Suffering with the Birth of the Man Child

In this study we will continue with more that identifies the suffering with the birth of the Man child into the world. In Romans 8 it speaks of this:

Rom 8:15  For ye have not received the spirit of bondage again to fear; but ye have received the Spirit of adoption, whereby we cry, Abba, Father.
Rom 8:16  The Spirit itself beareth witness with our spirit, that we are the children of God:
Rom 8:17  And if children, then heirs; heirs of God, and joint-heirs with Christ; if so be that we suffer with him, that we may be also glorified together.

What is the inheritance? Our inheritance is to be one with the Head, Christ, and then rule the world for a thousand years;

Rev 12:1  And there appeared a great wonder in heaven; a woman clothed with the sun, and the moon under her feet, and upon her head a crown of twelve stars:
Rev 12:2  And she being with child cried, travailing in birth, and pained to be delivered.
Rev 12:3  And there appeared another wonder in heaven; and behold a great red dragon, having seven heads and ten horns, and seven crowns upon his heads.
Rev 12:4  And his tail drew the third part of the stars of heaven, and did cast them to the earth: and the dragon stood before the woman which was ready to be delivered, for to devour her child as soon as it was born.

What does standing before the woman to devour her child represent? It pictures killing our hope, dashing our hopes to pieces with doubt and confusion. If we are convinced that our trials come because of something “WE” did wrong, then we have no hope that the Man Child will be birthed. We look to the flesh for support and for works to justify ourselves. However, God has given us the Spirit of Christ which allows us to hope in Him, that when the trials come, because they are birth pains of God, we hope in Christ for deliverance and not in ourselves.

Rom 8:24  For we are saved by hope: but hope that is seen is not hope: for what a man seeth, why doth he yet hope for?
Rom 8:25  But if we hope for that we see not, then do we with patience wait for it.
Rom 8:26  Likewise the Spirit also helpeth our infirmities: for we know not what we should pray for as we ought: but the Spirit itself maketh intercession for us with groanings which cannot be uttered.
Rom 8:27  And he that searcheth the hearts knoweth what is the mind of the Spirit, because he maketh intercession for the saints according to the will of God.
Rom 8:28  And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose.
Rom 8:29  For whom he did foreknow, he also did predestinate to be conformed to the image of his Son, that he might be the firstborn among many brethren [the man child].
Rom 8:30  Moreover whom he did predestinate, them he also called: and whom he called, them he also justified: and whom he justified, them he also glorified.

Every day this takes place a little at a time. All the while the belly gets bigger and bigger, the pains get worse, the suffering gets more intense until the man child is delivered.

Rev 12:5  And she brought forth a man child, who was to rule all nations with a rod of iron: and her child was caught up unto God, and to his throne.
Rev 12:6  And the woman fled into the wilderness, where she hath a place prepared of God, that they should feed her there a thousand two hundred and threescore days.

She flees into the wilderness, a place of testing, just as the 40 years in the wilderness by the literal Israelites – suffering, being tried, being made conformable unto death. Her child is caught up to God and to His throne. This means we are sitting in Christ, the HEAD of the body of the man child. We are one with Him. The suffering of the pregnancy is an everyday suffering until Christ is LITERALLY AND ORDINALLY revealed from heaven and we along with Him. This suffering is going on all over the world as we speak, but the world does not know what it means. We naturally attribute it to man himself or global warming or too much of this or that; all things to take our eyes off the truth. Christ’s wife is getting ready to have a man child (US!), and the world is suffering right along with us. However, they don’t know why, they don’t see and cannot see that the sufferings are the birth pains of the church, the pains of delivering the King of kings and LORD of lords.

