Deu 18:15-22 The Church Descends as a Bride to Her Husband, Christ

[Study Aired September 11, 2020]

The sin of self-righteousness, claiming your own free will, leaves one uncovered from the blood of Christ. If we are given to know the truth, that truth sets us free from the death of self-righteousness. Whosoever still believes he has free will has not seen Christ and still remains under judgment and must suffer the fire of Gehenna (Luk 12:5). Whosoever has been given eyes to see that his life is hid in Christ, confesses Christ as His righteousness and says, “Whatever I was, am or will be was, is and will be by the hand of the Creator” has no sin and is called a son of God. Like verse 13 said in Deuteronomy 18, “thou shalt be perfect with The LORD thy God” Who has created us what we are; past, present and future. With this truth we are able to conquer the land and secure the kingdom of God in our hearts and minds through the truth that is given to us daily, hourly and minute by minute. The land is before us, the fruit is plentiful, grape clusters so big that we have to carry them between two men. The houses are built, the land is tilled, planted and the fruit is ripe for harvest, all created by our Creator to feed us. May God the Father grant us the privledge to know this truth, to see who we are, and to take the kingdom with the same force it was taken and in the end cast all things that have been done to the feet of Him Who created it to be so. We have nothing to fear.

Gen 15:1  After these things the word of the LORD came unto Abram in a vision, saying, Fear not, Abram: I am thy shield, and thy exceeding great reward.

Luk 8:50  But when Jesus heard it, he answered him, saying, Fear not: believe only, and she shall be made whole.

Luk 12:32  Fear not, little flock; for it is your Father’s good pleasure to give you the kingdom.

Rev 1:17  And when I saw him, I fell at his feet as dead. And he laid his right hand upon me, saying unto me, Fear not; I am the first and the last:
Rev 1:18  I am he that liveth, and was dead; and, behold, I am alive for evermore, Amen; and have the keys of hell and of death.

When we are given not to fear and to see that Christ has come into our flesh we see this:

Rev 21:1  And I saw a new heaven and a new earth [We see what life was, is and will be from the eyes of Him Who created it, is creating it and will create it for His own glory.]: for the first heaven and the first earth were passed away[The way we saw life is falling from our heavens<./em>]; and there was no more sea. [There is no more glory of mankind, separate and independent from their Creator.]
Rev 21:2  And I John saw the holy city, new Jerusalem, coming down from God out of heaven, prepared as a bride adorned for her husband.
Rev 21:3  And I heard a great voice out of heaven saying, Behold, the tabernacle of God is with men, and he will dwell with them, and they shall be his people, and God himself shall be with them, and be their God.
Rev 21:4  And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away.

We see the new heavens because we see things in the light of the truth. We see a new earth because we see that whatever we have gone through, are going through or will go through is created in our earth by the Creator (in aorist tense). It’s all happening now, it’s all being created for the purpose of God to be glorified as God. All that we thought we were is passing away (in the aorist tense) daily, hourly and minute by minute. We are dying to the thoughts of the old man, the man of sin and living unto the Creator, our new man Jesus Christ.

We see that it was, as Revelation 21:2 says, PREPARED as a bride adorned for her husband. We are given to see that God is with us, has been with us and will always be with us. He is not out somewhere in space. He is in us, “the tabernacle of God is WITH MEN”, inside us, moving us to where we are to go. With this knowledge there is no more shame of what man would call past failures, no more tears of shame, no more death in our eyes, because all has been a perfectly PREPARED path for us to walk, so that we could be adorned as the bride of Christ.

The bride of Christ is so united to her husband that she is one with Him. All things are passed away, all things are become new. There is no need for pain and sorrow, no need for tears of shame; we are what He has predestined we be, nothing more and nothing less. May we be given the privledge to know this truth.

Eph 1:4  According as he hath chosen us in him before the foundation of the world, that we should be holy and without blame before him in love:
Eph 1:5  Having predestinated us unto the adoption of children by Jesus Christ to himself, according to the good pleasure of his will,
Eph 1:6  To the praise of the glory of his grace, wherein he hath made us accepted in the beloved.

