Deu 7:2  And when the LORD thy God shall deliver them before thee; thou shalt smite them, and utterly destroy them; thou shalt make no covenant with them, nor shew mercy unto them:

This verse is very important for our lives as spiritual Israel. This verse is a commandment from God just as much as one of the 10 commandments, because this commandment inwardly will be a frontlet between our spiritual eyes the whole time we live in this fleshly body.

Deu 6:8  And thou shalt bind them for a sign upon thine hand, and they shall be as frontlets between thine eyes.

For the rest of our natural lives we will live fighting these nations and running them out of our land. It depends on what part of the spiritual land we have inherited on which nation we battle the most. For some of us it will be the The Amorite spirit where we peddle the word as merchandise, for others it will be the Hitites that prostrate themselves before false doctrines. Whatever the case, we will fight each and every one of these spirits, because we have them living in our land. It just depends on what spirit troubles us the most. The last nation we covered was the Jebusites, and I found a verse after that study which leads us into this study.

Jdg 1:21  And the children of Benjamin did not drive out the Jebusites that inhabited Jerusalem; but the Jebusites dwell with the children of Benjamin in Jerusalem unto this day.

The tribe of Benjamin never finished running the Jebusites out of their land and allowed the Jebusites to dwell with them. What does that tell us, and what are we to learn from this statement? They made peace with them which was a fatal mistake. We are NEVER to make peace with our enemies inside us. We are never to stop killing them as they raise their heads. We have just taken seven weeks to describe who these nations are, and in one sentence we have described the whole of them;

"To prostrate man before man, before clayey soil by publicly peddling Babylon's doctrines of humiliation in open shame."

We are to war against all prostrating of man before man or falling down in any way prostrate before man and worshiping flesh as though flesh had something in itself that honors God.

Rev 19:10  And I fell at his feet to worship him. And he said unto me, See thou do it not: I am thy fellowservant, and of thy brethren that have the testimony of Jesus: worship God: for the testimony of Jesus is the spirit of prophecy.

Eze 16:1  Again the word of the LORD came unto me, saying,
Eze 16:2  Son of man, cause Jerusalem to know her abominations,
Eze 16:3  And say, Thus saith the Lord GOD unto Jerusalem; Thy birth and thy nativity is of the land of Canaan; thy father was an Amorite, and thy mother an Hittite.
Eze 16:4  And as for thy nativity, in the day thou wast born thy navel was not cut, neither wast thou washed in water to supple thee; thou wast not salted at all, nor swaddled at all.

When we are born again from above, we come out still feeding from Babylon, covered in the blood of Christ, not washed in the word nor salted by the Spirit, and we are not covered in the swaddling clothes of Christ. This is our beginning and equivalency to coming out of Egypt and entering into the promised land. Every time a doctrine of Babylon is defeated, a nation is defeated. But as in all battles, it is not done in a single one-time act. It takes time to kill every soldier in that nation, one at a time, whatever nation we are fighting. These doctrines are so intertwined that once you kill one doctrine, it's connected another one. For example, the false doctrine of the trinity which is the main vine that spreads out to other false doctrines saying there is not One God, but three.  It then leads to water baptisms where the Catholics changed the wording of scripture to fit their doctrine in Matthew 28:19 from Jesus to Father, Son, and Holy ghost. This short excerpt was taken from Brother Mike's study called "is God a Trinity", with link here.

“The baptismal formula was changed from the name of Jesus Christ to the words Father, Son, and Holy Spirit by the Catholica Church in the second century.”

The point being, each false doctrine leads to another false doctrine to another false doctrine until we have a beast created that has seven heads and ten horns which is being ruled by the great Whore of all nations, Babylon. This is why we are to never make peace with the flesh when it comes to false doctrine. Like a dog chained to a steak or Satan chained to the bottomless pit, this what we are to do with false doctrine when they are revealed to us.

Rev 20:1  And I saw an angel come down from heaven, having the key of the bottomless pit and a great chain in his hand.
Rev 20:2  And he laid hold on the dragon, that old serpent, which is the Devil, and Satan, and bound him a thousand years,
Rev 20:3  And cast him into the bottomless pit, and shut him up, and set a seal upon him, that he should deceive the nations no more, till the thousand years should be fulfilled: and after that he must be loosed a little season.

That thousand years is symbolic and is the calculation of the process of judgment on the nations of our carnal mind as 10x10x10=1000 revealed in Revelation 2:10.

