Deu 18:9-14 Don’t Learn to do the Abominations of Those Nations

[Study Aired September 4, 2020]

Deu 18:9  When thou art come into the land which the LORD thy God giveth thee, thou shalt not learn to do after the abominations of those nations.
Deu 18:10  There shall not be found among you any one that maketh his son or his daughter to pass through the fire, or that useth divination, or an observer of times, or an enchanter, or a witch,
Deu 18:11  Or a charmer, or a consulter with familiar spirits, or a wizard, or a necromancer.
Deu 18:12  For all that do these things are an abomination unto the LORD: and because of these abominations the LORD thy God doth drive them out from before thee.
Deu 18:13  Thou shalt be perfect with the LORD thy God.
Deu 18:14  For these nations, which thou shalt possess, hearkened unto observers of times, and unto diviners: but as for thee, the LORD thy God hath not suffered thee so to do.

Let’s first establish that the land that we are inheriting is the kingdom of God. That kingdom has been taken by force by the spiritual wickedness on high in our minds. In other words, what we see in the natural as being religious is really the spiritual wickedness that has led us to worship ourselves. Whatever religious understanding we had before our eyes were opened to the truth was from the evil one.

Mat 11:7  And as they departed, Jesus began to say unto the multitudes concerning John, What went ye out into the wilderness to see? A reed shaken with the wind?
Mat 11:8  But what went ye out for to see? A man clothed in soft raiment? behold, they that wear soft clothing are in kings’ houses.
Mat 11:9  But what went ye out for to see? A prophet? yea, I say unto you, and more than a prophet.
Mat 11:10  For this is he, of whom it is written, Behold, I send my messenger before thy face, which shall prepare thy way before thee.
Mat 11:11  Verily I say unto you, Among them that are born of women there hath not risen a greater than John the Baptist: notwithstanding he that is least in the kingdom of heaven is greater than he.
Mat 11:12  And from the days of John the Baptist until now the kingdom of heaven suffereth violence, and the violent take it by force.
Mat 11:13  For all the prophets and the law prophesied until John.
Mat 11:14  And if ye will receive it, this is Elias, which was for to come.
Mat 11:15  He that hath ears to hear, let him hear.

Eph 6:12  For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places.

The kingdom of God is taken by violence because people will fight to the death for their own idea of Who God is and what the kingdom of God is. The truth has been violently taken and now resembles the image of a man, because Satan has been given rule over this world to hide the truth in a lie. That lie is whatever abomination the people of this earth have been led to believe through the spiritual wickedness that has inhabited their (and our) hearts and minds. We have all been taken by a lie and all live our lives in abominable practices witnessing to what we are in truth, an abomination. The truth is coming, the truth is like leaven that when the bread dough gets warm the leaven causes the bread to rise. The truth is rising in the land we are promised to obtain.

Mat 13:33  Another parable spake he unto them; The kingdom of heaven is like unto leaven, which a woman took, and hid in three measures of meal, till the whole was leavened.

The process of leaven is in the aorist tense. It is here now causing the bread to rise and will cause the bread to rise. While it lay unheated in the bread you don’t know it’s there, but once the warmth begins it causes the truth to rise, and the whole is leavened. Christ was the first to see Satan fall from His heaven when tempted in the wilderness. He was given to see the abomination that causes the desolation of God upon mankind.

Luk 10:18  And he said unto them, I beheld Satan as lightning fall from heaven.

Mat 4:1  Then was Jesus led up of the Spirit into the wilderness to be tempted of the devil.
Mat 4:2  And when he had fasted forty days and forty nights, he was afterward an hungred.
Mat 4:3  And when the tempter came to him, he said, If thou be the Son of God, command that these stones be made bread.
Mat 4:4  But he answered and said, It is written, Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceedeth out of the mouth of God.
Mat 4:5  Then the devil taketh him up into the holy city, and setteth him on a pinnacle of the temple,
Mat 4:6  And saith unto him, If thou be the Son of God, cast thyself down: for it is written, He shall give his angels charge concerning thee: and in their hands they shall bear thee up, lest at any time thou dash thy foot against a stone.
Mat 4:7  Jesus said unto him, It is written again, Thou shalt not tempt the Lord thy God.
Mat 4:8  Again, the devil taketh him up into an exceeding high mountain, and sheweth him all the kingdoms of the world, and the glory of them;
Mat 4:9  And saith unto him, All these things will I give thee, if thou wilt fall down and worship me.
Mat 4:10  Then saith Jesus unto him, Get thee hence, Satan: for it is written, Thou shalt worship the Lord thy God, and him only shalt thou serve.
Mat 4:11  Then the devil leaveth him, and, behold, angels came and ministered unto him.