Eph 2:10  For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus unto good works, which God hath before ordained that we should walk in them.

This was from last week’s study and I started there because of the next verses in our study today. It was a good set-up for what we are going to understand today.

Deu 18:15  The LORD thy God will raise up unto thee a Prophet from the midst of thee, of thy brethren, like unto me; unto him ye shall hearken;
Deu 18:16  According to all that thou desiredst of the LORD thy God in Horeb in the day of the assembly, saying, Let me not hear again the voice of the LORD my God, neither let me see this great fire any more, that I die not.
Deu 18:17  And the LORD said unto me, They have well spoken that which they have spoken.
Deu 18:18  I will raise them up a Prophet from among their brethren, like unto thee, and will put my words in his mouth; and he shall speak unto them all that I shall command him.
Deu 18:19  And it shall come to pass, that whosoever will not hearken unto my words which he shall speak in my name, I will require it of him.
Deu 18:20  But the prophet, which shall presume to speak a word in my name, which I have not commanded him to speak, or that shall speak in the name of other gods, even that prophet shall die.
Deu 18:21  And if thou say in thine heart, How shall we know the word which the LORD hath not spoken?
Deu 18:22  When a prophet speaketh in the name of the LORD, if the thing follow not, nor come to pass, that is the thing which the LORD hath not spoken, but the prophet hath spoken it presumptuously: thou shalt not be afraid of him.

Last week we ended the study by speaking of the new heavens and new earth, the new Jerusalem coming down from heaven as a bride prepared for her husband. We know that all things are to be seen inwardly first, and knowing that, we should know that this is just as true about God sending us a Prophet of our Brothers, of Adam. This Prophet is Christ.

So, we know Christ literally came over 2000 years ago and physically walked this earth, but what we are here to understand is how Christ is being raised “from the midst of thee, of thy brethren.” In understanding this fact, we will see that simultaneously we see the church descending as a bride adorned for her husband. The two go hand in hand.

Deu 18:15  The LORD thy God will raise up unto thee a Prophet from the midst of thee, of thy brethren, like unto me; unto him ye shall hearken;

Deu 18:18  I will raise them up a Prophet from among their brethren, like unto thee, and will put my words in his mouth; and he shall speak unto them all that I shall command him.

Rev 21:1  And I saw a new heaven and a new earth: for the first heaven and the first earth were passed away; and there was no more sea.
Rev 21:2  And I John saw the holy city, new Jerusalem, coming down from God out of heaven, prepared as a bride adorned for her husband.

Just as words were put into the mouth of the Prophet Who came from the “midst of thy brethren”, so the the bride is “prepared” as a bride. Here is the word “prepared” from Revelation 21:2.

G2090
ἑτοιμάζω
hetoimazō
het-oy-mad’-zo
From G2092; to prepare: – prepare, provide, make ready. Compare G2680.
Total KJV occurrences: 40

G2680
κατασκευάζω
kataskeuazō
kat-ask-yoo-ad’-zo
From G2596 and a derivative of G4632; to prepare thoroughly (properly by external equipment; whereas G2090 refers rather to internal fitness); by implication to construct, create: – build, make, ordain, prepare.
Total KJV occurrences: 11

G2090 (het-oy-mad’-zo) refers to internal fitness. So, to be prepared of God is being prepared internally by God, inwardly God has, is and will be preparing us as a bride for Christ. It cannot get any more plain than that. However, let us also not forget that this inward preparing is for an outward manifestation.

Col 3:1  If ye then be risen [G5681 – aorist tense, being raised] with Christ, seek those things which are above, where Christ sitteth on the right hand of God.
Col 3:2  Set your affection on things above, not on things on the earth.
Col 3:3  For ye are dead [G5627 – aorist tense, are dying], and your life is hid with Christ in God.
Col 3:4  When Christ, who is our life, shall appear [G5686 – aorist tense, shall be appearing], then shall ye also appear with him in glory.

