Immature Children of God Don't Recognize Christ

I just read your discussion with L______. As many seem to do, he used an analogy of the children waiting for the Father to return from a long journey, to only embrace the more mature ones. The thing that occurred to me is the fact that the immature children don't even recognize the Christ when they see him. Everything that mainstream Christianity believes is steeped in the literal flesh ... such as a literal lake of fire. God is spirit, and His thoughts are definitely not ours.

That is a good point. The immature certainly won't recognize Christ, and Christ tells us plainly that "Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord ... And I will say 'I never knew you,'" (Mat 7:22-23).
