My Advice For A Young Christian

Mike,
Thanks so much for your wisdom. I'm so frustrated with this sin. I do well for a while than it pops back up. It would look like valleys and mountains on a graph. I can see such a difference between both natures at work in me. What a wretched man I am! I really see how worthless the flesh is. How do I come out of it and be more spiritual? I have to be honest. I'm a bit afraid of some of the things that have been happening to me and the changes in my life. I got a conviction or something like what Paul talked about in Titus 3:5 early in the morning in my room about 8 months ago. I've been reading your website night and day for about two weeks now, and it seems like everything I learned at Church for the past 6 months is mostly milk or an improper interpretation.
It's funny how I knew inside what was missing there it was the Holy Ghost. Well anyway, I'm very unsure about what to do now that God is showing me deeper Truths. I want to see all the truths of the Bible and teach people. I want to lay pure gold over my foundation, but have no idea how to begin. I'm aware I need to forget a lot of the stuff I learned, but am unsure of where to turn now. Any advice?

I am pleased to hear that you are seeing through the 200 thousand, thousand lies of Babylon that are blotting out the light of the sun:
Rev 9:2 And he opened the bottomless pit; and there arose a smoke out of the pit, as the smoke of a great furnace; and the sun and the air were darkened by reason of the smoke of the pit.
Rev 9:3 And there came out of the smoke locusts upon the earth: and unto them was given power, as the scorpions of the earth have power.
Rev 9:7 And the shapes of the locusts were like unto horses prepared unto battle; and on their heads [were] as it were crowns like gold, and their faces [were] as the faces of men.
Rev 9:16 And the number of the army of the horsemen were two hundred thousand thousand: and I heard the number of them.
This is what the apostle John was referring to when He said "many false prophets have gone forth into the world."
1Jn 4:1 Beloved, believe not every spirit, but try the spirits whether they are of God: because many false prophets are gone out into the world.
You ask if I have any advice for you? Yes, I do. You need to realize that you will continue to fail at fighting temptation until you have become sick of what and who you are of yourself. Such an attitude takes many years sometimes to acquire even with the help of God's holy spirit. The beast is loath and slow to give up his throne within the temple of God, which temple you are.
1Co 3:16 Know ye not that ye are the temple of God, and [that] the Spirit of God dwelleth in you?
1Co 3:17 If any man defile the temple of God, him shall God destroy; for the temple of God is holy, which temple ye are.
But Christ will not be denied. He will give you the victory in due time.
Rom 8:35 Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? [shall] tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or peril, or sword? So my advice to you is to be patient because it is in your patience that you possess your soul:
Rom 8:36 As it is written, For thy sake we are killed all the day long; we are accounted as sheep for the slaughter.
Rom 8:37 Nay, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him that loved us.
Rom 8:38 For I am persuaded, that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor powers, nor things present, nor things to come,
Rom 8:39 Nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature, shall be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.
Luk 21:19 In your patience possess ye your souls.
Your brother in Christ,
Mike