The rising and appearing are the same thing, and with that rising and appearing, we are dying just as it was prophesied in Genesis:

Gen 2:17  and of the tree of knowledge of good and evil, thou dost not eat of it, for in the day of thine eating of it—dying thou dost die. (YLT)

The Prophet whot rises from among our brethren inside us is Christ rising from the dead nations of people inside us. We know we are made up of nations of false doctrines, all working in unison from the same false doctrine, free will. All of these nations are like our literal brain. Let me explain by quoting to you from the following sites:

So, the brain has about, roughly 100 billion neurons that make it a brain. Each year we lose many of those neurons (Cells).

Can You Grow New Brain Cells?

However, with the loss we gain about 1500 new brain cells a day.

We Create 1500 Neurons Every Day

We live our lives from birth firing between “synapses”, from between brain cells, and as we transmit between these cells they grow in number in the same thought, the same understanding, connecting to each other in the tens of thousands. After we are born, we learn to crawl from our brain firing between cells, teaching ourselves how to command our muscles to work so that we can crawl, then walk, then run. Each activity we learn goes through this process, from the simplest task to the hardest tasks.

Each task is a learned behavior from the cells communicating among each other. Half of the cells are receivers and half are transmitters. As the transmission takes place from one neuron to another, the behavior is spread through the brain so it gains strength and completes the behavior or the task with ease. Having said that, we are given a natural to explain the spiritual.

1Co 15:46  Howbeit that was not first which is spiritual, but that which is natural; and afterward that which is spiritual.

When we are in this world without the knowledge of truth, all that fires between each neuron has its beginning in “self”. All that we understand and learn we understand and learn from the starting point that we are our own gods independent and separate from the true God. We are taught by the original thought received from our parents.

Gen 3:5  For God doth know that in the day ye eat thereof, then your eyes shall be opened, and ye shall be as gods, knowing good and evil.
Gen 3:6  And when the woman saw that the tree was good for food, and that it was pleasant to the eyes, and a tree to be desired to make one wise, she took of the fruit thereof, and did eat, and gave also unto her husband with her; and he did eat.

This lying thought comes from the nature with which we are born, and it begins the growth of a brain that is taught self-righteousness, self-sufficentancy, and self-reliance. We are taught that what we are comes from within, not from outside ourselves. We are taught that we are our own captains of our destiny; we are what we make ourselves.

As we grow in age these thoughts multiply until the entire brain fires in rhythm, all working together that we are our own gods. We start off in life with the disease of self-righteousness; not self-righteousness just in thinking we are better than others like we do in religious thought, but self-righteousness in all that we are. How we walk, how we talk, how we move, no matter how small a decision, it starts with the thought, “I am capable of doing what I am doing.” This thought process is so ingrained that we do it without thinking at all. We do it, as I use to say, “naturally.” This is a lie and is against the Prophet Who begins the renewing of our minds.

Rom 12:1  I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that ye present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, which is your reasonable service.
Rom 12:2  And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.

Rotherham’s version is even better:

Rom 12:1  I beseech you therefore, brethren, through the compassions of God, to present your bodies a living, holy sacrifice, unto God acceptable,—your rational divine service;
Rom 12:2  And be not configuring yourselves unto this age, but be transforming yourselves by the renewing of your mind, to the end ye may be proving what is the thing willed by God—the good and acceptable and perfect.

What is willed by God? Whatever is, was and will be. God has willed it all, and God has made us to live and to move and to have our being in Him through Jesus Christ.

Act 17:24  The God that made the world and all things that are therein, the same, being, Lord, of heaven and earth, not in hand-made shrines, doth dwell,
Act 17:25  nor, by human hands, is waited upon, as though in want of anything, himself, giving unto all life and breath and all things;
Act 17:26  he made also, of one, every nation of men to dwell upon all the face of the earth,—marking out fitting opportunities, and the bounds of their dwelling place,
Act 17:27  that they might be seeking God—if, after all, indeed, they might feel after him and find him,—although, in truth, he is already not far from any one of us.
Act 17:28  For, in him, we live and move and are: as, even some of your own poets, have said —For, his offspring also, we are.
Act 17:29  Being, then, offspring, of God, we ought not to be supposing that, unto gold or silver or stone, graven by art and device of man, the Divine, is like.
Act 17:30  The times of ignorance, therefore, overlooking, God, as things now are, is charging all men everywhere to repent,
Act 17:31  inasmuch as he hath appointed a day, in which he is about to be judging the habitable earth in righteousness, by a man whom he hath pointed out, —offering faith unto all, by raising him from among the dead? (Rotherham)