Satan’s falling from heaven was exposed by Christ and is the first time we are given to see that what Satan was given to do was to take the kingdom of God, the truth, by force. However, that falling was not when Christ saw him. That falling to mankind began in the garden of Eden. The abomination of self-righteousness fell into the hearts and minds of Adam and Eve in the garden, where everything was perfect to them.

Gen 3:14  And the LORD God said unto the serpent, Because thou hast done this, thou art cursed above all cattle, and above every beast of the field; upon thy belly shalt thou go, and dust shalt thou eat all the days of thy life:
Gen 3:15  And I will put enmity between thee and the woman, and between thy seed and her seed; it shall bruise thy head, and thou shalt bruise his heel.

Now the reverse is happening. The kingdom is being taken back by force. The force of truth is marching through our hearts and minds and recreating us into the image of Christ.

Rev 18:21  And a mighty angel took up a stone like a great millstone, and cast it into the sea, saying, Thus with violence shall that great city Babylon be thrown down, and shall be found no more at all.
Rev 18:22  And the voice of harpers, and musicians, and of pipers, and trumpeters, shall be heard no more at all in thee; and no craftsman, of whatsoever craft he be, shall be found any more in thee; and the sound of a millstone shall be heard no more at all in thee;
Rev 18:23  And the light of a candle shall shine no more at all in thee; and the voice of the bridegroom and of the bride shall be heard no more at all in thee: for thy merchants were the great men of the earth; for by thy sorceries were all nations deceived.
Rev 18:24  And in her was found the blood of prophets, and of saints, and of all that were slain upon the earth.

The truth has overcome, is overcoming and will overcome all that the doctrine of Babylon have spread throughout our promised land. The lie that we are our own gods independent and separate from the One and only God will be thrown down and destroyed.

Rev 18:21  And a mighty angel took up a stone like a great millstone, and cast it into the sea, saying, Thus with violence shall that great city Babylon be thrown down, and shall be found no more at all.

The lie that we are born with a free will is being destroyed daily in the hearts and minds of the elect. We are crossing the Jordan, we are destroying Jericho, we are killing giants, we are capturing kingdoms, and we are doing it by the power of the truth.

2Co 10:3  For though we walk in the flesh, we do not war after the flesh:
2Co 10:4  (For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal, but mighty through God to the pulling down of strong holds;)
2Co 10:5  Casting down imaginations, and every high thing that exalteth itself against the knowledge of God, and bringing into captivity every thought to the obedience of Christ;
2Co 10:6  And having in a readiness to revenge all disobedience, when your obedience is fulfilled.

That truth is, that Jesus Christ has come into our hearts and minds. Jesus Christ is, was and will be creating all things, and by Him all things consist.

Col 1:15  Who is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn of every creature:
Col 1:16  For by him were all things created, that are in heaven, and that are in earth, visible and invisible, whether they be thrones, or dominions, or principalities, or powers: all things were created by him, and for him:
Col 1:17  And he is before all things, and by him all things consist.

The truth is we are born little serpents in the flesh, we are born in sin, inherited from our father, the first Adam.

Isa 59:5  They hatch cockatrice’ eggs, and weave the spider’s web: he that eateth of their eggs dieth, and that which is crushed breaketh out into a viper.

