kings of the earth, and the great men, and the rich men, and the chief captains, and the mighty men, and every bondman, and every free man, hid themselves in the dens and in the rocks of the mountains;
Rev 6:16  And said to the mountains and rocks, Fall on us, and hide us from the face of him that sitteth on the throne, and from the wrath of the Lamb:
Rev 6:17  For the great day of his wrath is come; and who shall be able to stand? (this is happening now to God's elect in this aion)

1Th 4:16  For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first:
1Th 4:17  Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord.

Rev 12:5  And she brought forth a man child, who was to rule all nations with a rod of iron: and her child was caught up unto God, and to his throne.
Rev 20:6  Blessed and holy is he that hath part in the first resurrection: on such the second death hath no power, but they shall be priests of God and of Christ, and shall reign with him a thousand years.

The false prophet, the dreamer of dreams who tries to give us a sign, is in us, our old man first, then outwardly in the world. The sign is his words that we have freewill and that our life is what WE MAKE OF IT. We are made what we are, and if we are not given see that God is the Creator and we are the creation, then we are Sodomites and have been turned over to dishonor our own bodies between each other. We advocate men with men, spiritually glorifying each other to bring about the glory of God, and then saying it is good. A child cannot be produced from a Sodomite, and that in itself should tell us that we cannot bring about a spiritual child with each other in the flesh. I cannot create - only God can.  God has made each individual what he or she is and has laid out their lives to be what He has desired, unto honor or dishonor...."Therefore...thou art inexcusable, O man, whosoever thou art that judgest: for wherein thou judgest another, thou condemnest thyself; for thou that judgest doest the same things" (Rom 2:1).

We cannot judge the false prophet in a manner that says the false prophesy he has said has come from him because we know that all things are created by our Creator for the purpose of CREATING US IN THIS EON/AION. They are sacrificed for us; they are killed all day long for us. They are Sodomites for us to see that we are Sodomites in the spirit. The world is created for us, and it is sacrificed for us. It has been created and then destroyed for us.

Rom 8:18  For I reckon that the sufferings of this present time are not worthy to be compared with the glory which shall be revealed in us.
Rom 8:19  For the earnest expectation of the creature waiteth for the manifestation of the sons of God. (do we believe this? Do we believe that the world was created for us and that the world itself is waiting for us to be revealed? That they are being sacrificed daily for us?)
Rom 8:20  For the creature was made subject to vanity, not willingly, but by reason of him who hath subjected the same in hope, [The sodomites of the previous verses were created that way, not willingly, but by reason of God, Who, hath subjected them to that life so that we, the elect, can have hope.]
Rom 8:21  Because the creature itself also shall be delivered from the bondage of corruption into the glorious liberty of the children of God. [They shall be delivered just like everyone else and recreated in the lake of fire into children of God. What glory shall be revealed in what they had to suffer for our sakes?]
Rom 8:22  For we know that the whole creation groaneth and travaileth in pain together until now. [They are groaning within themselves in pain to be delivered from what they struggle with and is why they have the highest suicide rate in the world.]
Rom 8:23  And not only they, but ourselves also, which have the firstfruits of the Spirit, even we ourselves groan within ourselves, waiting for the adoption, to wit, the redemption of our body.
Rom 8:24  For we are saved by hope: but hope that is seen is not hope: for what a man seeth, why doth he yet hope for?
Rom 8:25  But if we hope for that we see not, then do we with patience wait for it.

We must walk a narrow path in exposing a false prophet and yet seeing him in ourselves just as much as in the person with the false prophesy. We can in one hand say, "Sodomy is sin" and yet see that same sin in ourselves spiritually. Unless we can see ourselves as a Sodomite inwardly, by doctrines of men with men agreeing to disagree, then we are blinded by false prophecy and cannot see God as creating us all equally and having no reason to judge them as if the sin comes from them. We must call sin as sin but see that what people are is because it is the way God has made them. It is not our job, in this life, to change people and try to convert them. That day will come in the 1000-year reign where all things will be put down with a rod of iron, LITERALLY. They will not be converted in the 1000-year reign, but they will be reigned over with a rod of iron. There will be no Sodomites, no fornicators, and there will be no false prophets. They will be dealt with instantly and put down literally. The wrath of the Lamb is coming and unless we can see ourselves just as defiled as the worst of the worst, we will never be able to stand before the light of Christ when He comes. I am what every human is, was and will be, and unless I see myself as in Adam, IN FULL, in my flesh, capable of committing the most heinous sins, God will not see me IN FULL, in Christ, as the Elect.