Rev 2:10  Fear none of those things which thou shalt suffer: behold, the devil shall cast some of you (some of me-portion of me internally-not all of me) into prison, that ye may be tried; and ye shall have tribulation ten days: be thou faithful unto death, and I will give thee a crown of life.
Rev 2:11  He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the churches; He that overcometh shall not be hurt of the second death.

When we are tried, we are tried a portion at a time, 'some of me'. Parts of our life are thrown into prison, and we must die to that part. When it says "the devil shall cast some of you into prison", it is speaking of parts of us internally. It is for the purpose of seeing ourself as powerless and relying on Christ for the deliverance. He is the One who delivers the nations to me to kill. I don't deliver them to myself; He does.  Do we see the death of the flesh's carnal mind and carnal doctrines as these seven nations that are seven heads on the beast? If we do, then we realize that all that we ever knew was a lie wrapped in carnal truth. All we ever thought or understood about life, from a man's point of view, was a lie. The way we interacted with other men, the way we interacted with women, the way we saw life, all of it was a lie; a doctrine of one of these nations in our land. But, when The Truth comes, the Enemy of my lie, I hide from Him because I know that Light exposes my darkness.

Rev 6:15  And the kings of the earth, and the great men, and the rich men, and the chief captains, and the mighty men, and every bondman, and every free man, hid themselves in the dens and in the rocks of the mountains;
Rev 6:16  And said to the mountains and rocks, Fall on us, and hide us from the face of him that sitteth on the throne, and from the wrath of the Lamb:
Rev 6:17  For the great day of his wrath is come; and who shall be able to stand?

Joh 1:5  And the light shineth in darkness; and the darkness comprehended it not.

The key to the defeating of the nations is knowing how the battle is fought and won. The beginning of this verse tells us Who delivers them to us and what we are to do when they are delivered to us.

"And when the LORD thy God shall deliver them before thee; thou shalt smite them, and utterly destroy them..."

When The LORD "delivers" them to us [these nations within us] to "utterly" destroy them, He is "giving" them to us by exposing the nakedness of their sin.

Gen 3:10  And he said, I heard thy voice in the garden, and I was afraid, because I was naked; and I hid myself.
Gen 3:11  And he said, Who told thee that thou wast naked? Hast thou eaten of the tree, whereof I commanded thee that thou shouldest not eat?

This exposing is showing us how a particular doctrine is sin. Sin in doctrine does not appear as sin, but as light. It does not appear as the unclean spirit it is, but as a clean spirit. When the truth comes, it seems as an unclean spirit to us.

2Co 11:13  For such are false apostles, deceitful workers, transforming themselves into the apostles of Christ.
2Co 11:14  And no marvel; for Satan himself is transformed into an angel of light.
2Co 11:15  Therefore it is no great thing if his ministers also be transformed as the ministers of righteousness; whose end shall be according to their works.

Satan's ministers are false doctrines. False doctrine appears as a good thing, as a light that will allow us to worship God. As with all false doctrine however, it is a way that will lead to bondage. The Light of Christ shines light on the false doctrine and exposes it. We were recently told that all things are ours literally, that we must live out every word, literally, that we must, as the elect, go through the lake of fire like all of humanity, that we are not priests and kings, and that we are not chosen from the rest of humanity. This false doctrine started off that way, then turned to "all things are spiritual", there is no literal 1000 year reign at all. This false doctrine which had been covered by what seemed as an angel of light was exposed as an angel of Satan. By denying the literal ordinal symbolic 1000 years, this doctrine has denied the rulership of Christ in His elect. It has denied the purpose of bringing all flesh to a close in the process of judgment by the elect (10x10x10=1000). Our scripture today uses the word "Before". God shall deliver the nations, false doctrines "before" us. This word is "paw-neem'" H6440, and the root of this word is H6437 "paw-naw'" which means;

A primitive root; to turn; by implication to face, that is, appear, look, etc.: - appear, at [even-] tide, behold, cast out, come on, X corner, dawning, empty, go away, lie, look, mark, pass away, prepare, regard, (have) respect (to), (re-) turn (aside, away, back, face, self), X right [early].

When God exposes false doctrine, He shows us the face of it, what it really means. It is as a dawning of the light that exposes the true meaning of the doctrine. As with all false doctrine, the core of its focus is on the individual as the center of attention, "You shall be as gods."

