How Much Of Scripture Is Dispensational?
Hi S____,Dear Mike,I was reading a dispensational article about the resurrected body , and I didn't have to think, this scripture came to mind instantly - Matthew 22:29 Jesus answered and said unto them, Ye do err, not knowing the scriptures, nor the power of God. This scripture has become one of my favorites in the past year or so. As for myself Mike, I said I belong to the foot Church because I can't get lower than that in the body (the Church ). My prayer for myself is "Father have mercy on me a sinner I'm as a filthy rag and not worthy to be a son not my will but your will".Romans 12
3 For I say, through the grace given to me, to everyone who is among you, not to think of himself more highly than he ought to think, but to think soberly, as God has dealt to each one a measure of faith.
4 For as we have many members in one body, but all the members do not have the same function,
5 so we, being many, are one body in Christ, and individually members of one another.
6 Having then gifts differing according to the grace that is given to us, let us use them: if prophecy, let us prophesy in proportion to our faith;
7 or ministry, let us use it in our ministering; he who teaches, in teaching;
8 he who exhorts, in exhortation; he who gives, with liberality; he who leads, with diligence; he who shows mercy, with cheerfulness,
Romans 15
4 For whatever things were written before were written for our learning, that we through the patience and comfort of the Scriptures might have hope. 5 Now may the God of patience and comfort grant you to be like-minded toward one another, according to Christ Jesus, 6 that you may with one mind and one mouth glorify the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ.
7 Therefore receive one another, just as Christ also received us, to the glory of God.
Ephesians 4
1 I, therefore, the prisoner of the Lord, beseech you to walk worthy of the calling with which you were called, 2 with all lowliness and gentleness, with longsuffering, bearing with one another in love,
3 endeavoring to keep the unity of the Spirit in the bond of peace. 4 There is one body and one Spirit, just as you were called in one hope of your calling;
5 one Lord, one faith, one baptism; 6 one God and Father of all, who is above all, and through all, and in you all.
7 But to each one of us grace was given according to the measure of Christ's gift.
Galatians 6
3 For if anyone thinks himself to be something, when he is nothing, he deceives himself.
John 3 30
30 He must increase, but I must decrease.
Peace in Christ,