Rom 3:9  What then? are we better than they? No, in no wise: for we have before proved both Jews and Gentiles, that they are all under sin;
Rom 3:10  As it is written, There is none righteous, no, not one:
Rom 3:11  There is none that understandeth, there is none that seeketh after God.
Rom 3:12  They are all gone out of the way, they are together become unprofitable; there is none that doeth good, no, not one.
Rom 3:13  Their throat is an open sepulchre; with their tongues they have used deceit; the poison of asps is under their lips:
Rom 3:14  Whose mouth is full of cursing and bitterness:
Rom 3:15  Their feet are swift to shed blood:
Rom 3:16  Destruction and misery are in their ways:
Rom 3:17  And the way of peace have they not known:
Rom 3:18  There is no fear of God before their eyes.

Being born through the lineage of the first Adam we are led to submit to our mother Babylon, Eve, as her husband did, and eat the forbidden fruit of free moral agency, separate and independent from the Creator. This lie is cast into the fire within the elect and is burnt up as wood, hay and stubble.

1Co 3:11  For other foundation can no man lay than that is laid, which is Jesus Christ.
1Co 3:12  Now if any man build upon this foundation gold, silver, precious stones, wood, hay, stubble;
1Co 3:13  Every man’s work shall be made manifest: for the day shall declare it, because it shall be revealed by fire; and the fire shall try every man’s work of what sort it is.
1Co 3:14  If any man’s work abide which he hath built thereupon, he shall receive a reward.
1Co 3:15  If any man’s work shall be burned, he shall suffer loss: but he himself shall be saved; yet so as by fire.
1Co 3:16  Know ye not that ye are the temple of God, and that the Spirit of God dwelleth in you?
1Co 3:17  If any man defile the temple of God, him shall God destroy; for the temple of God is holy, which temple ye are.
1Co 3:18  Let no man deceive himself. If any man among you seemeth to be wise in this world, let him become a fool, that he may be wise.
1Co 3:19  For the wisdom of this world is foolishness with God. For it is written, He taketh the wise in their own craftiness.
1Co 3:20  And again, The Lord knoweth the thoughts of the wise, that they are vain.
1Co 3:21  Therefore let no man glory in men. For all things are yours;
1Co 3:22  Whether Paul, or Apollos, or Cephas, or the world, or life, or death, or things present, or things to come; all are yours;
1Co 3:23  And ye are Christ’s; and Christ is God’s.

It is all ours, created on the foundations laid by Christ, Who created ALL THINGS, GOOD AND EVIL, and by Him DO ALL THINGS CONSIST. This truth destroys all the doctrines of Babylon and puts the man Christ as the HEAD of His own body, the church, Eve. We are under submission to Him and not Him to us. All Babylonian doctrines have mankind as free moral agents and Christ as a poor feckless King sitting on a cloud pulling His hair out because we have all gone our own way, and there was nothing He could do about it, EVEN THOUGH HE CREATED IT THAT WAY! Again…

Col 1:18  And he is the head of the body, the church: who is the beginning, the firstborn from the dead; that in all things he might have the preeminence.

He does not eat from the fruit of the woman’s hand. He is the One Who created the very fruit that Satan has deceived us into eating, but it was a needful process for us to see the truth. We are being delivered daily from passing through the fire of the false doctrines of Babylon. We are being delivered from divination, which is casting lots through magical spells of the doctrines of religion, we are being delivered from observing times, months and years like Christmas and Easter. We are being delivered from all kinds of enchantments through rosary beads, rehearsed prayers and spells of witchcraft. We are being delivered from charmers who have seduced us into false doctrines where the man is exalted and Christ is lessened as the Head of His own body. These enchanters exalt the flesh of man and tell you all the good things you are and have done.

We are delivered from the false doctrine of worshipping the dead carcase of mankind, who is dead in trespasses and sin and cannot see because he is dead. We are overcoming the land, we are possessing the land because Christ has gone on before us and has already defeated the false doctrines that have kept us blinded to the truth. There is but ONE God, and we are not Him. We are eating from His hand, not Him from ours. We are what we are at any given time because He and He alone has predestined it be at that time and in that eon. None can stay His hand and none can say to Him, what are you doing.

Dan 4:35  And all the inhabitants of the earth are reputed as nothing: and he doeth according to his will in the army of heaven, and among the inhabitants of the earth: and none can stay his hand, or say unto him, What doest thou?

Rom 9:16  So then it is not of him that willeth, nor of him that runneth, but of God that sheweth mercy.