Gen 3:5  For God doth know that in the day ye eat thereof, then your eyes shall be opened, and ye shall be as gods, knowing good and evil.

All of the seven nations we have studied have the man as the center of attention and gives all glory to the man in a twisted lie of truth. So we are being told here in this one verse , never to make a covenant with a lie. Once a lie is exposed for what it is, we must put it to death and have no pity on it.

Deu 7:16  And thou shalt consume all the people which the LORD thy God shall deliver thee; thine eye shall have no pity upon them: neither shalt thou serve their gods; for that will be a snare unto thee.

We can have pity on the individual as being deceived by a doctrine because we ourselves have been deceived. However, we are not to have pity on the false doctrine and allow it to live. Seeing someone in bondage to a lie and having pity on them is one thing, but allowing them to bring that lie to us and suffering it is another thing. We cannot allow false doctrine to creep in and live among us as though it is of us.

1Jn 2:19  They went out from us, but they were not of us; for if they had been of us, they would no doubt have continued with us: but they went out, that they might be made manifest that they were not all of us.

2Ti 3:4  Traitors, heady, highminded, lovers of pleasures more than lovers of God;
2Ti 3:5  Having a form of godliness, but denying the power thereof: from such turn away.
2Ti 3:6  For of this sort are they which creep into houses, and lead captive silly women laden with sins, led away with divers lusts,
2Ti 3:7  Ever learning, and never able to come to the knowledge of the truth.

Our house is our temple, and our temple cannot be shared with devils.

1Co 10:20  But I say, that the things which the Gentiles sacrifice, they sacrifice to devils, and not to God: and I would not that ye should have fellowship with devils.
1Co 10:21  Ye cannot drink the cup of the Lord, and the cup of devils: ye cannot be partakers of the Lord's table, and of the table of devils.

So it is up to us to be diligent in exposing false doctrine by running them out of our temple without mercy.

Mat 21:12  And Jesus went into the temple of God, and cast out all them that sold and bought in the temple, and overthrew the tables of the moneychangers, and the seats of them that sold doves,

He casts out all that buys and sells in our temple by overthrowing the doctrines that sold our sacrifices as sacrifices to God, other than the sacrifice of Christ.

Rev 13:17  And that no man might buy or sell, save he that had the mark, or the name of the beast, or the number of his name.

Mat 21:13  And said unto them, It is written, My house shall be called the house of prayer; but ye have made it a den of thieves.

Our temple is where we are to talk to God. Our temple, our holy place, is Jesus Christ. He is The Sacrifice, and there is no other sacrifice that can be offered. When we do not drive out the false doctrine, die to self, we are exchanging spiritual gold with fleshly gold. We are attempting to buy the Truth with fleshly acts and thereby become thieves, stealing from Christ the honor of being the only sacrifice which is worthy to enter the holy of holies. Christ is the only true gold which has been found acceptable to God the Father. This verse is telling us to kill all doctrine that does not have Christ as the only Truth and the only way to redemption. Christ has gone to great length to expose the seven nations and the seven heads of the beast for the purpose of us seeing false doctrine and to show us that once it is exposed, it must be killed. We cannot make peace with any false doctrine and mix it with the Truth of Christ. Iron and clay does not mix.

Dan 2:33  His legs of iron, his feet part of iron and part of clay.
Dan 2:34  Thou sawest till that a stone was cut out without hands, which smote the image upon his feet that were of iron and clay, and brake them to pieces.
Dan 2:35  Then was the iron, the clay, the brass, the silver, and the gold, broken to pieces together, and became like the chaff of the summer threshingfloors; and the wind carried them away, that no place was found for them: and the stone that smote the image became a great mountain, and filled the whole earth.

When a covenant is made, it is made between two. There must two nations, two people, two of something who make a covenant. Christ has promised us, or made a covenant with us, that all righteousness which is required for us to enter the kingdom of God, He will give us through Himself. We are not to make a covenant with the flesh and try to obtain that righteousness by doctrines of the flesh. This covenant between God and the Elect are just that; between God and the Elect. We cannot take from the doctrines of Babylon and try to make peace with God. God made a covenant with Abram in Genesis 13:14-18, promising him all the land of the promised land and that his seed would be as the dust of the earth in number. Then in chapter 14 Abram rescues Lot from Chedorlaomer and is presented with all the goods that were left over from the battle. But Abram refused these goods and said;

Gen 14:22  And Abram said to the king of Sodom, I have lift up mine hand unto the LORD, the most high God, the possessor of heaven and earth,
Gen 14:23  That I will not take from a thread even to a shoelatchet, and that I will not take any thing that is thine, lest thou shouldest say, I have made Abram rich:
Gen 14:24  Save only that which the young men have eaten, and the portion of the men which went with me, Aner, Eshcol, and Mamre; let them take their portion.