These verses clearly teach us that we, all of humanity, live and move and have our being according to what God had destined we do. All humans from Adam until today are God’s handiwork through Jesus Christ. Christ created all things to glorify His Father, and they consist in whatever state they are to do just that – glorify God as God. As what was said earlier about our brain, it has been created with a disease, and that disease is self-sufficiency, self-righteousness. Self-righteousness means I am led astray in thinking that no matter what I do, I do of my own free moral turpitude, my innate depravity. I choose what I do or don’t do. But, the Prophet sent to us shows us that this is a lie and that we are the creations (in aorist tense) according to the divine will of the Creator. We are what He has destined we be at any given time in our life.

If we are left to our own devices (although none are really our own devices) we continue in the belief that we are what we are by what we have chosen to be. However, if we are the elect of God who were predestined by God to come to see the truth in this age, then we have begun our transformation, and our minds are being renewed, recreated. All the old transmitting neurons that sent messages to other receptor neurons are dying, and new ones are being formed. More die than what are renewed because there are more false doctrine in us than we know. We are made up of nations of false doctrine. Once the Prophet comes, Who brings EDIFICATION, EXHORTATION AND COMFORT, for that is what prophesy is, we die to the old way of thinking and are renewed day by day into the truth.

1Co 14:3  But he that prophesieth speaketh unto men to edification, and exhortation, and comfort.

The Prophet, which is a type and shadow of Jesus Christ, comes into our lives of His own plan, if we are the elect in this age/aion, and begins to recreate all that we were led to believe we were. This process, just like our natural growth process, takes a lifetime. It does not happen overnight and it does not happen through a ten-second sinner’s prayer. It takes time for the old neurons to die and the new ones to be born. Then for the new ones to spread to others like a disease, killing other self-righteous neurons, and the process continues until the whole is leavened by the prophesy of the Prophet or the land is filled by the growth of the truth.

Mat 13:31  Another parable put he forth unto them, saying, The kingdom of heaven is like to a grain of mustard seed, which a man took, and sowed in his field:
Mat 13:32  Which indeed is the least of all seeds: but when it is grown, it is the greatest among herbs, and becometh a tree, so that the birds of the air come and lodge in the branches thereof.
Mat 13:33  Another parable spake he unto them; The kingdom of heaven is like unto leaven, which a woman took, and hid in three measures of meal, till the whole was leavened.

Deu 18:18  I will raise them up a Prophet from among their brethren, like unto thee, and will put my words in his mouth; and he shall speak unto them all that I shall command him.

Christ speaks the words of His Father, and those words transform us from a self-centered, self-seeking, self-righteous beast into the image of Christ, into the image of His wife, the new Jerusalem which descends from our heavens after our old heavens have been leavened with the truth.

Rev 21:1  And I saw a new heaven and a new earth: for the first heaven and the first earth were passed away [passing away-G5627 aorist]; and there was no more sea.
saw the holy city, new Jerusalem, coming down from God out of heaven, prepared as a bride adorned for her husband.
[Whatever has been, the former things, I SAW, I HEARD, were from God through His Son Jesus Christ, Who created everything exactly how it was, is, and will be. I do not have to be ashamed because whatever has been, had been by the creation of the Creator. I have no free will and whatever has been, has been because the Creator willed it to be so for good (Col 1:15-17, Rom 8:27-29)]

All that I ever thought I had done, good or evil, all that I had thought mankind had done, good or evil, has been planned by the only God Who created it all to be exactly the way He has destined it be through Jesus Christ. We heard the truth through the Prophet because we were predestined to hear. We see the former things that caused all the tears and sorrow are gone, because the Creator created those things to be what they were, to drag us to the very truth He has predestined we know. That truth is invading this land of ours, called our bodies, and that truth is killing old thoughts that transmitted between other thoughts of free moral agency, and is replacing them with new neurons that transmit that God is the All in all that we are, have been or ever will be – to God be the honor and glory forever. As I showed you in the beginning, there are approximately 100 billion brain cells (neurons) in a human brain. Well, since the first literal man Adam until today, there have lived approximatley 100 billion humans on the earth.