Rom 9:20  Nay but, O man, who art thou that repliest against God? Shall the thing formed say to him that formed it, Why hast thou made me thus?

We are perfect in the eyes of Him Who created us to become perfect, and we will know what that perfection looks like when we see Him as He sees us.

Deu 18:13  Thou shalt be perfect with the LORD thy God.

1Co 13:12  For now we see through a glass, darkly; but then face to face: now I know in part; but then shall I know even as also I am known.

1Jn 4:2  Hereby know ye the Spirit of God: Every spirit that confesseth that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh is of God:
1Jn 4:3  And every spirit that confesseth not that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh is not of God: and this is that spirit of antichrist, whereof ye have heard that it should come; and even now already is it in the world.

1Jn 3:1  Behold, what manner of love the Father hath bestowed upon us, that we should be called the sons of God: therefore the world knoweth us not, because it knew him not.
1Jn 3:2  Beloved, now are we the sons of God, and it doth not yet appear what we shall be: but we know that, when he shall appear, we shall be like him; for we shall see him as he is.
1Jn 3:3  And every man that hath this hope in him purifieth himself, even as he is pure.

We are perfect now in the eyes of our Creator, Who exists outside of the limitations of time. He knows us as we are known of Him. He has, is and will be coming in our flesh. He resides in us, not on some rock called heaven, but in our hearts and minds. We have been given a gift like no other. We ARE CALLED, RIGHT NOW, THE SONS OF GOD, and none can stay His hand. We don’t see it perfectly yet, but we will. We will see what He sees about us, and we will see that we are like Him because we will see that we are HIS BODY. Every man that has this hope in him is purified from the sin of thinking himself as a god independent from the Creator. Whosoever still sees himself as having free will and being independent from the Creator, has not seen Him or known Him, and his sins of the flesh still remain because he is still breaking the first commandment.

1Jn 3:4  Whosoever committeth sin transgresseth also the law [You shall have no other God before me, yourself, the first commandment]: for sin is the transgression of the law. [Claiming freewill is breaking the first commandment.]
1Jn 3:5  And ye know that he was manifested to take away our sins[The fleshly manifestation of commandments #2-10]; and in him is no sin. [Thinking yourself a god independant and separate from the God.]
1Jn 3:6  Whosoever abideth in him sinneth not: whosoever sinneth hath not seen him, neither known him.
1Jn 3:7  Little children, let no man deceive you: he that doeth righteousness is righteous, even as he is righteous.
1Jn 3:8  He that committeth sin is of the devil; for the devil sinneth from the beginning. For this purpose the Son of God was manifested, that he might destroy the works of the devil.
1Jn 3:9  Whosoever is born of God doth not commit sin; for his seed remaineth in him: and he cannot sin, because he is born of God.
1Jn 3:10  In this the children of God are manifest, and the children of the devil: whosoever doeth not righteousness is not of God, neither he that loveth not his brother.

The sin of self-righteousness, claiming your own free will leaves you uncovered from the blood of Christ, because you have broken the first commandment and have placed yourself above God. If we are given to know the truth, that truth sets us free from the death of self-righteousness. Whosoever still believes he has free will has not seen Christ and still remains under judgment and must suffer the fire of Gehenna. Whosoever has been given eyes to see that his life is hid in Christ, confesses Christ as His righteousness and says, “Whatever I was, am or will be was, is and will be by the hand of the Creator has no sin and is called a son of God.” Like verse 13 said in Deuteronomy 18, “Thou shalt be perfect with The LORD thy God” Who has created us what we are, past, present and future. With this truth we are able to conquer the land and secure the kingdom of God in our hearts and minds, all through the truth that is given to us daily, hourly and minute by minute.

The land is before us, the fruit is plentiful, grape clusters so big that we have to carry them between two men. The houses are built, the land is tilled, planted and the fruit is ripe for harvest, all created by our Creator for us to feed off. May God the Father grant us the privledge to know this truth, to see who we are, and to take back the kingdom with the same force it was taken and in the end cast all things that have been done to the feet of Him Who created it to be so. We have nothing to fear.

