The Spiritual Application Of: "The Dead Know Not Anything"
Hi R____,Mike,Ecc 9:5 For the living know that they shall die: but the dead know not any thing, neither have they any more a reward; for the memory of them is forgotten.Those that are spiritually alive (the living) know that they shall die (crucified with Christ). But the dead (spiritually dead) know not anything (any spiritual understanding). Neither have they any more a reward (salvation). For the memory of them is forgotten (the wicked shall be ashes under the soles of your feet).YBITCR____
That is right.
Of course, it also applies internally to the old 'me':
Heb 8:12 For I will be merciful to their unrighteousness, and their sins and their iniquities will I remember no more.
Heb 10:16 This [is] the covenant that I will make with them after those days, saith the Lord, I will put my laws into their hearts, and in their minds will I write them;
Heb 10:17 And their sins and iniquities will I remember no more.
Isa 65:16 That he who blesseth himself in the earth shall bless himself in the God of truth; and he that sweareth in the earth shall swear by the God of truth; because the former troubles are forgotten, and because they are hid from mine eyes.Thanks for sharing this revelation with me.