He would not make a covenant with the king of Sodom. We are to see the king of Sodom, in the negative, as the king of Babylon. We cannot obtain peace through the gifts of the king of Sodom. We cannot make a covenant with him. Then in chapter 15 we read about the establishment of the covenant between God and Abram.

Gen 15:5  And he brought him forth abroad, and said, Look now toward heaven, and tell the stars, if thou be able to number them: and he said unto him, So shall thy seed be.
Gen 15:6  And he believed in the LORD; and he counted it to him for righteousness.
Gen 15:7  And he said unto him, I am the LORD that brought thee out of Ur of the Chaldees, to give thee this land to inherit it. (Ur=fire-rooted from H217 and Chaldees = astrologers=H3778, He brings us out of the fire of Babylon- Jude 1:23, pulling us from the fire)
Gen 15:8  And he said, Lord GOD, whereby shall I know that I shall inherit it?
Gen 15:9  And he said unto him, Take me an heifer of three years old, and a she goat of three years old, and a ram of three years old, and a turtledove, and a young pigeon.
Gen 15:10  And he took unto him all these, and divided them in the midst, and laid each piece one against another: but the birds divided he not.
Gen 15:11  And when the fowls came down upon the carcases, Abram drove them away.
Gen 15:12  And when the sun was going down, a deep sleep fell upon Abram; and, lo, an horror of great darkness fell upon him.
Gen 15:13  And he said unto Abram, Know of a surety that thy seed shall be a stranger in a land that is not theirs (in bondage to the fleshly doctrines of Babylon), and shall serve them; and they shall afflict them four hundred years;
Gen 15:14  And also that nation, whom they shall serve, will I judge: and afterward shall they come out with great substance.
Gen 15:15  And thou shalt go to thy fathers in peace; thou shalt be buried in a good old age.
Gen 15:16  But in the fourth generation they shall come hither again (after they are whole they shall come to the promise land): for the iniquity of the Amorites is not yet full.
Gen 15:17  And it came to pass, that, when the sun went down, and it was dark, behold a smoking furnace, and a burning lamp that passed between those pieces.
Gen 15:18  In the same day the LORD made a covenant with Abram, saying, Unto thy seed have I given this land, from the river of Egypt unto the great river, the river Euphrates:
Gen 15:19  The Kenites, and the Kenizzites, and the Kadmonites,
Gen 15:20  And the Hittites, and the Perizzites, and the Rephaims,
Gen 15:21  And the Amorites, and the Canaanites, and the Girgashites, and the Jebusites.

Our verse today started off with, "Thou shall not make a covenant with them." The "them" are the doctrines of the seven nations which are in us, and they represent, together, the completion of Babylon. We cannot take anything from them and marry it with what we have received from the LORD. We cannot make a covenant of peace with anyone who does not bring the doctrines of Christ. God called us out of the land of the fire of Babylon (Ur of the Chaldees), and would not allow us to make a covenant with the king of Babylon. He has promised us that we are that Seed of Christ; that we, the Elect, will obtain all which He promised to Abraham. All the 'land' of my earth will be an inheritance to me, and I shall reign over it with a rod of iron. Because I am a member of the promised Seed, the child that will rule all nations in me with a rod of iron, and ruling them with a rod of iron means we do not make peace with them. We do not bow to man,the clayey soil, as God, we do not pollute the body by publicly peddling Babylonian doctrines, and we do not with open shame humiliate the body of Christ for gain. May God keep us from ever bowing to any doctrine that does not exalt Christ as King and 'the Christ' as His rod of iron. We have been covenanted together with Christ, we cannot eat the sacrifices of devils, the doctrines of Babylon.

Next week, LORD willing, we will cover the following verses;

Deu 7:3  Neither shalt thou make marriages with them; thy daughter thou shalt not give unto his son, nor his daughter shalt thou take unto thy son.
Deu 7:4  For they will turn away thy son from following me, that they may serve other gods: so will the anger of the LORD be kindled against you, and destroy thee suddenly.