How Many People Have Ever Lived on Planet Earth?

Do you think there might be a correlation and a connection? Humanity are the thoughts of God being manifested into reality. Mankind are all dying daily and being born daily and all are from the mind of the Creator to reveal to us Who He is, was and will be. We are not God independent from the God. I am not God, you are not God independent from the God, but if we are given the truth, we ARE THE SONS OF GOD. That means that we have the same mind the Creator has and truth is being transmitted to each elect member of His body as transmitters and receivers of the truth. The Prophet transmits the truth to you, you transmit it to me, and the the truth grows within us through the Spirit of God which started the transmission in us.

1Co 2:9  But as it is written, Eye hath not seen, nor ear heard, neither have entered into the heart of man, the things which God hath prepared for them that love him.
1Co 2:10  But God hath revealed them unto us by his Spirit: for the Spirit searcheth all things, yea, the deep things of God.
1Co 2:11  For what man knoweth the things of a man, save the spirit of man which is in him? even so the things of God knoweth no man, but the Spirit of God.
1Co 2:12  Now we have received [G5627 -aorist- are receiving], not the spirit of the world, but the spirit which is of God; that we might know the things that are freely given to us of God.
1Co 2:13  Which things also we speak, not in the words which man’s wisdom teacheth, but which the Holy Ghost teacheth; comparing spiritual things with spiritual
1Co 2:14  But the natural man receiveth not the things of the Spirit of God: for they are foolishness unto him: neither can he know them, because they are spiritually discerned. [No man can just pick up the bible and read it and understand God, NO MAN. It must be given to us to know the truth.]
1Co 2:15  But he that is spiritual judgeth all things, yet he himself is judged of no man.
1Co 2:16  For who hath known the mind of the Lord, that he may instruct him? But we have the mind of Christ.

Having the mind of Christ is having the original NEURON that TRUTHFULLY transmits the truth to us through the Spirit of God. Unless we are given that NEURON, WE CANNOT KNOW TRUTH because all our thoughts are transmitted through the original thought that we are gods independent from the one and only God. Mankind judges everything from a natural point of view and sees the spiritual as foolishness. We see the spiritual as foolish because we cannot see it with the carnal mind. We see it as something mysterious and elusive, therefore it must be heresy and evil. We feel that because it is eluding us, it is false, and if it is false, it is against what we are taught from birth, that we are free moral agents. Like the disciples, who did not have the Spirit of God at the time, said to Christ when they did not understand what He was saying, “Why do you speak to them in parables?” disciples came, and said unto him, Why speakest thou unto them in parables?

Mat 13:11  He answered and said unto them, Because it is given unto you to know the mysteries of the kingdom of heaven, but to them it is not given.

“Because it is given [G5769-perfect tense] to you to know [G5629-aorist tense] the mysteries of the kingdom of heaven”. We are given the perfect truth to come to know. We grow in grace and knowledge of truth just as our neurons grow into contact with thousands of other neurons, until the whole brain is leavened.

2Pe 3:18  But grow in grace, and in the knowledge of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. To him be glory both now and for ever. Amen.

All that The Prophet comes to tell us is perfect and truth about Who God the Father is, was and will be. This perfect truth spreads through each of us as we connect together like separate neurons making the whole truth. That truth leads us to have the mind of God.

Rom 15:6  That ye may with one mind and one mouth glorify God, even the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ.
Rom 15:7  Wherefore receive ye one another, as Christ also received us to the glory of God.

1Co 2:15  But he that is spiritual judgeth all things, yet he himself is judged of no man.
1Co 2:16  For who hath known the mind of the Lord, that he may instruct him? But we have the mind of Christ.
