Deu 5:22  These words the LORD spake unto all your assembly in the mount out of the midst of the fire, of the cloud, and of the thick darkness, with a great voice: and he added no more. And he wrote them in two tables of stone, and delivered them unto me.

This set of verses starts right after the reading of the ten commandments. These verses start with the words, "These words the LORD spake unto all assembly in the mount." The people were not in the mount but under it, at the base of it, while Moses went up into it. But what this represents is the fact that the flesh is outside of the commandments. It cannot keep them. The people simply feared the fact that the words were even spoken to them. The words were spoken outwardly to them, and they never did nor could they receive them inwardly. This inward application of the words being spoken to us is in Revelation 8 at the second trump. So we will go to a study by Brother Mike to learn what that means inwardly before we proceed to the rest of the following scriptures.

I was going to just try to use some excerpts from this study, but after reading it, I felt it would be better to cover the whole study so that we lay a good foundation for the next set of verses in next week's study.

Remember in the last few weeks we have been learning how the literal commandments are applied inwardly and that they all revolve around our Creator Jesus Christ, Who is the Mountain of God.  So here is the study by Brother Mike;

I wanted to lay this foundation so that next week, LORD willing, we will cover what the rest of the verses in Deuteronomy 5:23-33 actually mean inwardly and how they are applied.
