Will There Be a Ranking When God is All in All?
Posted August 2, 2010
Hey Mike,
Quick question. Do you believe there will some kind of hierarchy when God's kingdom is all-in-all? The scripture that comes to mind is Mat 5:19.
Mat 5:19 Whosoever therefore shall break one of these least commandments, and shall teach men so, he shall be called the least in the kingdom of heaven: but whosoever shall do and teach [them], the same shall be called great in the kingdom of heaven.I know the Father will always be God the Father, but what about man? Will Jesus always be second in command? Will the elect always be above those in the second resurrection? Or will we all just be the same under one God and Father? This is more out of curiosity than anything essential to my learning. Don't bother if you find that you don't have the time. Thanks, Mike. I pray that all is well with you and your family.

Hi R____,
Thank you for your question.
I do not want ever to so much a "think above what is written," so I will just point out what is said about how things will be after God is all in all.
1Co 15:28 And when all things shall be subdued unto him, then shall the Son also himself be subject unto him that put all things under him, that God may be all in all.
1Co 4:6 And these things, brethren, I have in a figure transferred to myself and [to] Apollos for your sakes; that ye might learn in us not to think [of men] above that which is written, that no one of you be puffed up for one against another.
I hope that answers your question. The Son Himself will be subject to His Father, so it appears you are right. There will always be an order even when God is in us all.