Rom 8:18  For I reckon that the sufferings of this present time are not worthy to be compared with the glory which shall be revealed in us.
Rom 8:19  For the earnest expectation of the creature waiteth for the manifestation of the sons of God.
Rom 8:20  For the creature was made subject to vanity, not willingly, but by reason of him who hath subjected the same in hope,
Rom 8:21  Because the creature itself also shall be delivered from the bondage of corruption into the glorious liberty of the children of God.
Rom 8:22  For we know that the whole creation groaneth and travaileth in pain together until now.
Rom 8:23  And not only they, but ourselves also, which have the firstfruits of the Spirit, even we ourselves groan within ourselves, waiting for the adoption, to wit, the redemption of our body.

The redemption of our body is when the man child is birthed LITERALLY just as when Rebecca was about to give birth to Jacob and Esau. The world is struggling, suffering to be delivered from all the pain, but it is trying to do it by the law of the flesh and not the Spirit.

Gen 25:22  And the children struggled together within her; and she said, If it be so, why am I thus? And she went to enquire of the LORD.
Gen 25:23  And the LORD said unto her, Two nations are in thy womb, and two manner of people shall be separated from thy bowels; and the one people shall be stronger than the other people; and the elder shall serve the younger.
Gen 25:24  And when her days to be delivered were fulfilled, behold, there were twins in her womb.
Gen 25:25  And the first came out red, all over like an hairy garment; and they called his name Esau.
Gen 25:26  And after that came his brother out, and his hand took hold on Esau’s heel; and his name was called Jacob: and Isaac was threescore years old when she bare them.
Gen 25:27  And the boys grew: and Esau was a cunning hunter, a man of the field; and Jacob was a plain man, dwelling in tents.
Gen 25:28  And Isaac loved Esau, because he did eat of his venison: but Rebekah loved Jacob.

We are suffering in the flesh now as children getting ready to be delivered from this corruptible body of flesh. The sufferings we are enduring, like some in the body, are sufferings to point us to the end goal, to look for our redemption, to look for our change into THE MAN CHILD. If we see change now and then, why do we need Him to return? If the world can fix all its own problems by doctors and laws and whatever makes the world better, then why do we need Him to return? But we cannot see change in the world. The suffering continues, men get worse and worse, there is more evil, to the point that we pass laws to kill the baby now, no matter what the stage, at conception with the day after pill or on the operating table after the baby’s born. It is all an allegory of the times in which we live in, and the day is drawing closer for the birth of the man child, who will be caught up to God before Satan can abort Him. We have a hope that is unique to us. We have the hope of being that man child. We ARE THE ELECT, WE ARE THE CHOSEN, and with honor we should know who we are and how special we are to Christ, our Father.

Rom 9:10  And not only this; but when Rebecca also had conceived by one, even by our father Isaac;
Rom 9:11  (For the children being not yet born, neither having done any good or evil, that the purpose of God according to election might stand, not of works, but of him that calleth;)
Rom 9:12  It was said unto her, The elder shall serve the younger.
Rom 9:13  As it is written, Jacob have I loved, but Esau have I hated.
Rom 9:14  What shall we say then? Is there unrighteousness with God? God forbid.
Rom 9:15  For he saith to Moses, I will have mercy on whom I will have mercy, and I will have compassion on whom I will have compassion.
Rom 9:16  So then it is not of him that willeth, nor of him that runneth, but of God that sheweth mercy.

We have been shown mercy to see what we now see. The physical pains we are going through, the physical sufferings, should point us to hope in the redemption of our bodies and the delivery of the MAN CHILD. Hope that is not seen is hope. What the world calls global warming is really them feeling what is coming, the fire of God’s word that will burn up all the world sees as good.

One thing also we should consider regarding suffering is mental suffering and the torments we suffer from Satan about sin. This is just as much a sickness as those who suffer physical sickness, I know for that is what I suffer with the most. I do have some physical sicknesses, pains, but these are from working and getting older. The internal suffering I have gone through and do go through is sometimes totally debilitating. Satan has been sent many times to buffet me, to prove me with thoughts of past sins and of sin in my mind. It is a war in my heavens that is as real as the physical pain others suffer. This is why I drank to excess, to calm the suffering, to make it go away. Thank God in Christ that He has gives me the victory, even on bad days. In the end I have a confidence that no matter what comes my way, nothing can separate me from the love of God in Christ Jesus. Before the world began we were predestined to be in Christ, and all that we suffer, whether inwardly or outwardly, is happening so we can be formed more into the image of Christ. I realized I would be leaving out a large portion of the body if I only spoke of physical ailments and did not include the inward.