Gen 15:1  After these things the word of the LORD came unto Abram in a vision, saying, Fear not, Abram: I am thy shield, and thy exceeding great reward.

Luk 8:50  But when Jesus heard it, he answered him, saying, Fear not: believe only, and she shall be made whole.

Luk 12:32  Fear not, little flock; for it is your Father’s good pleasure to give you the kingdom.

Rev 1:17  And when I saw him, I fell at his feet as dead. And he laid his right hand upon me, saying unto me, Fear not; I am the first and the last:
Rev 1:18  I am he that liveth, and was dead; and, behold, I am alive for evermore, Amen; and have the keys of hell and of death.

When we are given not to fear and to see that Christ has come into our flesh we see this;

Rev 21:1  And I saw a new heaven and a new earth [we see what life was, is and will be from the eyes of Him Who created it, is creating it and will create it for His own glory]: for the first heaven and the first earth were passed away[the way we saw life is falling from our heavens]; and there was no more sea. [There is no more glory of mankind, separate and independent from their Creator.]
Rev 21:2  And I John saw the holy city, new Jerusalem, coming down from God out of heaven, prepared as a bride adorned for her husband.
Rev 21:3  And I heard a great voice out of heaven saying, Behold, the tabernacle of God is with men, and he will dwell with them, and they shall be his people, and God himself shall be with them, and be their God.
Rev 21:4  And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away.

We see the new heavens because we see things in the light of the truth. We see a new earth because we see that whatever we have gone through, are going through, or will go through is created in our earth by the Creator in aorist tense. It’s all happening now, it’s all being created for the purpose of God to be glorified as God. All that we thought we were is passing away in the aorist tense. Daily, hourly, minute by minute we are dying to the thoughts of the old man, the man of sin and living unto the Creator, our new man, Jesus Christ. We see that it was, as Revelation 21:2 says, PREPARED as a bride adorned for her husband. We are given to see that God is with us, has been with us and will always be with us. He is not out somewhere in space, He is in us, “the tabernacle of God is WITH MEN” inside us, moving us to where we are to go. With this knowledge there is no more shame of what man would call past failures, no more tears of shame, no more death in our eyes, because all has been perfectly PREPARED for us to walk in so that we could be adorned as the bride of Christ, so united to her husband that she is one with Him. All things are passed away, all things are become new. No need for pain and sorrow, no need for tears of shame, we are what He has predestined we be, nothing more and nothing less. May we be given the privilege to know this truth.

Eph 1:4  According as he hath chosen us in him before the foundation of the world, that we should be holy and without blame before him in love:
Eph 1:5  Having predestinated us unto the adoption of children by Jesus Christ to himself, according to the good pleasure of his will,
Eph 1:6  To the praise of the glory of his grace, wherein he hath made us accepted in the beloved.

Eph 2:10  For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus unto good works, which God hath before ordained that we should walk in them.

Next week, LORD willing, we will see how the LORD God sends us a Prophet to know what we know; that Prophet is Jesus Christ.

Deu 18:15  The LORD thy God will raise up unto thee a Prophet from the midst of thee, of thy brethren, like unto me; unto him ye shall hearken;
Deu 18:16  According to all that thou desiredst of the LORD thy God in Horeb in the day of the assembly, saying, Let me not hear again the voice of the LORD my God, neither let me see this great fire any more, that I die not.
Deu 18:17  And the LORD said unto me, They have well spoken that which they have spoken.
Deu 18:18  I will raise them up a Prophet from among their brethren, like unto thee, and will put my words in his mouth; and he shall speak unto them all that I shall command him.
Deu 18:19  And it shall come to pass, that whosoever will not hearken unto my words which he shall speak in my name, I will require it of him.
Deu 18:20  But the prophet, which shall presume to speak a word in my name, which I have not commanded him to speak, or that shall speak in the name of other gods, even that prophet shall die.
Deu 18:21  And if thou say in thine heart, How shall we know the word which the LORD hath not spoken?
Deu 18:22  When a prophet speaketh in the name of the LORD, if the thing follow not, nor come to pass, that is the thing which the LORD hath not spoken, but the prophet hath spoken it presumptuously: thou shalt not be afraid of him.