Mat 7:12  Therefore all things whatsoever ye would that men should do to you, do ye even so to them: for this is the law and the prophets.
Mat 7:13  Enter ye in at the strait gate: for wide is the gate, and broad is the way, that leadeth to destruction, and many there be which go in thereat:
Mat 7:14  Because strait is the gate, and narrow is the way, which leadeth unto life, and few there be that find it.

These verses are not talking about sins of the flesh but about judgment. How narrow the path is to call sin, sin and yet not become a Pharisee. When we judge others whom God has created to do acts of sin as though those acts are from the person's freewill, we have made ourselves a judge, comparing our good acts as though they come from us to their bad acts as though they come from them. I have made myself God and have exposed myself as an ABOMINATION, committing spiritual sodomy, standing in the holy place of God and saying I am God (Mat 24:15). Do we gather sweet grapes from the thorns of our self-righteous judgment? Did not Saul of Tarsus say, "It is hard for thee to kick against the pricks" (Acts 26:14)?  Do people change when we judge them from a self-righteous judgment? No, they do not; it makes them rebel even more. Do we produce a good fruit from being self-righteous? When we tell people they must muster up the power to repent when it was not their power to sin, does that bring about change or a new creation? No, it does not. Sin must be exposed as sin, and then prayer must be asked from God to be merciful to release us from the sin to which He has bound us.

We cannot be released from bondage, whatever that bondage is, as long as we think we had the power to create it. Give the glory to God, and HE and He alone will recreate us into a new creation. Repentance COMES FROM GOD, NOT MAN. Changing what I am is a change that can only come from God as Creator and is why I groan within myself, waiting for the revealing of the son of God in me. I groan because I see what I am in the flesh and see what bondage in which I was created. I desire daily to be released from sin and from this body of death; I groan within myself.

Rom 7:17  Now then it is no more I that do it, but sin that dwelleth in me [Created in me by God].
Rom 7:18  For I know that in me (that is, in my flesh,) dwelleth no good thing: for to will is present with me; but how to perform that which is good I find not.

Rom 8:23  And not only they, but ourselves also, which have the firstfruits of the Spirit, even we ourselves groan within ourselves, waiting for the adoption, to wit, the redemption of our body.

We must walk a narrow path in this world. We do not need worry about what the world is doing, but we need to take care of the body of Christ and what happens in this body. We will deal with the world when that age comes, but until then we must study to shew ourselves approved by seeing that we are what we are by the grace of God and for no other reason.

2Ti 2:15  Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.

1Co 15:10  But by the grace of God I am what I am: and his grace which was bestowed upon me was not in vain; but I laboured more abundantly than they all: yet not I, but the grace of God which was with me.

When false prophets come to us, and they will, we must see that they are sent by God to try us and to form us into the image of Christ.

Deu 13:3  Thou shalt not hearken unto the words of that prophet, or that dreamer of dreams: for the LORD your God proveth you, to know whether ye love the LORD your God with all your heart and with all your soul.

1Co 11:19  For there must be also heresies among you, that they which are approved may be made manifest among you.

We must deal with the false prophecy with swiftness and authority, knowing it was sent from God for our learning. The vessel that was used to bring it is just that, a vessel of dishonor, to show us, the vessels of honor, the riches of His glory He has bestowed on us. To Him be glory for all things that come our way.

Rom 9:22  What if God, willing to shew his wrath, and to make his power known, endured with much longsuffering the vessels of wrath fitted to destruction:
Rom 9:23  And that he might make known the riches of his glory on the vessels of mercy, which he had afore prepared unto glory,

We have discussed the false prophet and dreamer of dreams that have been sent from God to try us. Then we discussed how that leads us into spiritual sodomy. From there we discussed judgment of the manifestation of sins in the flesh which are an indicator of changing the glory of God into an lie. Finally, we touched briefly on repentance of sin, and next week we will discuss, "What is repentance?" When we are commanded to repent, from what are we repenting?