Rom 8:31  What shall we then say to these things? If God be for us, who can be against us?
Rom 8:32  He that spared not his own Son, but delivered him up for us all, how shall he not with him also freely give us all things?
Rom 8:33  Who shall lay any thing to the charge of God’s elect? It is God that justifieth.
Rom 8:34  Who is he that condemneth? It is Christ that died, yea rather, that is risen again, who is even at the right hand of God, who also maketh intercession for us.
Rom 8:35  Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? shall tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or peril, or sword?
Rom 8:36  As it is written, For thy sake we are killed all the day long; we are accounted as sheep for the slaughter.
Rom 8:37  Nay, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him that loved us.
Rom 8:38  For I am persuaded, that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor powers, nor things present, nor things to come,
Rom 8:39  Nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature, shall be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.

Eph 1:3  Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who hath blessed us with all spiritual blessings in heavenly places in Christ:
Eph 1:4  According as he hath chosen us in him before the foundation of the world, that we should be holy and without blame before him in love:
Eph 1:5  Having predestinated us unto the adoption of children by Jesus Christ to himself, according to the good pleasure of his will,

It is the pleasure of His will that I suffer the way I do to form me daily into the image of Christ. These verses are the verses which help me get through the day. They are the words of Christ, the manna, I eat daily to keep my mind’s eye on Christ and not on myself. When I am being buffeted and harassed by Satan, who is sent for my good, I go over this verse also.

2Co 10:3  For though we walk in the flesh, we do not war after the flesh:
2Co 10:4  (For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal, but mighty through God to the pulling down of strong holds;)
2Co 10:5  Casting down imaginations, and every high thing that exalteth itself against the knowledge of God, and bringing into captivity every thought to the obedience of Christ;
2Co 10:6  And having in a readiness to revenge all disobedience, when your obedience is fulfilled.

When I look down on others, the enemy is sent to show me that I am no better than they are by showing me my own sin. My mind starts to wonder and my inner man begins to suffer. It is then I am reminded of the above verses I go over in my heavens, and I pick each word apart, slowly savoring each word as if I am eating a perfectly cooked steak. I say, “Yes, I am in the flesh, but I am not battling by the flesh, because my flesh cannot fight these attacks. The weapons of my warfare are not carnal, I do not have the strength to fight against my man of sin. My weapons are the truth, the mighty truth, that before the foundation of the world, God created me in Christ, holy and without blame. This stronghold that I am being reminded of is an attempt to make me stumble into sin or try to make up for past sins. I cast this thought down from my heavens, for there is no place found for it any more in my heavens. Satan and his angels are cast out. These thoughts are exalting against this knowledge of truth that nothing can separate me from the love of God in Christ. This is the weapon of my warfare, and I have a readiness to AVENGE all disobedient thoughts that exalt themselves against the knowledge of this truth.”

I just wanted to take the time to add this short thread for all those who are suffering internally with an ailment that is naked to the natural eye. This is a ailment we must acknowledge lest the enemy try to convince us that some are true sufferers and my internal suffer is different. It is a lie from the bottomless pit. Internal suffering is just as painful.

Christ allows Satan to buffet us, so that we do not trust in ourselves but in Him. It is all for the purpose of exalting Christ and crushing all hope in the flesh.

Luk 22:31  And the Lord said, Simon, Simon, behold, Satan hath desired to have you, that he may sift you as wheat:
Luk 22:32  But I have prayed for thee, that thy faith fail not: and when thou art converted, strengthen thy brethren.

Christ gives Satan the green light to sift us as wheat so that when we are strengthened by the fact that we can trust in Christ, we can take that hope in Christ and strengthen each other.
